Lol Beeper was being aggressive towards Sugar and Sugar is just to nice to pushy birds so i went and grabbed Cream and Beeper waltzed up to her all puffed up and ready to bite not realizing Princess Cream is like a few hundred grams worth of pure whoop ass. Now she wants nothing to do with the serama when previously she was being a huge bully 😂

Everyone should hand-raise their roosters it’s literally the best thing I’ve ever done. Today, for some reason, Tiramisu flew out of the chook pen, and when I opened the gate to go out and get him, he sprinted down the hill, danced around me, stood on my boots while I fed the Guinea fowl, yelled about my handful of green beans, jumped into a bucket and then fell out of it, danced at a tomato bush, and then happily went back in to his friends. I didn’t even have to do anything to herd or catch him. He was just There. Having fun.

CM thought I would be derailed in my chicken desires by the puppy, but look: the puppy rarely turns anything into compost and definitely never provides me with eggs, not even when the days are long and the weather is sunny. Additionally she eats only a small fraction of table scraps and usually refuses to consume excess salad even when I dangle it enticingly at her. Clearly we need additional options here.
