How I differentiate the different incarnations of the Doctor

First Doctor: old man goes around kidnapping teachers and getting into fisticuffs

Second Doctor: funny guy has the hots for a Scotsman

Third Doctor: gay fashion icon likes science and martial arts

Fourth Doctor: yep that's an eldritch horror

Fifth Doctor: single father struggles to make queer children get along, falls on the ground several times while trying

Sixth Doctor: gay pride flag is a bastard to people as a self defense mechanism but actually cares a lot

Seventh Doctor: man commits atrocities while teaching young women life lessons

Eighth Doctor: constantly having the worst day of his life, but at least he probably won't remember it!

War Doctor: older man becomes more and more tired of being alive

Ninth Doctor: sir please save some PTSD for the rest of us

Tenth Doctor: gradual moral degeneration combined with constantly remembering past trauma

Eleventh Doctor: baby eldritch abomination really shouldn't travel without his parents

Twelfth Doctor: badass communist rockstar says fuck the police

Thirteenth Doctor: covers up trauma with dinosaur bandaids they give out to children

I've been thinking about how often Five falls over and the way he just sort of collapses like his legs stopped working, and I've ended up with a new headcanon that his legs do just stop working sometimes. He's the only Doctor whose regeneration came so close to failing, and that's got to have some side effects. His new body got a few wires crossed, and sometimes there's a brief interruption of signal from brain to limbs that makes his legs give out without warning for a second. He wears some sort of fancy gadget under his clothes that usually compensates for the signal interruption and keeps him on his feet, but it's not 100% effective, so when he's under stress or in pain or for whatever reason his nervous system is under more strain than usual, he still has a tendency to just fall over.

Doctor Who Dragons: Classic Doctors

I'm designing each of the Doctors as a dragon. I have the designs for all of them. Here's what I've finished so far for Doctors 1-8.

I got an actual drawing tablet and decided to do the rest of the Doctors to test it out. IT IS AMAZING. You can have a look at the others here.

Also, thank you so much to everyone who gave suggestions for Eleven, he was, by far, the HARDEST to find a breed/design for.

I ended up going with a border collie because a) they're great family dogs, b) they like to herd their 'flock' and keep them close and c) they 'give the eye', which means they have a predatory stare that's fierce enough to control a flock of sheep. Sound familiar?

okay so we all know how david tennant is an absolute fucking cutie, an extremely talented actor and my imaginary husband, but can we please please PLEASE talk abt ty tennant as job's son????? like that man CARRIED that episode due to three minutes of iconic camp behaviour and a rly cute tunic???? like look at the pose here, he is a god on earth

and what also made me laugh so hard is that in that episode, there was peter davison (david's father in law and the fifth doctor who) playing job and david's son playing job's son, like that will never stop being funny to me

Hear me out. Gotham central, but it’s an audio drama about Detective Inspector Pat Menzies in the Whoniverse. No Doctor cameos. No huge invasions or anything.
