"Maybe you will, if you aren't trampled to death first, or eaten alive, or die of starvation. Wait till the Antarctic night comes and for nine months the black air hangs round you like a rotten rag, and your eyes are blinded from the dark and from your own sweat. And you lose each other, and you're alone! Alone, do you hear me? Always alone."
"is this the ruthless side of max or the ugly side we thought disappeared with maturity" well personally i think max should be given a gun and be allowed to shoot out his competitor's tyres
"I think Perez has to use all of this space on the left-hand side. Sainz is quite ahead at this point. He is entitled to move across whilst there is space for Checo to track. And I think he'll be disappointed that Perez simply held his ground. You can see the steering dead straight trying to keep that slipstream from Charles Leclerc ahead."
Carlos is not going to continue driving on the side of the track when he's already done the overtake and is in front of Checo.
Checo needs to be aware of the fact that he's behind Carlos and that he had the whole space left of him to either prevent the contact and move to the left or even actually do an attacking move while moving to the left.
This is purely on Checos fault, unaware of the position he was at and the space he had. All because he was dead set on Charles' car.

Jolyon Palmer discusses Carlos' and Charles' racecraft
On Carlos: "He calls some brilliant strategy shots from the car... He's good at making those big, committed moves on the inside, he's good in attack, he's very good in defense, he's a smart driver as well, and he has very few incidents. He might just be the strongest racer in the field for me."
On Charles: "He's one of the bigger brakers in the field... He's got great skills at slowing the car down, and he's got good commitment on the overtake... He's quite tactical with the DRS lines... Charles gives up the inside line quite often. If you give him space to come back on the outside, he'll definitely take it."
Welcome one and all to the Night Vale Obscure Ship Tournament! This is to determine once and for all what is the best obscure Night Vale ship. This tournament brings together canon pairings from the supplementary media (like the books), fandom crack ships, rarepairs, and could-have-beens. Some of these ships have large fanbases on Tumblr, but are more lacking on other platforms. Some of these ships will genuinely make you question who in the world is interested in that. And all of these ships are up for your vote, starting tomorrow!

Vote correctly, or never see your loved ones again.
Actually I think Carlos the Scientist and Charles the Theologist would be friends, not just because religion and science are not opposites or mutually exclusive, but also because I like envisioning a Cecilos/Charlevin (is that their ship name?) double date where Carlos and Charles are chatting happily about research and the inaccessibility of academia and Cecil glares profusely at Kevin from across the table while Kevin goes "are you okay Cecil? You're not smiling much :)"
Leclerc's got the ferrari onto pole position somehow - Jolyon Palmer expressing everyone's bafflement and delight at Charles proving just how good he is at taking that car far beyond what it should be capable of
Not Lawrence Barretto putting Charles Leclerc slander on my TL again. Video Link Here.
The audacity to say that Charles's Monaco win - you know as the first Monegasque driver to win in Monaco in NINETY-THREE YEARS and the first to EVER win in F1 as we know it - wasn't legendary?
