I'm living on the hill that Jason didn't get all his memories back because if he died. If he remembered everything including getting back his experiences and battle techniques/stratefys/etc, EVERYONE WOULD BE FUCKED. yknow maybe CHB's problems are caused by the fact that camp is canonically filled with cursed items. just like. lying around.

There's an entire short story about some like cursed amulet or whatever. The Big House attic is full of old quest trophies. There's random magical items just lying around in the camp store and stuffed away in Bunker 9 for who knows how long. There's a random shed of both magic and nonmagical weapons behind cabin 6 and some of it is randomly ridiculously old. Nico's cursed mythomagic statuette from the Extremely Cursed Junkyard Of The Gods is somewhere. Why is all of this just everywhere.

Do you ever think about Camp Half-Blood’s reaction to Jason, specifically from those who remember Luke?

When they see him from behind, watching over some of the younger demigods and giving them advice, do they feel the urge to shove him away so he can’t bring any more to his side?

What about Thalia? How her baby brother she thought was dead shows up looking like the boy who had protected her, traveled with her, only to later try to kill her, just over a month after he died?

Does Luke’s voice ring in Annabeth’s ears when Jason calls out battle plans? Though it's in a different language, the tone of a leader surpasses translation.

When Percy spars with Jason, how many times does he expect to see golden eyes facing him?

Jason call himself "son of lupa" when he's in a battle and feel confident. The memory that he is part of Lupa's pack is more important and impactful for him than being a son of Jupiter.

In those moments, there's a twinkle in his eyes. A victorious smile, the aura of a wolf ready to devour anyone's throat with he's teeth.

But it's also his sweeter side. Protective, faithful, affectionate. He is Lupa's son when he fights, When he protects Leo and Piper with claws and teeth, when he trains with Reyna, when he takes care of Nico, when he pulls Percy and Frank into a sleeping pile, When he leans against Annabeth as they talk about battlefield strategy, when he snuggles and protects Hazel during nightmares. It's his wolf side, his essence

He introduces himself as "the son of Jupiter" at camp. It's empty and stressful, just like he sees being the king's son

a/n: thanatos is literally the personification of death i'm so hyped for this! also these headcanons are a little bit short because for some reason i was totally blanking on thanatos kids, but i think that i got some pretty good headcanons in there (:

thanatos kids are the definition of badass

they're naturally very intimidating

i mean, their father is literally the personification of death, so there's like... something unsettling about them

spirits kinda follow them around

it's very common for thanatos kids to have been bullied when they were younger, but also the bullying doesn't last long, because they can get a spirit to knock something over near them or something

thanatos kids are very untrusting, because the world has been pretty cruel to them

on the wikipedia page, it says that thanatos is the personification of peaceful death, but i'm not sure how true that is since it's wikipedia, but basically what i was thinking is that like thanatos kids can always tell when someone is going to die of natural causes, just like in their mind, if that makes sense

like a canon event for a thanatos kid is having a grandparent or older family member start acting differently, and the kid immediately knowing that they're gonna die

their mortal parent definitely could never look at them the same after the sick individual died

i kind of headcanon that there are lots of thanatos kids that have weird relationships with their mortal parent because of this reason

like there's lots of trouble with people seeing thanatos kids as "spawns of satan" if that makes sense, and so they're kinda shunned

and yes, thanatos kids are definitely badass, but they also have a sort of general unsettling sort of vibe

exactly like how hades kids can be kind of unsettling at times

same thing with thanatos kids, although it's a lot more subtle because thanatos is a minor god

but there's just something about thanatos kids that put mortals on edge

(it's the gentle reminder that death is always possible at any given moment, and being near a thanatos child, the child of literally the personification of death, makes this reminder a lot more fresh in people's minds whenever they're around)

other demigods generally aren't as affected by this, because just existing as a demigod means you can die anywhere and anyway, so being around that reminder is just sort of more of a friendly reminder like, "hey! i'm a child of thanatos, remember to look out for monsters! (:"

for some reason i feel like thanatos kids would get along really well with hecate kids

they both give off kind of spooky vibes, i feel like they would totally be friends

they would go allllllll out during spooky season, i guarantee it

like halfway through september they start announcing to camp that it's officially spooky season

thanatos kids are very intense

but a quiet kind of intense, where they have like unintentionally intense stares

thanatos kids also have very big feelings

when they get sad, they get sad

when they get happy, they get so elated it looks almost as if they're about to take flight

that's just kind of the pattern with thanatos kids

they definitely had explosive tantrums as a kid

thanatos kids also tend to be sort of closed off, and kinda hangout with each other more than anything

also for some reason i kinda headcanon thanatos as a bit of a slut so i feel like there are a lot of thanatos kids for like no reason

Some of my ideas and little headcanons for the hermit/empires/life pjo au

Jimmy and Joel constantly argue over the fact that Joel's dating Lizzie. Jimmy and Joel are half brothers through their godly parent, but Jimmy and Lizzie are half siblings through their mortal parent. The argument always goes something like "Stop getting mad that i'm dating Lizzie" "But but MY BROTHER IS DATING MY SISTER" "SHE'S NOT MY SISTER, SHE'S YOUR SISTER!!" "IT'S STILL WEIRD" "NOT MY PROBLEM"

Scott acts like a parent sometimes and is really good with younger campers. Someone asked him about it once and he responded "Oh, i have a little brother". His little brother is Acho, who is mortal.

Zloy, Pix, and Lyarrah run this camp news report. It's just a bunch of stuff about drama that's happening, any mishaps or stuff that needs to be fixed, and introducing the new campers. Zloy gets all the information by listening in the shadows. No one is safe.

The Athena cabin kids have matching t-shirts (not the camp half-blood ones). Xisuma and Pix's say "I'm surrounded by idiots" and Owen and Grian's say "I am that idiot"

The Victors are just capture the flag winners (Aka, whoever got the flag and brought it back to base)

why is cabin 9 specifically so cursed. what's up with Hephaestus and curses. Beckendorf dies and they get cursed. Fire-power Hephaestus kids are bad luck. Their dad owns the Junkyard of the Gods (everything in it is SUPER cursed). There's random cursed items just left abandoned in Bunker 9. Apparently Hephaestus/Aphrodite/Ares relationships are inherently cursed. who hurt them.
