"lol you bought a blue checkmark? you've been played by caPiTALism" Look I know exactly what the blue check mark is. I think everyone who has them (or a dozen) knows what it is. Its a pointless digital trinket and (to me) its FUNNY. I think its absolutely hilarious that Tumblr was able to capitalize off the twitter check-mark fiasco. I applaud them, get that money. I bought it because its a fun addition to my handle and because at the end of the day it helps them keep the lights on. I'd rather give money to this site for a dumb meme than to a site run by the worst guy or give anymore of my data to the Zuckerfuck meta mistake. This isn't like buying an NFT. We know.

Discovered an old pre-paid debit card in my wallet this morning so I used it to buy a Tumblr check mark. Also, paid for my Tumblr to be ad-free for a year and it was worth it within the first 10 minutes of scrolling.
