The family that was killed consisted of: Cash’s half siblings (two sisters and a brother) and his uncle

Cash is the eldest son in the family

His father was a whore, alcoholic and was never at home

Their mothers left them with the father and Cash’s bio mom died when he was 5

Cash was a single mother of 3 by age 12

They developed a very close relationship due to this

His half sisters were named Kim and Jessica who was nicknamed Jessie by Cash

His half brother was named Tod but everyone called him Toddy

His uncle Brian would take care of them sometimes but was also out of the house most of the time

Cash left home at 18 to join the military

Headcanon: Blitz has been told since he was a kid that he's like his dad. Being compared to your own abuser can do a number on you.

Adults he worked with at the circus would say it all the time but never said what they meant. They'd smile when they said it though. As an adult, Blitz realizes that they probably meant to say he was daring, quick witted, full of ideas, even charismatic in a way . . . But those who'd been with the circus for a while couldn't make a comparison like that without knowing what else they were implying. They meant that Blitz was impulsive, tempermental, mischievous- that he'd probably grow to be manipulative, angry, scheming, bitter, cruel. Self-serving. Self-destructive. Blitz thinks now that he's becoming more like Cash every day- he fears hurting those he cares about too- he's trying not to be like his dad.

Blitz doesn't understand that he'll never become his dad because he's too much like his mom. An offbeat sense of humor, deep love for a few choice people, determination to make his own decisions, a spirit that can withstand a really hard life.

I like to think that when the batfamily inevitably runs out of money and jobless Bruce, Tim, and Dick* find themselves in financial need, Steph reveals that she's made thousands of dollars taking odd jobs around Gotham City that we just never saw bc Steph hasn't been in a comic for months. Nobody checked in on her and while they weren't looking she made 6 grand babysitting and playing piano at a local theatre. Bruce has to grovel for enough money to buff out a scratch on the batmobile and Steph is revelling in it. This is the closest she's ever going to get to being a supervillain
