You crossed your arms as you looked at him, “And you’ll stay out of trouble while we’re here, right?” Vash rubbed the back of his neck and let out a nervous laugh, “Oh come on! You know I try to! It’ll be a quick trip, honestly!” He clasps his hands together, giving you a pout with those big puppy dog eyes.

Who are you to resist? With a ‘tsk’ and an eye roll you let him drag you into town. 

It's barely been five minutes since you’ve entered the town when Vash gets roped in on helping the local sheriff, you offer to go with him but he just dismisses you and says he’ll find you later. You are about to argue when he gives you a gentle smile and a pat on the head. At that point the argument ties on your tongue, and before you can embarrass yourself you just agree and run off. 

Which leads you here sitting at the bar of the local saloon, enjoying a drink or two. You sigh, leaning your head down on the bar, being alone with your thoughts is never good. Lately your mind has been drifting off to warm and fuzzy feelings of Vash. You're scared to figure out what that all means, so you’re choosing to ignore it. 

You hear two men sit down at the bar; you glance at them before ordering another drink. You hold the drink in your hand, swirling it around as you start to zone out.

“Did you hear that Stampede guy is in town?” One of the men says it draws your attention, but you keep your face passive. “The Humanoid Typhoon? That guy is nothing but trouble.” answers the second. Your grip tightens on your drink, you hate that nickname it's so unfair when they call him that. They have no idea who the real Vash is, you know you should just let it go. Vash always wants to see the good in everyone. You, on the other hand, have a much harder time with that. 

“He's got a bounty too; 6 million double dollars. I say we go for it before he destroys the town.” You slam your drink down on the bar counter hard, startling the two men next you. With a glare you look at them, “If I were you two, I would stop talking.” 

So, you were a little protective over Vash, someone had to be. “A stranger like yourself shouldn't stick their nose in other towns' business.” You roll your eyes, “That man is a danger to us, brings nothing but unfortunate everywhere he goes.” 

Your heart aches for Vash, you stand suddenly grabbing the man closest to you by the collar of his shirt, “You have no idea what you're even talking about!” You snap, anger taking over. “Vash does everything in his power to protect people like you, scum that doesn't even deserve it. You’d be lucky to meet someone as incredible and amazing as he is.” You know that you certainly felt lucky to have met Vash.

You drop the man suddenly, eyes wide, taking a step back. Oh God you were an idiot, truly and deeply. Your heart rate picks up, how could you have been so blind? But before he can reach you, you are suddenly pulled back, your back hitting a firm chest with a hand on your shoulder. 

“Whoa, now fellas let's take it easy!” Vash’s cheerful voice breaks the tension, you look up shocked to see Vash’s easy-going smile, but something is off about it. His jaw is set tightly and his hand trembles on his shoulder. Your face heats up, how long had he been standing there?

The man scoffs, “You should keep this one on a leash.” He points at you as you sneer at him, moving to take a step forward. You're stopped by Vash’s hand tightening on your shoulder, you glance at Vash, as he narrows his eyes. “Funny, I’ll keep that in mind.” 

You're about to snap something at Vash, but he swiftly begins manhandling you to throw you over his shoulder, you let out a shriek of protest at the movement. Gripping the back of his jacket like a lifeline, as he carries you out of the saloon

“Vash put me down!” You yell at him; your heart is beating way too fast and your face feels out. He does put you down, he does it so suddenly that you nearly lose your footing until he places his arms on your biceps to settle you. He doesn’t let go, but instead hangs his head. 

You are still angry, “You should have let me handle those guys, who do they think they are talking all that nonsense-” 

“Stop, please.” Vash interrupts you, his voice quiet and sad. “It doesn’t matter.” His voice breaks a bit, you can tell he's probably going to start crying. The anger melts away quickly after that, “Well it matters to me.” you admit softly, 

He looks up at you, tears forming in his bright blue eyes and your heart skips a beat. “Why? You don't need to defend me; I’ve heard it all before. Honestly.” He says this with a light laugh.

“Well, it doesn’t make it okay!” You snap, and he flinches back startled, dropping your arms but you don't let him get far as you grab him by his biceps taking a step closer. “You give so much to everyone you meet, your kind, you see the good in everyone even when they don't deserve and you give people hope, me included. So yeah, I'm going to defend you every time no matter what, Because I care about you!”

Vash’s eyes widen, and you feel like you’ve maybe overstepped, also did you have to throw in that part at the end? Your face heats up, and you’re looking everywhere but at Vash’s face. Dropping his arms, you turn around, “Okay, I'm going to bury myself in a hole bye Vash.” You turn around quickly, ready to run off but before you can Vash grabs you from behind slamming your back into his chest and hugging you around the shoulders. 

He rests his face in the crook of your neck, “I don't deserve you.” Vash mutters into your neck, you blush brightly, and you sigh smiling softly, “You do you really do Vash.”  You’re not sure on how long Vash holds you, but you’re not complaining. You’re a little embarrassed to have been so open with your feelings, Vash can be a little dense so you doubt he’ll look deeper into your words. 

Which is fine, just being like this together is enough. Your whole-body freezes, when you feel Vash place a gentle kiss on top of your head, “I care about you too.” You were going to die, your pretty sure you blacked out or at least your legs gave out. “Whoa!” you hear Vash cry out moving his arms to keep you steady and, on your feet, “Are you okay?” 

No, you really weren't, you let out a yelp as Vash spins you so you’re facing him. He leaned in close, too close! You shoved him back, leaving your hands on his chest and bowing your head. “Just… hold on.” You focus on composing yourself, you look up as you feel Vash place his hands over yours and he’s looking at you with such a sincere smile it makes you want to cry. 

“It's okay I get it, you’re okay…” a pause, he looks unsure, “We’re okay.” Your eyes widen, and then soften he's giving you an out. You relax, you need to work through these feelings first by yourself and then you two could figure out where to go from there. 

You smile softly at him, “Yeah, we’re okay.”

We know Papyrus, and all of us would absolutely give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he was innocent. But Seam and Jevil don't know the Papyrus we know.

All Seam sees is an absolute mountain of bodies and an state of utter decay all around him.. with suspiciously the last man standing being a very clearly mentally unstable skeleton.. would you assume he was innocent?

Add onto that all the stress Seam was under, how unstable he was as well. Seam couldn't see the situation any other way and he was not taking any chances.

It seems Hanako isn't in good relations with him. After cleaning you wanted to say bye to him so you started searching for him ; you opened the door to the roof and found him there : he was sitting on the iron bars , watching the sky " Hanako !! Finally i found you , i wanted to say bye before i go ho- " Hanako turned his head towards you , he was shaking , his eyes red and puffy , signs that he was crying " hanako ...? everything went down hill after saving Aoi and Hanako with Teru , Yashiro , Akane and Kou. Teru wanted to exorcise Hanako without Yashiro knowing it , though Kou helped Yashiro so that she could run away with Hanako , because as he said to you , he promised her he would be by her side everytime , and you respected it , unlike Teru ... they had a fight and Teru said bad things to his little brother , this shook him a lot. He seems fine but you can see he's still hurt by his big brother's words ; you wanted to say something but knew that you had nothing to do with it , though watching Kou this low on energy was terrible. Teru wasn't at home so you decided to stay with your boyfriend and Tiara , you opened the door and noticed that the house was in so much silence ; you checked up on Tiara , finding her already asleep. Next was Kou ; you knocked on his door but there was no answer " Kou , im entering in the room !! " opening the door you found your lover sitting on the bed , with his raiteijou ( his weapon ) in his hands , head lowered down " Kou , are you okay ?? What are you doing .. " he didn't even moved , he just replied " [ name ] ... do you think im as weak as Nii-san says ?... " his head got up , revealing his eyes full of tears " Kou ... It's not much to know how to make her like this , she's more calm then before .. but that's not your shijima , so that's why you decided to confront her face to face. Lessons were over and you sprinted over to the art room , where she's usually to paint something , though she wasn't painting at all , she was staring at the last painting she made before she died , it wasn't like her to be watching that painting , wasn't that the cause of her rumor ?? " Mei !! What are you doing ? " she took a while to finally face you , she had a blank expression on her face " oh [ name ] .. did you come to visit me ... " " mhm ... actually , it's from a few weeks i see you spacing out easily , is everything alright with you Mei ? " she smiled weakly at you " of course im alright ! ". Mei was in fact not alright , after talking with her past self , her vision of herself changed completely , taking her to a crisis ; she didn't want you to get involved with her troubles tho. The morning was gentle to you as your eyes fluttered open. The soft pittering of the storm against the window panel doing its best to lull you back into a restful slumber in the early grey of the morning.

Had your eyes not awoken to see such a beautiful mess beside you, then maybe you would have found yourself sleeping the day away.

But he was here. And he was so beautiful.

You rolled over to face him fully, admiring how soft the delicate light came in through the window, using its magic to highlight the inhumane grace of your most beloved.

And within this beauty lay temptation, for all you wanted to do was touch him. To feel his skin and be held, but you would hold off. He rested so peacefully beside you that waking him would be blasphemous, a sin against god to disturb what was so peacefully sleeping.

So as quietly as you could, you reached your hand out and ran your fingers across a few of the wild strands that hid him from you, gently guiding them to behave.

He remained unmoving, snoring lightly and ever still in his rest.

God how you loved him.

With both his and your jobs combined (as well as his extracurricular nightly activities), the two of you were never really people with 'downtime' to spare. So whenever you found yourself together, all you could find yourself wanting to do was show him all of the adoration you had reserved throughout the week. On those days like today when you could do nothing but bask in the other's presence, you utilized your every opportunity to sit with the other and talk about everything that had happened. To eat together, sleep, and show a love that only he was allowed to know.

You slipped your fingers from his hair and as softly as you could, glided them down his back. Starting from his neck and down his spine. Worshipping every ounce of skin that graced your fingertips. The tenderness of your touch sending shivers across his form. And despite your gentle whisp of touches, you could feel as he began to stir.

He groaned almost inaudibly. You quickly retracted your hand, sitting up on your elbow, peeking over to see if he was awake.

Jean-Paul rolled over to the side and caught your gaze just as you had peeked over at him. You stayed silent, opting to wait for him to become fully conscious. You watched with such appreciation in your heart as he combed his fingers through his hair, sweeping the strands back and out of his face before he fully looked at you and smiled.

"You snore." You greeted.

He scoffed, it turning into a yawn, but couldn't help but smile back at you. The love he felt in his heart flared and sent waves of warmth through him. No one else on this planet would wake him like that, except you. His most treasured, you.

"And you talk in your sleep." He responded,

"Do not."

"Do too." He said, sitting up fully and stretching his back with a loud pop, before falling back onto the bed with a loud sigh, the stretch waking him up completely.

You turned your back towards him and fell limp onto his chest with a hand on your forehead. He recoiled at the impact, a chuckle coughing out from him.

"Well you snore worse than I talk."

He wrapped his arms around you and flipped you onto the other side of the bed, trapping you in his hold.

"Blasphemous. Besides its not me snoring, its Azrael."

You shoved at him giggling as you tried to escape.

"You cant blame him for everything."

"Can too." He started to pepper you in kisses as you fought to free yourself, his hair tickling you as your fighting spirit began to crack.

"Unhand me, vixen-" You giggled, pushing away at his chest, but failing to do so as he held onto you tighter.

"Its not me, its Azrael." He said, voice filled with a false concern. "Oh no, y/n! Youre trapped forever!" You started laughing harder as he rolled on top of you, your legs dangling in the air as he threw them onto his hips.

