Do you know of a gender that’s like. I don’t know how to put this so apologies if it’s hard to understand. Your gender identity fluctuates on who you’re talking to, almost? When I’m talking to my girlfriend I feel almost like I’d be okay being called a girl, because I feel like a girl loving a girl, and I do the same with my boyfriend. I'm trying to due some research online about what my gender may be, but all I can find online are common terms like demigender, polygender, etc. but non of those fit me. My gender is sort of dependent of who I'm around. Like, if I'm around a bunch of guys I'm not close with, I'm a girl. But if I'm with my best guy friends, I'm one of the guys. If I'm with girls I'm not close with, I'm androgynous. If I'm with girls I'm close with, I'm a guy. I'm so confused. I don't think I'm genderfluid/flux.

Hi! I’ll list off some of the genders that sound like that and if none of these fit you’re always welcome to coin your own term. :D

Condigender: A gender that is only felt under specific circumstances. can apply to any existing gender such as girl, boy, non-binary, etc. for example, a condigirl may only feel like a girl during specific times or with specific people, a condiboy may only feel like a boy during specific times or with specific people, so on.

Mutogender: A subset of genderfluid; describes when your gender changes depending on your situation (such as location or people surrounding them).

Mirrorgender: A gender that changes to fit the people you're around.

Ludogender: A gender which has a core, but the individual “tries on” different genders because they are mirroring another individual.

Amicagender: A gender that changes depending on which friend you’re with at the moment.

Amaregender: A gender that changes depending on who you’re in love with.

Amorgender or Erogender (or Filkogender, when regarding QPRs): When your gender changes whilst in the presence of an individual to whom you have developed a deep connection for. This could be a romantic attraction, platonic connection, a spiritual affinity or anything similar. For example: An amorboy would identify as male only to someone they felt connected too.

Copygender: A fluid gender identity that mimics the gender of someone the person has strong feelings for.

Chamgender: When your gender identity changes to match the gender or perceived gender of whomever you’re with at the time.

Reflectigender: A gender that reflects that of the identifier’s romantic/platonic/social interest.

Hey, I just wanted to ask, do you happen to know if there's a name for when you're kinda like a gender chameleon and your identity blends in with the surroundings (?)

Like if you're around girls you're a girl, when you're with enbies then youre enby, hanging out with boys - you're a boy too...?

Gosh I feel like it sounds dumb... I'd explain it better but English isn't my native language and I don't know how to describe it...

Googleplier (shown on the left) is an agensexual praes/siromantic singularian. It is condifluidflux of several condigender, and mildly digifluid. Google uses It/Itself pronouns due to wanting to seem less human than it appears. With access to the current DSM and thousands of psychiatric papers, it’s self diagnosed with NPD, and very autistic. Google is also a quoigenic median system, with Red, Green, and Oliver as its facets. 

Darkiplier (shown in the middle) is a Dawnian polygender (chamgender, introgender, agender, and leogender,) chaeinsexual echoromantic. Dae has npd and schizophrenia, uses dae/deam/daeself and ki/kin/kingself pronouns, and is voidkin, demonkin, and kin of Discord from My Little Pony and Val from Outlast.

Wilford Warfstache (shown on the right) is an ambonec chameleogender shifterfluid (medeifluid and erotofluid) Peacock Diamoric! Pi is pansexual, somnioromantic, reciproalterous, and Objectum sexual as well! Wilford uses pi/pin/pinkself, py/pyroself, and me/mett/mettaself pronouns. Pi has bpd, npd, ocd, and is toykin, specifically an alpaccasso!

 Yandereplier uses chi/chiself and fae/faerself mostly, but is ok with any pronouns! Chi is a uniattracted grey-ace borderfluid attrafluidflux mnioct, who just uses queer irl to be simple. Yan has bpd, madd, and chronic pain, and chi’s also swordkin and fictionkin of Steve Carlesburg from Welcome to Nightvale.

Dr. Iplier is an Achillean Sollunarian bigender (filko and shkizeingender) schroromantic who is in a soft romo relationship with Host. Dr uses cor/corpself pronous, and has madd, cptsd, schizoaffective disorder, and cotard’s delusion. Cor’s also a postfurry and kin of Lego Joker and Sherlock Holmes.

Host is a kiwi diamoric aspec fricto-mingender corruflux caedoboy, and lae’s been in a relationship with Dr Iplier ever since cor fixed the Host up after an accident. Host prefers no pronouns, but likes lae/laceself. Lae has ptsd, madd, psychotic depression, and is blind due to not having any freakin eyes. Lae is also kin of pit bulls, Tank Dempsey (Primus) and Dr Monty from Call of duty, and is a soulbonder and a netfur. Lae’s fursona is probably a ferret but lae wont tell anyone. 

Bim Trimmer is bi and genderfluid as heck! Ro’s genders include absorgender, extrogender, gendercute, and genderflora. Bim uses any plant-themed pronouns, because ro is a phytanthrope. Ro’s also a furry, and has ocd, hpd, and chronic migraines.

here’s a few that may fit! i wasn’t sure if you meant your gender only changes wrt relationships or based on anyone you’re around, so i included both.

chamgender: your gender changes to match the gender of whom you’re with at the time

copygender: a fluid gender that mimics the gender of someone you have strong feelings for

followgender: a gender that can be directly changed to match that of a person one looks up to

platofluid: a gender that changes to be the same/similar to the gender(s) one is platonically attracted to at the moment

sterofluid: a fluid nonbinary gender where one feels more feminine if their crush/partner is feminine, more masc if they’re masc, etc

sexofluid: a gender that changes to be the same/similar to the gender(s) one is sexually attracted to at the moment

sensufluid: a gender that changes to be the same/similar to the gender(s) one is sensually attracted to at the moment

i’m sure there’s more, but those are the ones that come to mind!!

maybe:

- absorgender: a gender that is what the genders of those around you are. as you are around more people, even if some leave, they continue to add to the genders you feel. you stay the genders that you have taken in until you hit a max of some sort. at that point you become like a blank slate, being only one gender (it doesn’t have to be agender or neutral, it can be any gender and the base gender can be different each time) - attrafluid: someone whose gender changes depending the gender(s) they feel attraction to at the moment. subtypes are alterousfluid, asthefluid, platofluid, romofluid, sensufluid, sexofluid - chamgender: your gender identity changes to match the gender or perceived gender of whomever you’re with at the time - copygender: a fluid gender identity that mimics the gender of someone the person has strong feelings for - mirrorgender: a gender that changes to fit the people you’re around

Is there a known gender/sexuality for when you always reflect the gender of your partner/ person you’re attracted to. So you could switch between male/female/NB (unintentionally), so that you’re always experiencing same-sex attraction? If that makes sense? It’s taken me years but I’m realizing this is what I have been experiencing.

Some possibilities are:
