How I think COD GHOSTS Characters Would Sleep/Sleep next to you (GN - Teammate!Reader)

Note: This is like awkward coworker things. As if being forced to share a bed, not really romantic or anything, so it's platonic but could be for anyone. Just my thoughts on how these characters would react/act to this type of situation.

Includes; Elias Walker, David ‘Hesh’ Walker, Logan Walker, Keegan P. Russ, Thomas A. Merrick, Kick and Riley

Elias Walker:

- He does an awkward little ‘I'm just gonna scootch in right here’ murmur as he lays down on one side of the bed. A pillow between you two as he crosses his arms over his chest to sleep.

- He's dead asleep before you even touch your pillow, and he snores… loudly. Like loud. And he can sleep in any position. His time in the military trained him for anything. Even if you take up most of the bed, he can hang his legs half off it and still stay asleep.

- He ends up sleeping with a pillow over his eyes, his arm would keep it in place, it lowkey looks like he suffocated himself, but nah, he's fine. Somehow, he just sleeps like that just to ‘block everything out’ for no specific reason. (But hey it blocks out his snores half the time)

- Elias doesn't really shift or move once he's asleep, he just stays very still, you might assume he's dead every time You wake up through the night.

- Elias is the ‘right’ temperature during the night, he's always very warm, not too cold or not too hot. If you're cold, he's willing to simply offer you all the blankets, or if you're hot he wouldn't mind taking the blankets for himself.

- Elias tries to be mindful of what you want or need, you could just wake him up if you need to, just let him know if you need something. Like you want a cup of water? He would get up out of bed to go get you one.

David ‘Hesh’ Walker:

- Surprisingly, Hesh doesn't snore, but he does like grunt or groan when he sleeps whenever he shifts over or when Riley hops onto him/the bed to sleep with you both.

- He isn't very awkward if you two know each other ‘well enough’ but if you two don't? He's as stiff as a board, glancing at you every few minutes as if to ensure that this was okay, are you comfortable? He's not comfortable.

- Hesh puts a pillow between the two of you at the beginning of the night, but half way through he ends up holding that pillow, cuddling up to it just to have something to hold. 

- He spawls out when he sleeps, unlike Elias he shifts around alot, moving his body when he's too hot, to find the colder areas of the bed. Hesh is like a human-heater while asleep and you being in the bed next to him doesn't help.

- If you need something he will begrudgingly go get it for you, he would grumble or be sassy about it though. Only for your first ask, if he gets in bed and you ask him for another thing? He's not getting up till morning unless it's important.

Logan Walker: 

- He snores, despite being deadly silent throughout the whole day, he snores like his father. Very loud, Like put him and Riley in a room together overnight and Hesh would refuse to sleep near them.

- Logan would just opt to stay awake, silently staring at the ceiling as you sleep next to him. He reflecting his life, like he does every night. His hands grasped together on his lower stomach as he doesn't even move. 

- You might get curious and glance up because you don't even hear or see him breath, get jumpscared by his eyes being wide open as he ‘reflects’ or he also just sleeps with his eyes open somehow. Like half open, his eyes don't even fully close as he got into a ‘habit’ when he was young. (It scared the shit out of Elias and Hesh constantly when he was young, Elias would always just..  close his eyes at night, so he didn't have to see it or put a sleep mask on him)

- Logan isn't aware of this habit either, you try and smack him awake, and he wakes up but confused thinking you just smacked him for no reason, even if you try and explain it to him, he just waves it off.

- Logan’s freezing during the night, he ends up accidentally stealing the blanket a handful of times from you. You may need to yank it back over yourself or he just wouldn't notice your silent suffering or your annoyance.

- Logan isn't a fan of getting woken up, he would give you a side eye as he grunts if you ask for something.. unless it's very needed, he won't be moving. Claims his legs asleep just for him to forget about your request and fall back asleep.

Keegan P. Russ: 

- He's an asshole, puts his cold feet over you, never in a pattern, but just does it, even wakes you up with just putting his feet on you.

- He can sleep anywhere, Any position, any time. Give him five minutes and he'll be dead asleep.

- Suffers from nightmares, so he might scare you awake randomly through the night when he shoots up from his sleep and accidentally almost shoves you off the bed.

- Keegan is freezing, and he knows it. Randomly places his hand on your arm or his legs over yours if you two know each other very well, he's simply smug and likes messing with you.

- If you two don't know each other he's silently there. Won't interact with you, won't touch you, won't go near you, there is two pillows between you both as if you even shift he's staring at you. He would stay awake the whole night, not trusting sleeping next to someone he doesn't know very well.

- If you do ask him for something throughout the night he tells you to “screw yourself” or a flat out “No.” before going to go get whatever you ask for within five minutes. He won't get up twice though, so if you need a handful of things just ask while he's up because he will ignore you if you ask for something else after he lays down again.

Thomas A. Merrick:

- It isn't that bad at all, Merrick's pretty respectful, makes it comfortable for you both. He'll ask if you are comfortable when you sleep side by side. If you're not? He's willing to put a pillow between you, or he might just end up sleeping on a chair if you don't want to sleep next to him.

- He will scrunch up his body uncomfortably if you ask him to sit in the chair. Merrick can somehow sleep like that, but will wake up with back pains.

- Sleeping in bed next to each other isn't even awkward, it's just the silence that is heavy, he makes sure not to touch you, or bother you. But he does snore in his sleep, and it's never continuous snoring. No it's random loud snores or snorts while he's asleep, it's like a jumpscare how random it is.

- He apologizes if you wake him up to tell him off, and does indeed sleep elsewhere if you want him to. Merrick does care about your sleep, you both being teammates, he needs you in your best conditions and if he is ruining your sleep accidentally, he's willing to sleep elsewhere.

- Merrick is nice and warm when he sleeps, he wouldn't really mind if you cuddle up to him if you two know each other well enough. He will simply put his arm under your head and hold you close. 

- If you ask him to get up from the bed to get you something, he would grumble about it under his breath but get up to go get it for you, you can do this a maximum of three times throughout the while night before he gets too agitated with you and gives you a order to just go to fucking bed.

Kick:

- Kick is.. well a difficult sleeper, he could either have great nights of sleep, or he'll continuously wake up every few hours. In turn? He wakes you up every few hours as well, he shifts, turns, throws a leg over you (you can throw it back over him or shove him off the bed, he will end up staying on the floor till the next time he wakes up through the night.).

- He also makes random noises? Like completely random, he's somehow really good at impressions while dead asleep, boots against the floor? No it's just Kick sleep talking..? conversations while he's dead asleep? It keeps you on edge the whole night, not knowing what is Kick… or what could possibly be an intruder.

- You two end up kicking eachothers feet all night long, Kick doing it too well.. kick you, randomly just attacking your feet with his own, and in retaliation you kick him back, this goes on all night. Neither of you get sleep.

- He ends up asking to hold hands with a smug look, just for his own amusement, he's trying to make this night difficult for you so he can laugh later. 

If you accept? Great, his interlocking your hands with a smug look on his face, ends up doing a death grip on your hand and he commits to the bit, he stays like that all night, even if it gets sweaty.. You'll have to fight him to get him to let go.

If You give him a side eye, tell him to shut up and get some rest, he'll be dramatic. Monologues out loud about his ‘disappointment’, makes it a point to call Keegan (if he could, Keegan might hangup or just listen to make fun of Kick next time they're on a mission together) and complain to him loudly for you to hear.