You quickly wrapped them around him and folded your arms around his back. He laughed at you and kissed along your jawline.

His kisses slowed and started to linger after he placed dozens of them. He got to your cheek, then the corner of your mouth, until he looked down at you. You stared back smiling, he bent down and captured your lips against his own. Trying his best to deliver to you how utterly enraptured he was with you.

Through you, Azrael found a god, and through you, Jean-Paul found a home.

I do think thor is being honest about how he thought the world of loki, but never enough to really look, to truly see his brother. never cared enough to dig deeper. and the mistakes loki made have just made it easier for thor to further ignore the deeper problems with his brother. you can love someone dearly, but still never truly see them. I wonder if knowing of thor's love makes it better or worse for loki. to be so loved, but for it to still not be enough to have been seen, to have been helped at all. or easier for it to be a lie and never loved at all, for it makes more sense to loki, because if you loved him why would you never dig deeper? why could you not see what was wrong? what was being done to him? how he felt? maybe that's why he was so adamant in the past, brushing thor's words away because otherwise that would mean even then it just wasnt enough. and it's more familiar to him too. the feeling he sits in, the knowledge that he's not loved or understood, that those around him think so little of him. and sometimes familiarity is easier than taking a new and brighter path.

he could be more. but it's hard to do that when everyone around you sees the worst in you and your stuck in a shadow your entire life. ignored. it's why I love mobius so much. he sees what others don't in loki and actually pushes him to be better and is there for him. mobius is truly the number one loki apologist.

Well, he has to leave a lot due to his work, but every time he returns nothing can stop him from spending time with his loved ones!! And he brings his kids a lot of presents from business trips (of course he doesn't forget about you too)

Speaking of "business", like with Teucer, to his kids Childe is the best toyseller in Snezhnaya. This sometimes causes certain embarrassing incidents (imagine Childe's story quest, but with his kid instead. Yea, something like that)

Your kids are never lonely though. Childe's family loves them and doesn't mind babysitting them, when reader is busy/tired. Pulchinella also visits and tells them stories of his youth (also dies internally when kids say that their father sells toys)

Tartaglia is a very fun dad, I think. He'll teach his kids how to fish, cook (even better if reader is not from Snezhnaya, so you can teach them different cuisine). When they're older, he'll teach them to fight. You'll never know what might happen while he's gone!

Like with Pantalone, Reader will have to be a "strict" parent, your family is just your husband and 1-3 freckled faces against you. Childe spoils your children a lot, he has little to no restriction

Childe is *very* protective of his family. When he's gone for a mission or if kids, when grow up, leave their homeland there are always fatui agents watching over then. If something happens to either of you... Let's say a simple kill is an easy way out of this situation...

Papanella being a grandpa as usual 🥺 (idc what anyone says) I bet he gives you a lot of advice on how to deal with them too! But omg. Ajax is indeed such a great dad. Despite being a Harbinger he still has all the best traits for being a father. He's protective of his kids but not overbearing, he knows that he has to let them try things out on their own. He indulges their curiosity within reason. He loves to make them laugh and try new things. He's patient with them and their feelings. And he makes sure despite not being able to be around them all the time, they know he loves them more than anything! So much fun activities, as you said :) And yup, he's honestly worried about their safety so he'll start by teaching them the basics of a sword (they vow to keep you safe too which you think is cute)

Freckles Childe my beloved 🥺 It seems like reader has their work cut out for them, their husband is hella mischievous sometimes and it rubbed off on the kids 🥰 He always spoils them, but you can't get too mad since that's his way of apologizing for being gone.

But yea i cant imagine what Childe would do if his family got hurt... its not a pretty scene thats for sure... ahaha (he'd give you all the biggest hug after and probably cries a bit in your arms)

and cecil is just a voice on the phone. kevin and carlos share a town, share a home, share a dinner table, share a bed. cecil is a distant threat. HE has a life with carlos
