never forgets your birthday. always makes sure to finish work before the day so that he can spend the entire day with you.

prepares everything beforehand. when u wake up the whole living room is decorated for you. you have no idea where he stores the decorations in the meantime.

buys you a bunch of things that reminded him of you. also gets you things that he remembers you saying you liked and things that he noticed you staring at in the store windows.

very very sweet on your birthday. gives you lots of hugs and affection. still likes to tease you though.

makes sure nothing comes between you and him on your special day <3

buys you anything and everything you could ever want ever.

makes your birthday cake himself. it's the best cake you've ever had. he keeps the recipe a secret though.

takes a day off for once so that he can give you all the attention you could ever want from him.

takes you out to anywhere you might want to go, whether its shopping together or going to a restaurant. he also covers all the fees and payments.

clotted cream cookie would also react with amusement. he would sit down in front of you whilst watching you intently, his signature slightly annoying smirk present on his face. when you ask him if he wants to help, he chuckles and sits back, merely telling you he prefers to watch you do your thing. he might steal one on occasion, purposely doing it while you’re watching just to get a reaction out of you. may or may not have financier help you in his stead.

wildberry cookie is… confused, to say the least. he doesn’t understand the point to sorting your snacks before you eat them. although even then, he would never judge you for anything. every time he sees you sorting, he always offers to do it for you. though you insist you can do it yourself, he still is adamant on at least helping you. maybe it would be a bit tedious to pick apart tiny snacks, especially with his bigger hands, but he’ll manage for you.

captain caviar cookie would be uncharacteristically quiet about it. when he first spotted you sorting your gummy snacks by color, all he did was quietly watch you with a butter beer in his hand. of course he wasn’t judging you, he was just intrigued, and maybe a little impressed at the dedication you had for sorting them. he might joke about it to you, but it’s all lighthearted. once you finally finish, he might give you a nice pat on the back, and may also ask you to share.

the moment his obsession with you began he knew he had to make you his and he made that clear to his crew, who agreed to go along with it even — they had to obey the captain, after all, and as long as he didn’t hurt you too badly they didn’t see the harm

so nobody intervened: nobody batted an eye when you were knocked clean out on the dock, hoisted over his shoulder and carried back onto his ship; nobody spoke up when he used some rope to tie you down onto a spare mattress he’d brought into his office so that you couldn’t run off and that you’d at least be comfortable when you were there; nobody complained when he had them hurry off to market to fetch some supplies for you in separate groups to avoid suspicion (extra fashions of food, a couple of books to keep you entertained, some changes of clothes, and even some clean rags for him to gag you with whilst they were at the port); nobody uttered a word when your friends and family came by looking for you to put up missing person posters all over the republic’s docks — only offering muttered sympathies as they got ready to depart

you weren’t harmed beyond the initial smothering and the captain had made sure you were safe and cared for, so they weren’t going to speak up — not unless he started to get abusive, but they knew their captain would never

so he got off scot-free and you got to spend the next few months of your life adrift at see surrounded by strangers who were obsessed with you at worst (the captain) or pitied your situation and tried to play nice at best (the crew)

to his credit, captain caviar cookie would never raise a hand to you unless he absolutely had to — and even then the furthest he’d go is picking you up and carrying you somewhere to calm down — but that doesn’t mean that he’s above threatening you with violence against yourself or your loved ones (he’s not a violent man by any means, but you don’t know that)

he doesn’t even know your name, calling you an endless string of pet names as he teases you and feeds you and adjusts your bindings so you can’t escape until they’re out on open water — then he’ll let you out to explore the ship on your own (so long as someone has eyes on you at all times, don’t want you getting hurt after all)

he’s incredibly touchy with you whether you want him to be or not: throwing an arm around your shoulder and pulling you into a side hug, wrapping an arm around your waist or hugging you from behind whilst you watch the ocean, laying beside you in bed and holding you so tightly that you can’t leave, kissing the side of your face so roughly that you end up with pretty bad beard burn by the time you return to port, etc.

he does try and keep you happy as best he can: joking around with you (or trying to, at least), asking you about whatever you’re reading (and backing off when you ignore him), complimenting you randomly, telling tales about his time at sea in an attempt to impress you (and getting annoyed when you’re unaffected), etc.

the moment you complain about the cold he’s throwing his jacket over your shoulders, not accepting no for an answer and very sternly insisting that you’re not used to the sea and he’s not gonna let you get sick over your own stubbornness

he won’t let you off of the ship until he’s absolutely sure that you won’t try and run away, and even then he’s never letting you leave his sight — this can take upwards of several years depending on how stubborn you are, but eventually the stockholm syndrome will kick in and you’ll start to grow fond of your new life partner

and then he’ll bring you home to your family, playing the part of the hero and telling a tale describing what had ‘really’ happened to you — and by the end you’ll be coming back to the ship with him (it’s your home now, after all)

It had been some time since you met the mer-squid shark, Captain Caviar. You were surprised at how nice he was and it was a welcome change of pace. The…cookies, of this planet were either very annoying to deal with or hostile…most of them at least. Captain caviar actually saved you from another squid shark named Blue coral, he seemed to be that one’s boss and played no games when it came to that behavior. You were of course very grateful for the rescue and offered him your own help should he ever need it.

“Ah don’t worry about it, these salty crumblings just get out of control sometimes.” He said.

It was nice to have a friend in such an environment. Caviar was tough and ragged, but super nice and caring at the same time! He always knew what to say to make you smile. The mercookie would also assist you by either keeping other predatory fauna away or gathering resources for you to use. He truly was an amazing friend.

“Captain Caviar, again, thank you so much for everything!” You thanked.

