Does this sound familiar? . . Here's the problem with the "cheat day" mentality: You stick to your plan or diet and create a calorie deficit during the week, let's say you're 300 calories per day on average BELOW maintenance.📉 That means in 6 days you're 1800 calories in the red. . For reference, one slice of "Oreo Dream" cheesecake from the Cheesecake factory is 1,630 calories!!! 🤯 If you're "YOLO-ing" it on your cheat day, there's a very good chance you're going to completely undo the calorie deficit you worked so hard for during the week. 😬 It doesn't take much, and if you feel like you're stuck on the cheat day hamster wheel of no progress THIS is why. . ***SIDENOTE: I HATE the term “cheat day”!
