Larry and Magic - Temporary Teammates
Magic and Larry played together for a night in the mid-80s for a charity event in LA. Wasn't going to hit on this in the project I'm doing, but have a scribble, since I was feelin kinda down the past little while.
They played great together, but had to remember that they were rivals, of course.

Herman Melville on Napoleon’s love for Ossian
Context: Ossian is the narrator and purported author of a cycle of epic poems published by the Scottish poet James Macpherson, originally as Fingal (1761) and Temora (1763), and later combined under the title The Poems of Ossian.
“I am rejoiced to see Hazlitt speak for Ossian. There is nothing more contemptable in that contemptable man (tho' good poet, in his department) Wordsworth, than his contempt for Ossian. And nothing that more raises my idea of Napoleon than his great admiration for him.—The loneliness of the spirit of Ossian harmonized with the loneliness of the greatness of Napoleon.”
Melville wrote this around 1862 in the margins of his copy of Hazlitt’s Lectures on the English Comic Writers and Lectures on the English Poets

Ethan Sabatella's reviews of Hound by Paul J. Bolger and Barry Devlin are invaluable since he writes from the perspective of someone who has studied Irish mythology.

This comic was inspired by the travel song from Shrek the musical! So there’s that. ^^;;
Pretty much the brothers experienced a pretty bad flood from wet season in the savannah and are looking for a new home. While this is happening, Sun tries to raise his brother’s spirits with a lil song. Though, Moon wants nothing to do with it but he can’t let Sun down. So he’ll partially sing along.
Also this is my first time with a comic so I’m sorry if it isn’t too good. ^^;;

Some dumb scribbles. Larry talking (and being) a little shit.
Based on a true story. Dude was notorious for trash talk and especially giving rookies a hard time. There's a lot of good stories about it, but this one tickled me.
