My dog has been having senior moments, such as randomly forgetting what she's doing or trying to walk into a street, and I've been calling her "Mr. President" when it happens.
Like, "No, Mr. President, we can't walk into oncoming traffic. That's how we get killed!"
#it makes me sad that she's so old. and it's only in the past couple months that she's been doing this.#she's still overall very physically healthy. we go on walks almost every day and as long as she wants to.#and she eats well and takes vitamins and her teeth are kept clean and her claws trimmed and her coat clean#but she's slipping a little mentally#she's 11 which is old as hell for a dog her size. the vet said golden retriever mixes (which is what i assume she is) usually live to 10.#and she's not even started going white too much. just around her snoot and a little on her paws.#so when i take her in the vet always assumes she's like 6#but I've had this crusty old lady since shortly before i was even legally an adult#and I'm scared for when she does die because my other dog dying damn near made me commit suicide#and like I've said. I've had her a lot longer.#if she were a person she'd be going into middle school. like.#and she's had her share of weird health things. she's had a thyroid issue since she was 4. she has a weird skin condition.#she's had a couple surgeries and has scars from being attacked by random dogs (not my fault. she's well trained)#she's fallen a couple times recently but the vet says that's normal for her age#she went blind then wasn't blind and is going blind again#her hearing is starting to get shit too#I'm just so worried about her. this dog is a person to me. she's more real than my family in my mind.#and my cat is cool and all. but she's not a people. she's just a cat.#i guess the best i can hope for her is she lives the rest of her life comfortably and can die peacefully in her sleep#i think I'd completely come unglued from reality if i lost another dog to surprise everything cancer#but that's what I'm most scared of#because it came on so quickly and no one caught it despite me being that person who takes their dogs to the vet over a cough#she's sleeping right now and making goofy ass dog dream sounds. and i know i won't hear that any more sometime soon.#dog#old dog#senior dog#clio#joe biden mention

Alright, I was going to wait to post this until tomorrow but honestly I’m just too excited I can’t wait. Finally, after working on and off this project for two years, my Madney video edit is done.
Here it is!
Hopefully everyone likes it as much as I do. I get the scene overlays could look confusing to some eyes, but personally it was one of the things I loved about making it.
I tried my best with the editing, then came to the point where I had to just say it was done, or else like any other work of art you’ll always find something to fix.
Anyways, hope anyone who sees this enjoys! I absolutely just had to do this for Maddie and Chimney, because look how happy and in love they are! 😭❤️

today in "trying to get bottom surgery is its own circle of hell": on may 28th, i get my surgeon on the phone regarding the issue of my surgery getting approved and inform him that i have an official document of approval that covers all transition surgeries for the rest of my life and therefore i dont need to pass through a specific meeting to have bottom surgery approved. surgeon tells me to send him the document and hell be able to bring it up in a staff meeting "at the end of the week" and schedule my surgery asap. as soon as i get a copy of the document the next day i email it to him. so, of course, its been two weeks since that "end of the week" staff meeting and i havent heard shit!
emailed the surgeon again asking for an update.. maybe at some point ill finally get a date for this surgery ive been going through the process of preparing and getting approved since 2021 :) which was already scheduled then delayed twice in 2023 :))
can i move to the reality right wingers believe in where you just walk into a hospital and say "give me a sex change now!!" and they immediately start prepping an or lol

#wjatevr. i dont care#no actually i do care. its about morishige how can i not care#i saw a very interesting take on why morishige chases yuka (not the tutorial idea. thats also interesting though)#something about how he was protecting her and he was never going to harm her#and i was like huh. maybe i misunderstood because i played the game when i was 11#and then i realized i literally played it last week#i cant help but disagree? yeah he wasnt planning on hurting her. it makes the whole chase scene very funny especially if you get caught#he keeps repeating the same thing and me and my sister joke about it all the time lol#but anyways. i think that even in the manga he wouldnt have hurt her even though he hints at his intent being more malicious than in game#i love this scene because i love hearing people talk about why the fuck he did this#let me talk about the manga instead for a moment actually i think this scene is much funner there#he stops for a moment when yuka stops crying before he breaks into this very obviously malicious grin#like he was EXCITED. the darkening had already startrd to show and its very clear while hes chasing her#the whole time he was just messing with her. he wasnt planning to harm her in the manga either#because he literally catches up to her. and he could've caught up to her multiple times had he not been taking pictures as she ran#all he did when he caught up to her was whisper in her ear. so#yeah. he wasnt going to kill her or injure her like in the anime. but does that mean he had any good intentions?#im not sure how this could be described as him simply helping her#and i could be remembering wrong but doesnt he somewhat explain himself in book of shadows?#i remember him saying something about him just having fun and enjoying how scared she was#so ive always just seen it as him enjoying the rush he got from chasing someone weaker than him#because it was partially the darkening right?#im not one to say that morishige is inherently evil or always had a huge interest in gore or anything. becausw its not true#but i dont want to deface his character by warping his intentions to seem less malicious#i need to get a fucking journal this is getting out of hand#finn.txt