- Kick is a cool guy, not to hot or not to cold, he doesn't mind cuddling at all, he will put up a fight if you attempt to take all the blankets, if he gets none he will cuddle up to your cocooned form (if you are comfortable with that) 

- If you ask him to get up to get you something he just laughs at you and tells you hell no. Unless it's important, he's not moving from this bed until morning.

- It's actually not that awkward sharing a bed with Kick, his constant teasing, jokes and idiotic actions make it seem more like a friendly sleepover rather than awkward co-worker forced to share a bed.

Riley: 

- Riley decides to sleep in your room instead of Hesh's (after Hesh annoyed the poor dog by promising Riley to go on a walk, then forgetting due to getting back from a rough mission.) Riley ends up plopping head first into your pillow, carrying one of Logan's shirt in his mouth deciding it was his comfort item of the night.

- Riley just puts a good chunk of his weight onto you, plops his butt right to sit on you while you're asleep to attempt to wake you up. Like he will just sit like that and side eye you until you wake up and acknowledge his grand presence. 

- if you don't pet him or lay him down next to you, he gets in your personal space, like creepily stares into your closed eyes, standing over you with Logan's damn sweatshirt smacking your face until you get up or groan.. or pull Riley down to lay next to you or on you.

- Riley's tail wags when you finally wake up or acknowledge him, laying over you as you give him attention. 

- Riley does indeed quiet down after he gets what he wants, but he sprawls In his sleep.. despite being a dog, he takes up most of the bed. (It's why Hesh gets grumbley when Riley decides to take over his bed, because neither Hesh, Logan or Riley are winning whenever they share a room, as Riley makes sure to take over any bed space he could see). 

- Riley also snores, no one is sure if he's just mimicking Elias or Logan or if he really just snores really loud. Riley does indeed sometimes loudly snores when napping, you'll hear it from another room.

(Random Note; Lowkey. I want more COD GHOSTS content. more lore on Torch, Neptune, and Grim. Hell even Kick, Ajax and the OG members, Like old Task Force Stalker missions, would be so epic to know about)

Platonically sharing a bed with the Ghosts

One-bed scenario hcs with the Ghosts, and you get to see their sleeping habits. Enjoy!

Logan Walker:

A little awkward about sharing the bed, but not against it.

Even though he's shared beds with Hesh when he was younger, he hasn't done it in a long time. And with someone of the opposite sex? It's a little awkward.

But he's not awkward in his sleep. He'd probably sleep in a starfish position, accidentally kick your back or put his leg on top of you

And maybe if he's having a nightmare, he might cuddle you for some comfort.

David 'Hesh' Walker:

Also awkward about sharing the bed but tries to hide it and plays it cool, telling himself, "it's just gonna be one night."

But he cannot keep his cool once you hit the bed next to him.

He loves cuddling but since both of you are just coworkers, he's fighting the urge so hard because he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable. He ends up not getting a wink of sleep for a couple hours

But when he does sleep, he sleeps like he's a dead body in a coffin, fingers intertwined and all, straight and tall like a soldier.

Sleeptalks sometimes, but it's just incoherent mumbling.

Elias 'Scarecrow' Walker:

He gets in bed, says "good night" and proceeds to not acknowledge you unless necessary. He is visibly embarrassed and annoyed by this arrangement, but doesn't complain about it.

He sleeps in a rather loose fetal position, tosses and turns around a lot and it keeps you awake for a while until he finally stops and falls into a deep sleep.

Tends to wedge his hand in between his knees when asleep.

Although he can sleep anywhere, he prefers a completely dark room with minimal light

If there's too much light, on goes the eye mask.

Thomas Merrick:

It's written all over his face. He's AWKWARD. But he doesn't say anything so as to not make you uncomfortable. And you don't say anything to him either.

He even offers to sleep on the floor to escape this ordeal, but you refuse and have him sleep on the bed, since it was big enough for two and you didn't want him to be uncomfortable.

He obliges and gets in bed, but makes sure he keeps plenty of space between you and him (he's at the risk of falling off the bed)

And when you tell him to chill out, he grumbles, "I'm... chill." The hip and groovy slang doesn't roll out of his Millennial tongue very well.

He eventually falls asleep facing away from you, hogging the blanket and burying himself in it like he is a worm in a chrysalis.

Big, strong guy sometimes feels like he needs some protection from the world too.

Keegan Russ:

His face is blank. He does feel awkward about it but neither his face, his voice, nor his body language betray any of what he feels.

He sets up a wall of pillows in the middle of the bed. "Neither of us are crossing this line, alright?" he says, and you nod, not planning on doing so anyway.

Both of you go to sleep. He sleeps in a tight fetal position and hugs the pillow he's sleeping on.

Another position he sleeps in is on his stomach with his knee hoisted up. He won't care if it's bad for the spine, it's comfy.

Give him a few hours and he's already disregarded his own rule, and has pushed away the pillow wall to simply press his head against your back, just to feel a little less lonely.

Kick:

Not awkward AT ALL. He actually digs this arrangement but is trying not to show it. But the amused smirk on his face blows his cover.

He sleeps very comfortably and if he's close enough friends with you and ensures you don't mind his touch, he would actually shamelessly cuddle you.

And you find his cuddling comfortable.

Sometimes sleeps like a Victorian child dying of a disease, having his hand on his head and all that

By the time it's morning, he's on the floor

Alex 'Ajax' Johnson:

Ajax genuinely doesn't care. Only one bed? He'll just shrug and go along with it. He's done this countless times.

In a way, him not caring makes you feel a little less awkward about it.

He keeps his distance from you and doesn't trouble you at all

He's an absolute madman to sleep without a blanket, and it's not just because he's used to it. It's a preference. He doesn't feel very cold.

Light sleeper. But he snores a bit.

Not a cuddler, but he wouldn't mind if you cuddled with him to keep warm.

Riley:

No awkwardness, no shame, only a little baby happy to sleep on the bed with you.

BED HOGGER!

Normally a light sleeper since he's a dog, but in complete safety, he sleeps like the dead, deep enough to dream

On hot days, he likes to lean against the headrest and sleep on his back to support his legs.

On cold days, he sleeps in a doughnut formation with his nose tucked under his tail.

He's a warm boy, loves to cuddle. Even when he needs his space, he'll make sure he keeps either his tail or his paw touching you.

He's an early riser and to wake you up, he'll either lick, paw, or nudge your face with his cold nose.

BONUS - Gabriel Rorke:

Like Ajax, he doesn't care. Once he hits the bed, he's conked out.

He has one of his legs hanging out of the bed, a nightmarish thing for a kid who might see this. You tell him jokingly, "The monster under the bed will grab your leg and drag you underneath." And he just says, "I am the monster under the bed," to assert dominance to the imaginary beasts.

Light sleeper, and sleeps on his back, arms crossed like he has a meeting to attend in 30 minutes.

He sometimes has his eyes half-open, which is kinda freaky

And being a light sleeper, you don't know whether he's asleep or awake and trolling you.

Mrs. Walker, A Thought…

Okay, angst time regarding Mrs. Walker, wife of Elias and mother of David and Logan.

What if Mrs. Walker was also in the military with Elias and was killed in action?

What if the main reason why David and Logan joined wasn’t just because of Elias and the Federation but also because they wanted to follow in their mom’s footsteps as well and bring justice to the world in honor of her? Making her proud.

Also, if she was in the military, what do you think she would be?

