Since Bruce was raised by a very British man he has some British quirks like calling the garbage “rubbish”, calling coats “jumpers” saying some words with a slight British accent, stuff like that

I kinda miss when Cass' aesthetic was just like: -has never brushed her hair in her life -owns no clothes that aren't sweat pants, hoodies, tank tops or sports bras all in black -the sunken, shadowed eyes of someone who sleeps once every three days -looks both shredded as hell yet completely malnourished -theorists are divided on whether she literally burns in the sun -somehow still has the kindest face you've ever seen

Bedtime for Cassandra and Zitka ft. Bruce and Alfie

Yeah, Bruce - "I can't say no to my kids if they ask" - Wayne. You could have said "no. Alfred shakes his head but when he walks away there is a fond smile on his face.

Don't mess with BatFamily Waynes

I really wanted to draw batkids together for so long^^

I was inspired by one comic panel (but I lost it( )

Valerie goes to Gotham U on a scholarship to study engineering. Sure Gotham is more dangerous than she might have been willing to risk before Amity Park got weird and she became the Red Huntress, but she has plenty of experience now and the scholarships and paid internships offered by Wayne Enterprises are worth it. As embarrassed as she is to admit it, life in Gotham leaves her bored. She starts looking for a sports team to join.

It's not exactly taking the hoverboard out for a spin, but ultimate frisbee isn't completely different from fighting ghosts. She actually finds a flyer on campus for the university team, but she doesn't have time to commute back and forth to campus multiple times a day from where she's living in the Narrows.

Val is in the Narrows because it's what she can afford in Gotham.

(There's... a bit more to it than that. The ambient ectoplasm levels in Crime Alley set off her armor's ghost sensors and that makes her wary of what could sneak up on her when she's worn down from work, school, and frisbee. On top of that she doesn't want to move into a crime lord's territory as a complete outsider.)

Fortunately the frisbee league is local. They play against teams in Bludhaven occasionally, but mostly against other teams in Gotham. This means there is a team in the Narrows and Val quickly hunts them down and joins once she realizes.

It feels good to stretch her legs. There are definitely a few incognito metas on the team so she doesn't stand out too badly with the enhanced abilities from her armor.

Over time she drifts toward the teammates closest to her age: Steph and Cass. She doesn't really get why everyone treats them like royalty for a couple months; honestly it's a bit embarrassing, but she doesn't have any idea Cass is a Wayne until she catches a picture of the pair at some charity event or other. It takes a moment to recognize Steph in makeup without the ponytail, but Cass' short hair is done the same as she always has it. The next time she sees them Steph bothers her until she admits she hadn't realized who they are at all. Both of them find it funny enough to invite her to hang out.

They win the league at the end of the year and Valerie stays in Gotham for most of the summer to work.
