Not really a jessie question but as a ceramacist im curious, do any of your characters do ceramics/pottery? I feel like maybe shiloh or sugar or would like it but that may be wishful thinking on my part (they're my favs. Jessie and lola too but they don't seem like sculpting fans)WAIT now i have a jessie question: if shiloh and jessie went on a double date with any of your other characters, who would they go with?

Outis has probably worked with ceramics for school, but I can't imagine they work with it much anymore. comics are very time-consuming.

We know Lola has made pottery at least because there's a vase she made on the dining room table in their apartment in do you still think about it and it's a bitch to color.

For the Jessie question... God. I don't think any of them would volunteer for a double date so it would have to be Jessie or Shiloh picking, and I feel like Jessie would let Shiloh pick. And Shiloh would pick some freak shit so it would be Carmilla and her fiancée. More subdued than Izzi and a closer age range.

You have to give yourself time.

Stop picking at the threads of yourself - they'll only come undone.

Offer yourself some patience, the same gentleness of a ceramacist working with new clay. Or, of God in the garden of eden, knowing his creations were always doomed to rebel, and loving them still.

It will take time to mould yourself, your entire life even.

Your days may feel too long - then too short. You will feel plagued by everything, you will wish for something to happen, this is existence. Give yourself time, not every day can be perfect, never every year either.

Drown in the moments worth living and savour them in your mania for the days when your stitches are wide open. On the days of pain plunge your fingers into open wounds and unpick every last heartache until you bleed out on the floor.

Be born again when you wake the next day, or next month, whenever the pain decides to leave. Savour this too, because we are human and we were made to bleed as much as laugh. Neither pain nor pleasure make us who we are, but it's good to have both in our back pockets on the days we forget we're alive.

When we pull ourselves from the viscera of our own corpses, we will be the people we were meant to be. When we give ourselves the time and space to be in pain, without judgement or fear, we step into our new bodies and live.

A few sore fingers and a couple stab wounds later, necklaces are assembled. Is there some magic trick to crimp beads? Because OMG! They were the right size but wow... Thanks to everyone who voted on my story, it was so very helpful. These need some final clean up and photos taken. I'd love to get this and listing done today for the reopening tomorrow!