I almost want to think combat medic for some reason. Probably because of when Logan got stabbed in the chest near the beginning of the game and David ran in saying “Shit, you’re bleeding” and was checking him over and everything. What if he learned about the importance of understanding how to stop a bleeding wound or how to care for wounds because of their mom’s occupation? Like her job made him realize how he could help his comrades and civilians until they’re able to get to a medic.

Hugging Headcanons (COD Ghosts x GN! Reader)

David "Hesh" Walker

As we all know, Hesh is very, very open with his emotions. Both negative and positive, it's very easy to see what he's feeling at a glance.

Which means he is also very open to tell you how he feels for you (after months of pining and annoying Logan about it. Who was ready to spill his brothers secret for him, just so he could have one night without hearing about you)

Not only tells you how much he loves you, but also shows it through his hugs.

Normally quite goofy, a lot of times ending in you laughing while pushing against his chest. Trying to create space between the two of you as he only pulls you tighter.

You two also have your fair share of serious, loving hugs when the moment calls for it.

Loves watching you jump then immediately relax when he surprises you and hugs you from behind. Has almost gotten nailed right in the nose for it though.

Will hug you everywhere and anywhere that it's safe. No regard for who's watching, or your surroundings (the exception being if the surroundings/situation is dangerous)

Hesh has developed the habit of seeking you out when he needs a pick me up. Especially when his head gets a little too loud, and life becomes a bit overwhelming.

Maybe it's the feeling of security when he's wrapped up in you, but he finds it easier to deal with his emotions when being held by you. These moments seem to help him find clarity in his thoughts, and help him gain new perspective.

Especially when he's dealing with problems or topics he feels hopeless and lost about.

Hesh is just all around more level headed when he can hold you and slow his brain down for a few minutes.

Keegan Russ

He's antisocial, appreciates having a decent amount of personal space. So 1 of 2 things happens:

If you're like him, and don't particularly like people being too close. He respects it, and finds it rather endearing watching the journey of you getting a little bit closer to him each day. To the point where standing beside one another comfortably is the norm.

If you're not like him, and love being up close and personal he'll eventually form a soft spot for you. Initially gets annoyed, but holds back the attitude because he does like having you around. But maybe over there.

Don't ask me why, but I get the vibe that while he wants to hug you sooner, he doesn't. For what reason? Nobody, including himself can figure that one out.

The first hug would be work related. Whether that be a heroic "oh shit" moment where he's doing something like the clichè cover your body with his. Except far less dramatic (nobody got hurt).

Or a way to not get caught when trying to go undercover.

No, those aren't 2 Ghosts. Just a couple of overgrown teenagers loving up on one another in that dark alley. It's fine.

After that first time however, he's hugging you during every quiet moment the two of you have together.

If you're shorter than him, he's going to rest his chin on your head and hold you tight into his chest. He always feels like you're this delicate thing that needs to be protected within his embrace (even though you're not and would likely chew him out if he ever said that out loud).

If you're the same height or taller -- he loves pressing his face into your neck. It brings him unlimited comfort doing this, but he'll deny it to no end if anyone asks.

Thomas Merrick

Another guy that gives me bear hug vibes (like Price). Not overly obnoxious, but if the situation or mood calls for it he's holding you tight and considering the idea of not letting go.

Otherwise very casual with keeping physical touch. Arm around your shoulders or waist when you're sitting next to one another or walking together.

While very private about his personal life, he unconsciously wants to keep in some form of physical contact with you.

Has totally done that thing where he rests his cheek on your head, just relishing in the moment.

Especially on long rides back to whatever destination. He's gotten a couple curious looks from the newest Ghosts for this (in his defense, Logan did think it was adorable. Hesh ruined it by showing his clear confusion because Merrick's a softie?!)

They were promptly shut down by one of the other guys giving them a look of warning. Just let the man have his small moments of peace....in peace.

Call him old fashioned, but he loves when he can hold you close and slowly dance with you. Music is totally optional.

He may or may not have imagined the two of you like this on your wedding day (if marriage is in the cards for you two).

While he can come off as hot headed, and loyal/defensive to a fault (literally slamming Hesh into a wall for stepping up at Keegan) I want to say he's actually fairly laid back at home. If he needs to step in and ensure you're okay, he will in a heartbeat.

But otherwise? Totally content just lounging around with you in his arms.

Merrick also appreciates when he's the little spoon. Or being hugged from behind. Something about the feeling warms his heart in ways he can't (and won't) describe.

Logan Walker

In the beginning, you're going to have to initiate most of the hugs. While he loves them, he overthinks it too much and talks himself out of it.

Loves (and I mean LOVES) being hugged by you. Everything in the world just lines up during the time he's being held by you. Nothing bad can happen to him when you're hugging him.

The first time he hugged you (was a "from behind hug" where he rested his chin on your shoulder) you could've swore your heart might've exploded.

His confidence eventually progresses to greeting you (when appropritate, nobody dying for hugs here) with a hug and forehead kiss becoming the norm.

Hear me out on this, beach date with Logan. Hanging out by the water when he hugs you from behind....then promptly dunks you both under the water.

He'd be fully clothed and dripping wet with you, but would have such a mischievous smile on his face for the rest of the day.

That was the most fun I've had in a long time. He would tell you later that day, waiting for the sun to dry you both off.

Little does he know you're probably plotting his revenge.

Post-capture, this would be one of the first things he finds to come back naturally. They wiped most of his mind and memory, but the feeling of you in his arms and vice versa seems to be ingrained in his muscles.

Even when the world becomes a bit too much for him to handle, the comfort of your hugs grounds him and wipes his mind for a second

Elias Walker

Throwing him in here to say it would only happen under 3 circumstances:

1). You become like a third child to him

2). You are in desperate need of some familial comfort

3). You were almost seriously injured/killed on a mission and thank God you're okay. Remember how he pushed Merrick off Hesh in the helicopter scene and immediately went to calm Hesh down? I'm thinking that kind of vibe.

I don't know, he's the dad of the game and I like the idea that Mama Walker was his soulmate. He has no interest in filling that role. He's content with his sons and team filling his heart

No matter what situation causes the chain reaction leading to a hug -- it's filled with comfort and understanding.

Like hugging a parent who truly cares, and wants the best for you. Leaves your conscience feeling lighter and your soul a little warmer

Gabriel Rorke

If you're on hugging tier with this man, you're special. Like....extremely special to him.

Maybe it's my overtired brain (that initiated this idea), but I could see you being the one and only tie he has left to life pre-federation (like with Logan - the feeling of holding you and being held is muscle memory. It evokes an unconscious reaction within him).

If you were by his side on the Federation:

He'd seek you out for some form of comfort, especially after capturing Logan and starting that process. No matter how brainwashed he is and hellbent on revenge, he knows first hand how terrible the conditioning process is.

For a kid he's never met, he feels horrible for doing this to him. But duty calls and you gotta do what you gotta do.

Especially on nights when he can't get the sound of the screams and agony out of his head...and his body aches in the same way it did years prior -- he seeks you out. Relishes in the feeling of you holding him and helping him forget about the atrocities.

If you're not part of the Federation with him:

I feel like you two would cross paths in the battlefield. Which would go 1 of 2 ways:

1). You get spared, he can't quite place the details but he recognizes you as someone vastly important in his life. All he wants in exchange for your freedom is a hug -- because apparently those were really important to him at one point before all this

2). You don't get spared. Again, some part of him screams and deep dives to try and remember who you are. Details are blurry or redacted within his head; but acting on instinct he pulls you close. Despite everything, you get your last moments alive in the arms of someone you once loved.