“No need to thank me, I’m more than happy to help. I get this planet is pretty scary and it’s not easy to survive, so why not give a visitor a fighting chance ay?” He replied.

You laughed and agreed with him, had it been the other way around you would’ve helped him too. Honestly there’s not a word in the dictionary that could describe how grateful you were. You had to admit, his…well his everything was getting to you. His charm, his looks, his personality. You couldn’t believe you were falling for an alien…well, you were alien to him as well but you get the picture. You wanted to be closer to him so you rebuilt you base near his territory.

Caviar was happy to have you closer as well, certainly made the trip to visit way easier! With him having both lungs and gills he could easily enter your base to spend dry land time with you as well. Listen to music or try some of your snacks. He especially liked salty snacks the best.

Captain Caviar thought about you a lot. A being from another planet, or a Witch as you called yourself, he was so very fascinated. Maybe that’s why he saved you from his subordinates, he wanted to learn more… But over time with you, his feelings began to grow. He loved the friendship he had with you, spending time with you, helping you, anything that involved you brought a smile to his face!

Sometimes he wondered if he’d be this happy if he just let Blue coral eat you, but he’d always arrive at the same answer. He wouldn’t be happy; without you his life would be…dull. He never got bored of you, he missed you when you were apart. He desired to protect and care for you with all his being. Now of course the tough Captain caviar was never the best with these types of feelings but here he was feeling them for you.

One day you decided to go down deeper into the crystal caverns, it was quite a ways away from your base so you decided to get moving early with your sea truck. Of course this led to you not telling Caviar where you were going, bad idea.

Little did you know of the hell you’d soon face.

When Captain caviar came to visit, he obviously noticed you were gone, hauling himself up into your base he looked for clues that could lead towards your whereabouts. Then he noticed your day planner, looking through it he saw you were heading towards the crystal caverns. Oh no… As fast as he could Caviar launched back into the water and swam like his life depended on it, but he knew yours depended on it.

Sirens blared through the sea truck; it was damaged in several ways from the digestive fluids of that mer-shadow leviathan. Black pearl.

“Hahahahahah! You can try but you’ll never escape me!” She cried out with sadistic glee.

You were freaking out and desperately trying to get away as water was leaking into the sea truck, you had no room or time to make the repairs! You kept going until her lower teeth clamped onto your vehicle again, biting hard and releasing more digestive fluids that nearly brought it all down to zero. You had to get out of here!

When you were released, you decided to make a break for that one strange base you saw on the way here. You exited the sea truck with your diving gear and swam as fast as you could, but she came out of the darkness again. Laughing and prepared to swallow you whole, however Black pearl wasn’t prepared for the electrified tendrils that wrapped around her.

“Aaaaaaah!!!” She screamed.

Your eyes went wide as you spotted Captain caviar electrocuting her with his tendrils, teeth grit and a dark glare on his face. He looked at you.

“Go, hurry! I’ll take care of her!”

With no time to spare you swam faster than you ever swam before in your life, making it to that strange base before you could run out of oxygen. Taking in gasps of air and climbing up the moonpool ladder you prayed Caviar would be okay. You waited and waited for him, worry eating away at your psyche. Finally you saw him pulling himself up by your side. He was covered in wounds but thankfully alive.

You took out one of the med kits you brought and started to treat his injuries, worrying all over him but thanking your savior at the same time.

“Eh don’t worry about it, but next time you tell me when you’re going off somewhere, you never know what’s lurking below the depths! And see what happened? You would’ve been crumbs if it wasn’t for me!” He scolded you, not out of anger but from his own worry.

“Captain caviar…”

“Just…just be careful next time alright?” He breathed out.

“Alright, I will, thank you…”

You leaned against his side and he returned the gesture by wrapping an arm around you.

~| Caviar is, generally, a man to let his actions speak, so I don’t think he’d be very verbally loving further than calling you ‘pumpkin’ or something similar.

~| All of his affection is physical- and a lot of it is just teasing. His favorite thing to do is to give you nuggies, and sometimes he’ll just assault you with hugs.

~| He gives rad piggyback rides. Ask him for a piggyback ride and he will drop literally anything he’s doing. He loves the run around the docks with you on his back.

when taking a stroll on the beach the last thing you expected to see was child, seemingly only a couple years over the age of 10

the child was shivering and it noticed you, they clung onto your clothing

it was, (to no ones surprise) that you took this child with you to your contemporary place of stay to nurse them back to health.

you started by giving them blankets, to warm themselves up in for the sake of comfort or whatever else they might need the blankets

Ah, the open sea breeze, perfect for an evening like this.

Somewhere, out in the vast soda ocean, there was a ship, gently rocking back and forth on the waves. On said ship, a crew of sailors enjoyed a hearty feast, eating and drinking to their heart's content. Each and every crewmate wore joyous smiles upon their faces, all of them celebrating the holiday by sharing laughter and well-wishes with one another.

It was a happy holiday indeed. The cookies were delighted and graciously celebrated their friendships with each other. Every sailor's boisterous laughter quickly filled the dining hall below deck. It truly was a perfect holiday for every cookie on board.

Even after the dinner was over, plenty of crew members were boasting with smiles and laughter. All across the ship, cookies could be seen eagerly conversing with one another, and atop the deck, a certain pair of cookies could be seen sharing a special moment with each other.

"Ha! Now THAT'S a good joke! You're quite the comedian, ya know!" Captain Caviar Cookie laughed at your jokes as he playfully nudged you with his elbow. "You're a real sweetheart, ya know. I'd give anything to see you smile." He looked at you with a starstruck look in his eyes. His sudden compliment left you red in the face, and he chuckled at your flustered expression. "You just look so adorable. I'm glad that we're able to spend our lives together. I love you so much." He cupped your cheek and kissed your forehead.