#last night i dreamed that i was trapped in my same patterns as i am while awake but the building i work in was bigger#and i was so dizzy and disoriented that i kept stumbling from room to room. up and down stairs. running into people who would stare at me#in confusion until one grabbed me in the way u do when someone is being concerning and incoherent and he made me sit in an auditorium#with a doctor who already knew my name. but then i was back in my messy apartment staring down at a lizard id let die because id forgotten#to feed it. part of my brain was in contact with my mum and she said i should come home so i did. i appeared there but i seemed somewhat#transparent. liked id been there a long time so no one noticed my being there was out of place. they were there but doing other things#i wandered into a room where some ppl i knew from hs were performing surgery. i went to wash my hands and the soap came out as blood#my sister tolerated my presence. which is out of character. she seemed to sense something was wrong. then i walked back into my current#apartment halfway across the country. caught a glimpse of myself in the bathroom mirror and became transcendently angry#uneasy dreams. but at least i didnt have to get up at 6. i mean i still only got like 7hrs sleep at most but better than 6 i guess#its probably bc i spent so much time hysterically crying and staring off into space yesterday. by the end of the day i felt so awful i#wondered if i might b getting sick. dizzy in that way thats not quite dizzy#but today should b pretty laid back. still doing things but probably ill hace time to get some non work bullshit#done. hopefully. then its back to 11hr days until Monday#then the experiment is over and i havr to deal with the consequences. and finish my other destructive project#which has at least 11 days left#well see what happens 🫠#unrelated

#i'm thinking this is ~fantastic beasts era new york bc it feels easier to justify like 15-30 kids living on their own w/o like. jobs.#or getting caught.#they refer to losing their memories as 'getting erased'#bc at a certain point of magic exposure. yea. a lot of important or key memories might just go Poof. and take your personality with it.#some of them have seen it happen and those are the horror stories that spread in whispers#they know what happens if any of them get caught.#most of them have seen the horrors of magic (obscurial incident anyone?) and some of them have seen the beauties (fixing new york)#(+ newt was a LIL flippant w magic while he was there and yknow i'm willing to bet there were some other instances a small concealed child-#-could witness; also the magical creature pastries in the bakery. the kids aren't stupid they know he got Erased)#featuring a small magical child ~5-6 named andy he doesn't want to be a wizard bc he'll have to leave the group or they'll be found#also he's scared of wizards (but not magic)#+ the group leader giselle ~11-14; nonmagical angry and scared she knew about magic the longest has seen the most and knows the streets#she can identify wizards and does her best to work w the other older children to switch locations when the wizards sniff too close#also a poltergeist type ghost? can't research the Troll's lore bc it's 4:30 am and i'm trying to sleep#but like. a ghost that can physically manipulate the environment and can't be seen by nonmagical people as such#feeds off magical energy but decided to stick with this ragtag mix of magic and no magic bc it's funny and he's also kinda attached to them#they love their poltergeist buddy even tho the nonmagical kids can't see him just what objects he interacts with#at some point newt scamander loses his niffler and it finds its way to these children who name it richard and take it stealing with them#they love richard he's large and cute and when set loose in a jewelry store he cleans it out in under a minute#when newt tracks his niffler back to their hideout they emergency evac + knock him out lmfao#i kinda imagine newt being sympathetic? like there was that thing w the little girl he couldn't save#and now these kids right and probably eventually he's told the story via giselle trying to threaten him into staying tf away#and he'd obv be extremely worried for these kids n the possibility of an obscurial?#also he has some strong Nonthreatening vibes and i feel like he's not a government snitch even if the films iirc are tryin to make him a cop#newt scamander is not a cop idc fuck canon and fuck jkr#idk it's 4:38 am and i'm just trying to scribble down the thoughts before they leave#and hopefully FALL.