Keegan P. Russ x Autistic Reader

A/n: Once again, I myself am not autistic, I'm just here to try and spread love to you guys through characters. If any of this is wrong you can feel free to let me know ♥️

Keegan had a small circle. He didn't people a whole lot but mentoring the new kids that somehow ended up under his wing kind of became his thing. Like the unethical uncle whose closer in age to you than your parents kinda thing.

So when he heard you'd be joining the team he knew you were damn good. They hadn't had someone join for a while considering how tight knit that were, under the radar and skilled.

So whoever you were, you were worthy and Keegan could recognize that. Even if he'd test for himself your limits on field.

When you first met him he wasn't exactly what you'd expected. The others looked somewhat presentable and there was... Keegan. 😂😅

You were nervous to impress them and didn't want to fail. You were given the opportunity to work with the ghost team. You didn't want to screw it up.

When you met him, those first few days were extremely anxiety inducing. Shaking his hand and struggling to keep your eyes in one place.

"Eyes on me soldier."

"Sorry sir." You whispered, looking up at him briefly before your eyes darted away somewhere else again.

"Have trouble with eye contact soldier?"

"Yes sir... Sorry."

"That's fine. Just address me respectfully. We'll work on the eye contact."

You nod a little, following after him while Logan and Hesh follow after.

It didn't take too long. He eventually got his hands on your proper file instead of word of mouth and got to reading. This is where he discovered you are autistic.

Ah, so that explained eye contact. He doesn't know a lot about autism. He knows it makes a person neurologically different from others. But that was about it.

He just shrugged and went along with it, figuring he could learn from watching you. Since staying in the background and watching was his thing.

He watched you attempt to socialize with the others. They were all relatively quiet, all except for Hesh and Logan, who were riding the excitement of a new member.

They were a family and happy to welcome you and your skills in.

Over time Keegan got to noticing little things about you. How you flinched and at louder noises and your nose scrunched whenever you accidentally touched something you didn't like.

Especially the masks that they had for you guys to optionally wear. They were scratchy and tight and just didn't feel the best. Immediately turning down the offer to wear it.

Keegan noticed how you are your food, what you would refuse and what you'd eat. Your little organized piles, as well as with your new room.

Huh, autism definitely had its perks. That what he thought at first. One mission where you were forced to wear the mask for clearance purposes changed that.

You were stuck in this tight, itchy thing. It made your face too hot and pulled at your cheeks. You kept tugging it and trying to move it, scrunching up when it rubbed on your skin.

"Keep up kid." Keegan called behind him as he walked further along the old road. Your feet picked back up, silently following while trying to just get over the feeling of the mask.

Everything was going good, the air was quiet, the enemies were still. The ghost team doing what it did best.

Until the stress, the mask, the smell of the air through the fabric, and something inside you all too familiar snapped.

You dropped your gun at your hilt, immediately clawing at the thing desperately. Keegan whipped around, gun aimed until he saw it.

"Kid- kid, easy." He went over, attempting to pull your hands away but tears filled your eyes. "Get it off- get it off! Get it off!" You choked, voice cutting into nothing.

"You need to keep it on, it's fine."

You sobbed, finally pulling the edge, trying to rip it off your face, so Keegan stepped in. Pushing your back against the wall, his knee pressing into you as he gently pulled the mask off, letting you breathe.

Your back against the wall was grounding, breathing in air, rubbing your sweaty face of the afterfeeling. "Easy... Keep your head in the game, kid."

After that Keegan decided to do some more digging. He hadn't seen you looked so panicked.

That's where he learned about your sensitivity to different things and how textured, tastes, smells, touch, all can be affected.

And he felt that protectiveness. He didn't have to, but he went to the main office and got a different mask approved. It was a smoother, almost silk texture. Not too heavy, and it was loose. Next mission he gave it to you.

"Kid, try this." He tossed you the mask and in a last second you caught it, looking at it. "For me?" You looked back up at him.

"Keep your helmet on straight, you should be fine." He grabs his gun, nodding. "Wanna help you do your job right, right?"

You smiled softly. "Right."

From that point on Keegan pretty much adopted you. You were a good fighter, sometimes getting overwhelmed. When you were alone down in the compound with the others in the building, he was there.

"Keegan..."

"Talk to me kid, what do ya need?"

"I don't know what to do..." Your breathing was picking up as you looked at all the corners and empty fields.

Keegan nodded, grabbing the monitor. "Alright, couple feet in front of you, then you'll make a left. Should be two guys at the end of that wall. Take them down."

Keegan walked you through. It became habit to help you through when you needed it or felt unsure and overwhelmed.

And if anyone attempted to bully you or point it out? I pray for their soul, because God is the last thing they'll be talking to after that.

Keegan is pretty protective of you, and overtime You've grown closer to you. You opened up about your life with autism over drinks one evening. Telling him about the good and the bad.

Keegan wasn't the hugest talker, so he listened. Eyes on you, he tipped his drink to his mouth as you talked about autism. And then slowly throughout telling some of your life story you dragged onto topics of your favorite game characters or action figures. Iconic music people you liked or movies. And Keegan listened with interest.

You two talked until the bar closed and Keegan covered the tab, escorting you out the door.

"Keegan." You touched his arm.

He turned before getting in the car, looking at you. "Yeah?"

"Thanks. People usually say I'm annoying... You listened though."

Keegan hummed. "Always listening kid. Always."

You chuckled and rolled your eyes playfully. You got in the car and the two of you headed home.

After a nightmare of the battlefield, you would usually just hide. Your weight blanket under your bed usually worked. Your other squadmates hated you and you first started having nightmares around them.

But this time, breathing heavy, tears in your eyes, you found yourself at Keegan's door.

Keegan grumbled as he unlocked it and looked at you. "Kid... Y'ok?"

You shake your head, trembling. "Can I... Stay with you?"

There was a tense moment. Keegan didn't let many people into his room, or his bed, for any reason on that matter. But something tugged on that heart of his buried somewhere in there.

"Come in. Get comfy as you need."

You nodded gratefully and came over. Keegan let you lay down, smelling the familiar smell of Keegan on the sheets. Seeing his room for the first time. If was dark, there weren't any vibrant colors or patterns so it wasn't as much to look at.

But sometimes that's nice.

Keegan sat in the chair by his desk, looking at you, watching you get all situated in bed.

"Keegan can..." You sniffed. "Can you lay on top of me?"

He frowned. "What for?"

"Just... Please, it's complicated."

Keegan could see in your eyes you weren't pulling his leg so he did. Crawling into bed, making sure you were comfy on your back before slotting himself on top of you, arms wrapped around you a little, head settling.

"This ok?"

You wrapped your arms around him tightly. "Yes, thank you." You whispered. And within 20 minutes you were back asleep. With a warm, known body against yours.

Keegan has got your back. It's something you've slowly come to realize over time. Whether it be helping with food, environment, being a giant human weight blanket, talking you through missions, letting you ramble about anything you'd like.

You found yourself smiling with this family. Getting a chuckle out of him as you rambled on and on about things you wanted so desperately to talk about. Stuff someone was willing to hear.

This was a place that made you feel safe, a person you felt safe with.

Keegan could probably do some more research, and he promises he will find the time for it, but for now, he will learn alongside you as you grow more and more into an even better soldier.

The first time he was home early enough for you to actually talk to him. as he has been avoiding you, since you told him you were expecting. you knew you had to break the news to him now, As now would probably be the only time to do it. When you walked in he could tell something was up. "Hey love. You want 'a tea?" He asked, as he was heating up some water. "hey babe.... Can we talk?" You said lightly, trying not to sound upset. Ghost nodded his head in return waiting for you to finish your sentence. "I... Hmmm I had a miscarriage..." You said quietly. expecting not to get a reaction from the man who didn't even really want the kid, from what you thought. Before he turned his head, you could tell his eyes widen in shock. He looks at you blankly and you couldn't tell what emotion was going on in his head, And it kinda scared you.. "when?" He said quietly, and softly those being his only words. it took you by surprise. "I- about a week ago..." You said nervously. he quietly walked up to you, wrapping you in his arms giving you a tight, but gentle hug. "You should have told me sooner..." He whispered. As he held you close. Even though he never showed it often, you really were everything to him.

We all obviously know how ghost felt when you told him you were pregnant. he wasn't excited or mad about it, just anxious because well... you know. This mf traumatizing past So when you broke the news to him it took him by surprise, he wasn't expecting to feel a bit saddened by the news.

If we're being honest here a little tiny part of him did like the idea of you taking care of his child. maybe, just maybe... a beautiful family of his own, like he's always dreamed of before he got in a war. but he never thought he was worthy enough to be a father.

Ghost blames himself for the miscarriage thinking he was the reason or he did something to cause this. And because of it he pushed himself away from you for a while.

He didn't even bother to try to sleep for a while after you told him. He would stay up countless of nights watching you sleep, making sure you got rest. Because he knew the toll it took on your body from all of this.

Anytime any of the other 141 members would ask him about the baby. he would either glare at them or tell them to shut it, he honestly did not like talking about it. Or even think about it. It really did hurt him in a way he was not expecting

He puts his hands on your knees, forcing you to look at him. "I- I'm so... So sorry." He says looking at you, before he pulls you into a tight hug. and you could feel the tears running from his eyes.

In the beginning it was really hard for the both of you, but especially him. to go or even be around all the baby stuff you guys got. he barely stepped foot in the baby's room/let anybody open it for the first few months.

It was extremely difficult for him to break the news to his team, because he felt like a coward for leaving you alone for that long, feeling like it was all his fault since he wasn't there for those long months, he's the reason you lost the baby.

After that it was really hard for him to be around kids. because he would always imagine what it would be like if it was his kid.

Even after the baby was gone you would sometimes catch him talking to his dad about baby stuff/asking for advice. and Elias would always look at him, And ask him. "are you guys expecting again?" It always hurt hesh deep down when he told him no. that wasn't the case, he just... Found some comfort in talking about it he supposed.

You would often find him in the early hours of the morning, talking to Riley about all the little scenarios in his head if the baby were here. or how he blames himself for not being there the day you lost the baby. Okay him talking to Riley about the baby tho😭

You were in your kitchen making dinner, waiting for your boyfriend to come home. Today was your second week, check up. You had walked in that building with high hopes, and left feeling like you lost a piece of yourself. As you were chopping up vegetables, you hear your boyfriend come in through the door. letting out a long breath you didn't know you had. "Hey Bonnie!" he says in a grunt. as he drops his bag down on the floor, walking up to you. hugging you from behind, putting his massive hands on your little baby bump. "How's my 2 babies doing?" He says cheekily, leaving countless of kisses on your neck. "Uhh... We're good" you say nervously, trying your hardest to hide all the pain you felt today. you want to at least have dinner before you have to tell him. But he quickly notices, he always does. "Mhm... How did the appointment go? Do we know the gender of this little thing right here" he humps happily. As he gently rubs your bump. But you don't respond. You pretend as if you didn't hear him, as it is still too painful to talk about. There's a long pause, as he taps your shoulder again. "How. Did. The. Appointment. Go.?" He says now starting to get impatient. Struggling to find the words, he pulls you tighter into his touch. making you forget what you're doing. "Is everything okay?" He says softly starting to get worried. "No..." You burst into tears and this makes him worried. "What happened... Talk to me Bonnie." He demands, but in the most gentle Way. "W- we... Don't have the baby anymore" you cry. He hugs you from behind even tighter, as he starts to get emotional. "Fuck!.." where the only words he could get out, before he buried his face in your shoulder. grieving this lost with you.

You weren't expecting soap to take it as hard as he did. But when he found out he got depressed for a couple of weeks. it took a lot to get him out of that depression state. Even some of the guys were getting worried about him.

The first person he told was surprisingly price. even though price doesn't have kids of his own. he was very supportive, and knew exactly what to say. You were thankful for the captain because he had help soap get out of his depression. and had actually given him a couple weeks off, so he could take time for himself, and you of course. Because we all know ghost would have been like try for another 💀

Even though you guys had the lost baby, soap would still rub, and talk to your belly all the time, it was just a comforting thing for him. almost like a habit. and you'd have to remind him the baby isn't there anymore. And his response would always be. "Oh, Yea' I knew that..."

Surprisingly not short after. soap has started coming around and bringing up kids more and more. trying to bring up the idea of trying for another. Because now all that fills his mind is the idea of you being a mom. the idea of domesticated life with you, away from the battleground. is something he's starting to crave more and more.

On the nights that soap couldn't sleep, you would always find him in the nursery that was supposed to be the baby's room. Zoning out while holding one of the baby's books/onesies. it would always break your heart each time, because these were the rare moments where you could see the pure care, and love, he had for this baby.

You and your husband were on your way for your second week, ultrasound appointment. So excited and happy. You guys have been trying for so long to have a baby, And before you know it, your guys's dream is coming true. you're getting called back into an ultrasound room, where you would be finding out the gender before too long. As you lay on the table nervous, your husband sitting right next to you holding your hand. "Mi amor everything's going to go great! I know it." He says, having the biggest smile on his face. this was the day he had been so excited for. Soon one of the nurses comes in and begins the ultrasound. but soon all of that excitement had died down, when the look on her face quickly changed and she had excused herself from the room. Leaving you with this gut-wrenching feeling, of horrified. You look to your husband and both of you shared the same expression. "I'm sure it's fine" he says, trying to assure you. but you both know... Before you know it one of the doctors comes in. and the look on their face is not anything good. "Ms and Mr parry. I really hate to break this bad news but.... It seems that you had a miscarriage..." the doctor says, and it takes everything you had not to breakdown right then and there. "I'm sorry for your loss. One of the nurses will be in with you soon to go over everything" she says before she leaves you 2 alone. Looking to your husband, he's trying his hardest not to cry too. "I- how.... We've done everything we should have." He says, trying to find some sort of an excuse. Gripping your hand even tighter, he gets up and leans a kiss on your forehead. "We've tried so hard... I just don't understand." He whispers in your ear. As he held your hand tight.

When Rudy found out he took a couple weeks off work to be with you. As you were now his only priority, and he had to make sure you were okay.

You and Rudy had actually kept this secret for a while. as you guys were grieving a horrible loss, you'd preferred to stay quiet. You decided not to tell anybody not even Alejandro until you couldn't keep it a secret anymore.

A few weeks after. he had actually called Alejandro to take all of the baby stuff for him and his wife since they were expecting. and a part of Rudy was jealous, even though he was happy to see his best friend starting his own family. a part of him couldn't help but ask himself why? why it couldn't have been you and him.

Anytime you and him would go to the store and if there was a baby section he would always point to it and go "look mi amor... Maybe it's a sign for us to try again?" He would say hopeful, because this man really deep down just wanted to be a dad.

