Yeah I actually don't think it's Gregory the one who kills Cassie in the normal ending, I'm pretty sure that was still Mimic somehow because it just doesn't make sense to me why he'd kill her instead of, y'know, get her out and then break the elevator or just guide her to the scooping room since he apparently knows the place so well.

Like, yeah, no, leave my boy alone, I refuse to believe he's evil or that he'd do that to a friend. He went through hell to save Freddy in the original game and he had known him for a few hours, why would he betray a long time friend who was risking her life to save him and then not sound like actually apologetic or regretting it at all????

That silly cute song comes both in Roxy and Glamrock Freddy's voices. And if the AR world kind of collects bits of Plex memories like the faint voices and whispers indicate and Cassie can hear either voice singing to her...

It makes me think that it was not only Roxy and Gregory who showed up to Cassie's birthday, but Freddy aswell. Heck maybe it was Freddy who delivered the carrot cake with his stomach hatch!

Perhaps he delivered the cake and sung Happy Fazbear Birthday along with Roxy to Cassie but just couldn't stick around much (he's the most popular after all, being the main mascot, he's probably got the tightest schedule.)

This brings me to that unused Freddy line in the main game where he supposedly did remember seeing Gregory before actually meeting him at the beginning of the game. "Wait, I know you. I remember you from-" before being cut off.

Maybe it would have been that Freddy remembered Gregory from Cassie's birthday??

AND? Him possibly having delivered the carrot cake there was how Gregory learned about Freddy's stomach hatch thus already knowing how to use it at the beginning of the main game???
