– Tell us how you were brought on to work on Naruto Shippuden?
Before I came to Japan, I had already decided to try to be involved in the production of Naruto. Fortunately, Zhu Xiao, proprietor of Candybox, had worked for Studio Pierrot and had a good relationship with them, and we was gradually able to hand me cuts to work on for Naruto. Maybe it was because I had been copying Kishimoto’s style, but I got used to it very quickly. At the same time, it was my dream to meet Hiroyuki Yamashita for the longest time. Then I got the chance my last day working at Candybox. From there, Yamashita sent me an invitation to join the production staff. So that’s how I joined team Naruto.
What Boruto's stuff do you have besides all of the SD? Curse me living in a third world country, i cannot find any boruto's merchandise :(
DVDs, Blu-ray’s, CD’s, video games, manga, art books, calendars, acrylics, keychains, shikishi boards, clear files, postcards, figures, settei, storyboards, and miscellaneous goods from jump festa... everything imported from Japan
(and Chengxi Huang’s doujin of his some of this artwork)
For Huang Chengxi, I found that he was inspired by "Naruto" quite a lot, and his story was more determined. He liked Dragon Ball from elementary school until Naruto appeared and was obsessed with animation. And he has inspired "The one who does not believe in oneself does not even have the value of making effort." And inspired by "effort is a vector rather than quantity", work hard, admitted to animation major, successfully went abroad to Japan, Do odd jobs, and stayed up late to participate in the production animation animation. Essence The crazy sleeping move was recognized, and the animated director seat of the 65th episode of " BORUTO " was obtained.
Chengxi Huang is perhaps one of the biggest Naruto fans on the planet. A young webgen animator, Huang has earned a name for himself by creating amazing cuts of kinetic action and breathtaking scenes of fight animation while working on his beloved series at Studio Pierrot.
After moving to Japan, Huang started out as an animator for the outsource studio Candybox, where eventually he did secondary key animation for Naruto Shippuden. There he brushed paths with his current mentor, Hiroyuki Yamashita, who brought him on to work on the series as a core key animator. Recently he has key animated for Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale before returning to Pierrot for work on the currently airing Boruto.