Something that you didn't know was Rudy always kept an ultrasound picture in his vest pocket. Even now after the baby was gone he still does. it's a little reminder for him of what he's fighting for. even if he didn't get the chance to meet that little of bundle of joy in this life, He hopes he can in another.

When Ghost is home his wife doesn't have to lift a finger. He loves the idea of a "traditional marriage" but he's actually a traditional man. He comes home and and does any repairs you need on the house. He's going to buy groceries, doing car maintenance, landscaping the lawn, doing the laundry. Anything his little wifey needs.

Any hobbies she has are always encouraged and paid for by Ghost. Constantly sending packages full of cooking supplies, yarn, stationary, and paints to the house while he's gone. He always wears the things she makes for him. They are bundled in blankets she knitted while eating brownies she baked. All while you are going through the scrapbook you had made while he was on deployment.

He refuses to argue with his wife. A firm believer in "happy wife, happy life". Anything his wifey doesn't like or want to do doesn't happen. She doesn't like his tie, he's changing. She doesn't feel like going out, he's helping her out of her dress and making them hot cocoa. Nothing she can do can upset him. He's so in love with her that anything she does is perfect to him.

Elias Walker: 

- Elias loves in a quiet way, he likes placing his hand on people he deeply cares for, your shoulder, forearm, head, back, etc.

- Making eye contact is alot for him, as he does the same with his sons when he needs to just check on you or them, or even his teammates. Just a glance or long eye contact to ensure everyone is alright is a habit he has. Even if it's a quick glance, he just likes checking over to ensure you are alright.

- He gives shoulder pats, head pats or back pats when moving past you or whenever he just finished talking to you and moves to end the conversation. Like a sorta ‘alright, you're done’.

- If he thinks you need to hear words of encouragement or praise, he will offer it. He's very amazing with words, and knows exactly what to say. He tries his best to communicate even if he thinks he's doing a shitty job at it, it usually comes across good.

- Likes doing small acts, taking you out for snacks randomly, taking you out for walks or for car rides. He tries very hard to attempt to make time for you despite being pretty busy.

- He doesn't mind touch, he's alright with hugs (if you don't know each other well, It will be as awkward and stiff as Logan's hugs) but if you do know each other well it will be comfortable and relaxing. He's willing to hug you as long as you want.

David 'Hesh' Walker: 

- He's very physical, head pats, shoulder pats, back pats anything, especially while walking past or over to you.

- He does small acts quite often, you need to do something you don't really want to do, he got it. You look exhausted? He lets you sleep in and does whatever tasks he deems will make you happy when you wake up.

- He likes to take you along on random tasks, like taking Riley for a walk, or just sitting outside with you while playing fetch with Riley. He likes sitting and just talking with you for a while.

- He's very understanding, if you just need to talk, he's there. Listening to every word, he understands you, even if you don't speak a word. He just had an understanding of most people he's close to.

- He's very good at communicating, able to tell you how he feels, (maybe he would chat it over with Elias or Logan, just to get his thoughts straight and be able to fully think over what he wants to say). You would be able to chat just about anything with him, he does indeed love being relied on, as he has been relied on all his life and he isn't sure how to feel when people don't rely on him.

Logan Walker: 

- Logan likes bringing gifts or small trinkets to people he cares for. Random stuff he picks up while on his missions to just spotting something in a shop and if he thought you would like it? He'd buy it.

- He just likes people watching as well, like people assume he's just zoned out but no, he's just people watching those he cares for. It's a bit intimidating with the way he stares  (accidentally glares) at you while making sure no one was messing with you.

- He likes making sure you can protect yourself if needed, either making you spar him (if you could) or just punch into his hands to show you how to effectively knock someone out. You knock out one of the guys accidentally? He just gives a thumbs up with a smile.

- I doubt he's a fan of public PDA, but if you two are together and someone else is talking, he might rest his forearm or elbow on your shoulder or head.

- He just brings you the most random shit sometimes, could be one of Hesh's pencils (this habit annoys Hesh like crazy, as he just always finds the supplies he needs gone.) And you always somehow have it as Logan just keeps taking from Hesh, and keeps giving it to you. This is an endless cycle of ‘who's even is that’ between you three, as somehow just all your stuff gets mixed up, no one knows who's is whos anymore. (Even Riley sometimes just messes up Hesh’s stuff and lays it by your or Logan’s beds, Logan always gets blamed though, neither the dog or Logan can defend themselves) 

Keegan P. Russ: 

- Keegan Is a bit rough with how he shows he cares for others, he speaks up for you despite usually being quite quiet. He'll make snide comments at anyone to try and make you laugh.

- Keegan calls you idiot or stupid affectionately as he finds it amusing if you are ‘offended’ or not. He doesn't actually mean it unless you do indeed do something stupid in front of him.

-If he notices you are cold, he'll toss his jacket over you, (your lap/shoulders) but that's the best you're getting from him.

- He's not into public PDA, might shove you off if you get too touchy but in private he's more willing to get close and personal, his chin would rest on your shoulder or head willingly Rest his eyes for a moment to just allow his body to relax and unstiffen from his usual on guard body.

- He's willing to put in work, you need something fixed? Keegan knows how to fix it (if not he'll learn).

- He's not really phased by much, it's hard to tell if he likes or dislikes something, but usually if you both are close he'll put up with it most of the time, Keegan silently does this to show he does care.

- He likes quality time, it would usually just be sitting in the same room, both of you doing your own things or just sitting or standing next to each other without talking.

Thomas A. Merrick: 

- Merrick is a bit of a mixed bag with how he shows he cares for you, reassurance is a big thing for him even if his words comes off a bit blunt if he tries to tell you.

- If it's physical touch? He's a bit more relaxed with it, if you are upset and want no one to see, he would wrap his arm around your shoulder firmly, and pull you into his side to allow you ‘hide’ against him, to ensure no prying eyes could see you as he would rub your back.

- Merrick is indeed a bit ‘clingy’, unconsciously liking to stay close to you but no one really voices it as he does it with anyone he is close to, his arm thrown over you shoulders or back, or his hand on your shoulder forearm. It basically could be just casual touch just about anywhere.

- He does like quiet moment as well, humming under his breath while you relax in the room he is a bit softer when no one else is about. He keeps things within work-mode and casually himself. He hums quite a bit when he is able to, usually you are the only one to hear him hum or sing a song under his breath when making breakfast in the mornings. He's far more relaxed out of work, not as aggressive so he's a sweetheart whenever around you.

- He does/says the most poetic stuff by accident, like sometimes he just says stuff that is very unique, compliments are usually like that. Compliments are a big thing for him, he enjoys making you happy, that's all that matters to him, if you're smiling, he's smiling.

Kick: 

- He likes spending quality time with you, talking about your interests, and his interests, telling jokes, or being snarky.

- Kick likes chatting about technology, codes, and anything he has a vast amount of knowledge in. If you also know about it? Even better. If you don't? Don't worry; you'll learn within a few hours just by him talking/rambling on.

- He likes telling you random absurd facts, like you see an animal and he just tells you the worst, idiotic thing about that animal. Oh, you see a specific car? You now know why it came to be, and any absurd fact from the people/person who invented it.

- He just loves teasing or messing with you, the most absurd ‘pranks’, moving your stuff around your room while you're away by one inch type stuff or putting a whoopee cushion under your mattress just to annoy you for a split moment. He finds this type of stuff hilarious even if he isn't around to see your reaction, just thinking about it makes him cackle.

