Turns out I’ve been illegally trafficked drugs across borders when I brought my CBD oil with me to Norway.

Had a slightly worrying conversation with a Norwegian who was very upset that she can’t buy CDB oil legally in her home country and I’m sitting there like “I have a vial in my suitcase right now…Oh no, am I the lamest drug trafficker in the world?”

It didn’t even occur to me that I could be doing something illegal because you can buy CBD oil in fucking make-up stores in Denmark.

I understand her pain though. CBD oil has been extremely helpful managing my insomnia and anxiety (Funny thing is, I bought it to help with insomnia but noticed a change in my anxiety levels first. I didn’t even know I had anxiety until I didn’t have it anymore) and I wouldn’t be functioning half as well as I do now without it.

CBD, increasingly used by some to treat conditions including epilepsy, chronic pain and anxiety, is one of the main active compounds in cannabis, along with tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC – the substance that makes users feel high. The compound's effectiveness as a medical treatment is still under research.

Petey is in her Thundercoat. That thing works wonders. I put it on her, and in a minute, she was relaxed. The gentle tightness brings down her blood pressure and calms her almost instantly. It's like a giant hug. I, also, gave her 5mg of melatonin and 2 CBD chews. Things have gotten very loud outside, and she's just laying by my side with a big, goofy grin!! I have my TV up very loud and the air conditioner on so she can't hear things going on outside. In an hour, it'll sound like a war zone outside. There will be smoke rolling through the streets, and the smell of cordite will permeate the air. It sorta reminds me of the South Bronx in the late 70s, but I digress. I miss the fireworks and the festivities, but I am happy to take care of Petey and get her through this night. That's what she'd do for me if I needed it so it's my honor to do it for her. She's my best friend and I love her unconditionally!!! ALWAYS... 😁😍🐕❤️❤️
