Good afternoon Mr.Briggs (if i may call you such) Been a fan of your content since 2019 and have loved to see you evolve over time with both your technique and skill. Have you ever done a video about men's breeches/pants? My beloved does a lot of plays/theater, and with the lovely shirt tutorial you've posted, I would love to at some point make him some breeches to go with it. Hello! Thank you! No, I have not yet made a video on breeches or pants, alas. (An easy fact to observe, since I've only made 13 videos so far!) But someday!

I have no idea when I'll get to it. It is on The List, but it's a very long list and breeches aren't a super high priority at the moment, so I doubt there'll be a breeches video for quite a while.

I think it fairly likely that I'll end up doing a fall front pants video before I get around to a breeches one, but I never can tell what will grab my attention first. I had planned on doing the shirt video two videos ago, but then buttonholes and striped gloves jumped up and said "Hey! What about us?"

Since I just finished the shirt tutorial, I feel like working on more fun and silly things for a while before I do another big video on a wardrobe basic. I'll want to film a lot of different pairs of pants for the pants one, so as to show a variety of different options for things.

(I'm working on another fairly short video right now, and am just about to start filming another one, but only the patrons know what they are! Or, they will when I do my monthly update post at the end of July. They already know what the other long term non-sewing video I'm picking away at is.)

Somehow I haven't made an in depth blog post about how I do pants or breeches either, alas! I've really been neglectful of my blogspot in recent years.

(I do have a blog post about how I do fall plackets though, which should be helpful.) (Also, Nicole Rudolph has a video on sewing breeches.)

i find how in fics i’ve read recently, writers (who clearly are normal-to-tall height) write in short characters’ povs sooo interesting. interestingly it’s mostly with peridot (rather than steven or amethyst) where shortness is a fixation. they’re constantly reminded of their shortness and “curse this tall world and tall people!!” when in reality short people don’t always think about being short because that’s just how they live.

ive been thinking a lot about this horrible editing and honestly it feels like their editors only watched pinofs with the whole shuffle editing thing and decided that was dan and phil's Brand even tho those vids arent characteristic of what dnp vids actually are

ohhh, good comparison. pinof walked so today's fast-cutting culture could run. it's a pity dnp decided to revive dnpg now, instead of like 2 years ago. maybe it wouldn't be THAT bad. and the upload schedule would be easier, i guess, so the editors would have more time to focus on their work. idk where dnp are running to right now. both channels scream QUANTITY. they will have to pause dnpg because of the ceiling, for at least a week. or to stop filming in the editing room :)) but after that i expect them to return to 2-3 videos per week, which is fucking mental.

anyway, the views dropped quite a lot. i wonder if we will see some changes soon enough.