Riley: (Yes, the dog) 

- If You are a part of Task Force Stalker/Team Ghosts, he protects you when you are near him, Logan or Hesh, ensuring to keep his favorite people near him, or in his sights. If a Federation soldier attempts to attack you from behind? Don't worry, your trusted dog will tackle the guy and ensure you are safe.

- Even if you aren't, he's willing to be a cuddle buddy and protect you and the house if Hesh tells him to.

- Fetch, Riley enjoys bringing you a ball randomly, getting you to throw it or put it in a throw machine for him. He can play for hours, but usually only plays around with people he genuinely likes. If he doesn't like someone he just sits there and stares at them like they are stupid until Hesh calls him. - Riley lays on his back in front of you, expecting pets, even if you are allergic you are not getting away from giving him attention. If You try and avoid him, the dog gives you the biggest side eye…

Animals, CoD Ghosts HC’s

What animals/creatures are the Ghosts?

A/N🪶: These are just my options! Feel free to send me yours. These are for all the Ghosts, including former, deceased and current within the Ghosts game. This list will include Rorke, Ajax and Elias Walker. Also this is going to be formatted differently from the first HC, Natural Disasters.

David “Hesh” Walker - German Shepard

Hesh is loyal, probably to a fault. Willing to do whatever it takes to protect the ones he loves and get the job done, even if he gets injured in the process.

^ Bringing me to my next point, Hesh is very protective of his family. The mere idea of anyone getting hurt is enough to get this man baring his teeth and attacking.

In the Natural Disasters list, I mentioned that Hesh, according to Urban Dictionary, means courageous, another trait of German Shepards.

One more trait that applies is also Shepards, really any animal in general, being alert as well. This is a given, though, considering he is a soldier in active war zones especially with such effective and deadly enemies. He needs to make every second count and can’t afford to slack in these areas.

I should mention that Shepards are obedient yet stubborn. Hesh knows when to listen to his superiors but he’ll easily let you know when he doesn’t agree with something. Think about when Merrick, Keegan and Elias (mask on) picked them up and Hesh was yelling about their dad still being caught in the crossfire. Merrick got Hesh to sit his ass down but Hesh was clearly not happy about it, understandably.

Logan Walker - Mountain Lion

Mountain lions can’t roar and Logan can’t, or —depending on your headcanons, consciously chooses not to— talk.

Logan finds other methods of communicating, for example, when he and Keegan were about to bust into the room to get to Ajax, Logan used his fingers to count down.

The National Wildlife Federation website says “Mountain lions are territorial and solitary. They use pheromones and physical signs… to define their territory.” (Mountain Lion, Fun Fact.)

Mountain lions are known for being very stealthy predators, again a given considering the fact we’re talking about the Ghosts.

The Mountain Lion Foundation describes them as being relentless hunters which almost connects it to the wiki quote for Logan that calls him a cold-blooded killer and an excellent soldier (CoD Ghosts: Wiki, Logan Walker, Personality.).

Elias T. “Scarecrow” Walker - Black Bear

Scary but not as scary as you may expect.

While Elias is certainly ready to do his job at any point no matter how bloody, he still has his weak spots, that being his sons.

He’s caring but while be stoic when necessary. He’s not territorial but will protect his friends and family when the time calls for it.

Also one detail I find cute about bears is that they have DNA relation to dogs, albeit very distant. I like to call bears giant murder puppies :D

Thomas A. Merrick - Grizzly Bear

I want to say that grizzly bears are often considered to be more dangerous than black bears and more likely to attack if given a reason to.

Both grizzlies and black bears can charge but where black bears may shift away at the last second and avoid attacking, grizzlies may continue to charge and attack their target (once again I’m thinking about Merrick punching Rorke because it just makes me laugh, that man was not ready).

Of course, Merrick is dangerous but he knows when the time is and isn’t appropriate despite his temper. Merrick is a big dude too, so I think this works (“stocky”).

Gabriel T. Rorke - Polar Bear

Once he has his sights on you, you’re already gone.

Hehe, polar bears are mighty dangerous.

Polar bears are bigger and stronger sometimes, but other time grizzlies and polars can be about the same in build.

Polar bears are more likely to attack considering they have fewer resources for food and typically eat a lot as well.

Fun fact: Polar bears don’t hibernate.

^^^ Piggy backing off that, Rorke doesn’t seem to be resting. He’s always planning something, whether it be a plan B or future plans.

He’s a very large and commanding presence who will find alternatives when desperate, willing to do what he must to make sure his plans are completed.

Keegan P. Russ - Leopard

Fast, sneaky. You don’t know he’s there until it’s too late.

Fun Fact: Leopards can roar. Keegan, though very quiet, stills speaks and intimidates with his voice when necessary.

Leopard’s are solitary and ambush hunters, I don’t need to explain this but I will.

If you recall, Rorke had a lot of trouble getting his nasty ass hands on Keegan after kidnapping the Walker family and Merrick.

His first objective was to find Keegan. In my eyes, it’s because he knows that as long as Keegan is alive, Rorke isn’t safe.

Like many animals, leopards care for one another, seen with families. I think Keegan is a very caring person but he avoids showing it often, which is fair.

Keegan continuously checks in with Logan throughout the game. In the underwater mission, he made sure Logan was okay. If you look closely when walking behind Keegan on the submarine, Keegan turns his head back to us briefly.

Alex V. “Ajax” Johnson - Elephant

Ajax is smart and powerful, I want to say he’s very determined.

In the short time we knew him, he was very stubborn as well. He didn’t give up anything and held out for a while. Though he was a lower rank than the other characters.

In his last moments, he made sure the last Ghosts knew what was happening in a last ditch effort to keep them safe and aware.

It’s hard to pin down super specific traits due to the fact that elephants can exhibit many and there’s not much we can give to Ajax.

I want to say that Ajax was more laid-back with his friends and comrades, leaving his bold energy for those who don’t deserve his respect ( insert the iconic scene where Ajax puts up his middle finger right at the Federation soldier ).

Like all the animals and characters on this list, Ajax was dangerous when necessary. He wasn’t spending every moment trying to be scary or intimidating or anything. He’s confident in himself and his abilities and he doesn’t need anyone else to speak up for him.

The respect we hear given to him by the Ghosts after his death was well deserved.

Kick - Monitor Lizard

Some kind of reptile (I was so tempted to put him as a Gila Monster but I can’t do that to my best boi).

I’d say probably a water monitor.

These lizards, which can grow to 9 feet btw, don’t surprise their prey, but “actively pursue” them.

While these creatures have venom, but it’s not necessarily fatal.

Kick is definitely dangerous when he’s needed but it’s not like a “I am the grim reaper.” type of thing, it’s more like “I have a job to do and you won’t be in my way.”.

These creatures are known for being intelligent which lines up with Kick’s likely (not confirmed?) role as an information specialist.

The main thing that doesn’t quite line up is the fact that water monitors can be friendly whereas Kick is, if not more stand-offish, then solitary. I do imagine that he eventually opens up, but he’s definitely more comfy with his computers.

Neptune - Owl

I imagine that Neptune, being one of the original Ghosts, is very wise, though more subtle. I can’t think of what kind of owl he’d be, maybe snowy.

I mostly just wanted to include him here. Feel free to add onto him.

Riley… Riley

The most dangerous creature ever, himself.

Pros and Cons of Dating Hesh and Logan Walker

Hesh

Pros

He is incredibly sentimental

"What's this?" You smiled one afternoon, noticing a small Polaroid and note on his nightstand. Upon closer inspection you saw yourself staring back, a picture he had taken one afternoon years ago when you two had first started dating.

