Jack is a soft dom, and is happy to either top or bottom.

Tobi is a dom, and they like bottoming.

Cedar Oak:

Just a little heads up, because it's important to me and I want to make sure I'm being very clear. Both the Nechtan route from Vampire and the Gil/Athena route from Helios are what I would consider the official "aromantic" routes. Nechtan's is a little more on the demi side, whereas Gil's is purely aromantic.

Taking Gil's route specifically won't lock you out of any potential sexual content if that's what you want, and there will be opportunities to be emotionally intimate with him as well, but he doesn't experience romantic attraction nor does he have any particular desire to feign romantic interest in anyone, Icarus included.

Nechtan's route won't have any sexual content (I'm not certain if I even want to include that in Vampire, but we'll see where the writing takes me).

This doesn't mean that friendships with the other characters won't have the same amount of work put into them, it's just that Gil and Nechtan were both created to be very low romance no matter what.

The Cedar Chest - Nechtan

The original version of this was a series of letters exchanged between the Vampire and Nechtan over the centuries, but I wasn’t happy with how they turned out. The letters thing, regardless of the Vampire’s relationship with or feelings on Nechtan, is canon. They had to communicate somehow, and business emails hadn’t been invented yet.

This does presume a friendly relationship with him, though.

There is a cedar chest in your apartment. It’s three decades old, the woodsy scent faded enough that you have to actively stick your nose in it to smell anything. Where you got it and who you got it from don��t matter so much as why you got it.

Nechtan.

You weren’t supposed to know his name, just as he wasn’t supposed to know yours. It was a small rebellion, committed across two continents and two centuries. For decades, he was your whisper in the dark, your steady stone in a storm - as, you suspect, you were his. Something familiar and kind in the face of Gregor’s cruelty. You knew his name, even if you didn’t know his face, and that had meant…something.

The chest held his name, along with a thousand other indiscretions committed under Gregor’s  watchful; messages hidden beneath the business-like communications between lieutenants. It had been a monumental effort to persuade the faceless man to concede. The first letter that broke included his favorite color - and a leaf. The leaf was gone by now, disintegrated with the many other pieces of ephemera traded between you. It’s memory remained.