Humming in response, he glanced away from the game he was playing to look. A smile breaking out on his face.

"That is the first picture I have of you since we started dating. Underneath is the first letter I wrote you, but never sent" 

His ears turned varying shades of red when you asked to read it, curious as to what his lovestruck brain came up with.

That night ended with you using his lap as a pillow while he continued gaming. Giving you the occasional kiss or running a hand over your hair between matches; while you read the words written in his boyish writing over and over.

Acts of service KING; and incredibly thoughtful about it too

You're cold and having a hot shower to warm up? He's grabbing your pjs and towel to throw them in the dryer to keep you nice and toasty after you get out.

He's also sitting in the bathroom with a bag of chips and a pop hoping to catch a glimpse of your soapy body if you'd be so kind.

Feeling sick? Mama Hesh at your service. Making sure you have tissues, a garbage can, home-cooked meals and the proper medication.

Feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities? How can he help, what can he do? At the very least he's right there beside you, offering ways to break down the big overwhelming tasks into smaller, more manageable ones.

His brain holds an endless supply of fun facts, most of which you'll likely never use

Most of these relate to the world wars, or cars he grew up around. But every so often he'll throw out a random:

"The end of a shoelace is called an aglet" just to keep you on your toes

Cons

Dead silent when half asleep. Combine this with his inability to sleep well without you? Good luck.

You were standing in the bathroom, brushing your teeth and getting ready for bed. The house was shut down for the night, lights (outside of the bathroom) off, doors locked, all that was left was your nightly routine then cuddling with your boyfriend. 

Who had fallen asleep hours before you, exhausted from work this morning.

Which would explain why you jumped and almost choked on the toothpaste in your mouth when you heard him softly speak from the doorway.

Incoherent mumbles about missing you, not getting the same sleep when you're not there to cuddle, and when are you coming to bed?

Spitting the foam out of your mouth, you responded with a "I need to tie a bell around your neck or something. Let me finish up here and we'll go to bed"

Spontaneous in a not great way.

It's not unheard of for your text chains to look like:

I was thinking, we could get a house goat. Theyr great little weed machines, cute, maybe cuddly if we train them right

David, you live 5 minutes from the pier. You barely have a lawn, and the goat would eat the underwear you leave on the bathroom floor.

Assuming you didn't burn your dick off, I'd turn around and walk out.

For some reason, he's a cougar magnet (and has grown to hate it)

Let's use the first time it happened as an example...

"I can't wait" you smiled over at your boyfriend, the two of you sitting in an arena waiting for the main act to come on.

As he was about to respond, a voice from his right spoke up. Asking if he's seen this band before, and if he would be dancing when they come on. The woman, possibly tipsy but clearly closer to Keegan or Ajax's age smiled over at your boyfriend. Finding quite a bit of interest in his answers.

Hesh being, well Hesh fell into easy conversation. Politely entertaining her questions as you let yourself fade into the background. That was until you heard:

"You're such a baby! That explains the babyface" eyebrows raising as she laughed a bit too hard at this. Glancing over, you smiled and discreetly placed your hand on his. 

Eyes bouncing between the two of you, her jaw fell slack as she realized. With a quick apology she ended the conversation and left you two alone for the night.

Hesh later asked if you got the same strange vibes from the nice lady. You had to take a minute before answering, as you were laughing so hard.

Logan

Pros

Very creative and open to date ideas. Anything is an adventure when you're together.

Dates including, but not limited to:

1). A rage room

"You taught that toaster who's boss. Is it just me or do you feel lighter now? Like things are balanced in the world.

2). A themed movie night (right down to the snacks)

It was his idea, but you insisted that you both make the snacks. Cue icing being smeared on each other's faces and other chaos throughout the kitchen. Hearts full and bellies sore from laughter.

3). A target/shop date night challenge

"And a fun snack!" You pulled out a the bags of bizzarw candy you bought for your boyfriend. Surprised when he merely held up one finger and turned on the TV.

"The name of the skin is Snack, and I know you play as this character"

4). Nerf gun battles around your house

You two may or may not have played strip nerf battle once or twice.

A sponge for information (especially about people) - which proves to be very helpful for birthdays and holidays

Holiday shopping is incredibly easy, the two of you walk hand in hand while Logan has the list he's compiled on his phone.

Hesh has been talking about maybe getting Riley a proper grooming one day -- but can't justify the price when he easily does it at home. He mentioned this back in April, but Logan made a note and bought him a gift certificate for a free dog grooming this December.

Keegan mentioned that he really should update his headphones (partially due to Kick testing the limits of what noise canceling truly is). Logan kept this information until his birthday when he bought him a new pair.

Anything you'd mention liking, or thinking of he takes extra special note of. Any occasion, if he can either buy or bring you to something that makes you smile he feels like he's in his own personal paradise.

An incredible eye for decorating

For a younger guy living on his own, it was fairly unexpected. Appreciated, but unexpected.

He keeps his space tidy, organized and all around aesthetically pleasing. It's especially surprising since he doesn't care too much about a theme. Every part of his personality (and yours) he finds a way to blend into the masterpiece you call home.

He can totally look at a inspiration photo and change the theme and aesthetic to your home up with ease though.

Cons

Will get too focused on his task at hand sometimes (gaming especially) and forget to message back. He feels pretty bad about it though and does everything he can to make it up to you

Eyes scanning the screen, smirk widening as the message of victory flashed across the screen. Another mission complete. 

Reaching forward to grab a sip of the drink he had open, he froze for a brief second. 

It's been three hours. 

Grimacing, he flipped his phone to see your messages, unknowingly left unanswered. Some asking if he wanted to join you for dinner tonight. Dinner that was an hour and a half ago.

Game now forgotten, he dialed your number and laughed awkwardly when you responded. Knowing exactly what happened, again.

"I'll make it up to you, I'll make you dinner tomorrow night. Something nice"

If you're spending any time at his house, you need to go grocery shopping first. His fridge is 95% empty (minus energy drinks and pop), and his freezer is half pizza rolls.

Eyebrow raising as you noticed the barren state of his fridge, closing the door slowly you called out to him.

"Do you just not eat?" You laughed, gesturing toward the wasteland he was calling a fridge. Watching as he raised an amused eyebrow.

"Of course I eat" freezer door now open, the boxes of pizza rolls and pre-made meals staring back at you. A sigh escaping your lips as you reached over to close the freezer door, then grab the keys to his front door. "What's going on?"

"We need to go grocery shopping, Lo. For real food"

So laid back and open about things he sometimes lacks an opinion (totally not calling myself out with this as well). While he truly doesn't mind any option, he also isn't keen on choosing

"Where do you want to eat?" You asked, fingers laced with your boyfriends as the two of you walked down the street. 

"I'm open to just about anything" he shrugged, "whatever you want"

Stopping dead in the road you looked over at him, repeating your question once more. Only to sigh when you received the same answer.

"I really don't mind where we eat, I'll find something I like on any menu" he lightly chuckled.

Eyebrows raised, you continued slowly blinking at him until he offered your favourite restaurant with a shrug. 

"Good, thank you for choosing"

“alright, cheeky” he likes calling out your attitude, especially when you’re on your period. knows calling you cheeky will get you to stop talking back as your cheeks warm with a combination of embarrassment and arousal. you’re tucking your face in his neck to hide your feelings as he chuckles, pulling you in further, never letting you go.
