I drew this ages ago to turn it into a copperplate etching, and I still hope I can some day! (It turned out the materials I had weren't hard-core enough for a proper etching)
Anyway I really like it so I'm posting it now anyway
Arthurian Legend is the gift that keeps on giving <3
I did a set of educational Carebear posters for my cousin's baby last year with a list of educational topics she wanted included! My favorite is the colors bear, but I am a bit biased hehe
Helping Children Cope With The Challenges Of Having A Caregiver With Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia, or Autoimmune Disease
The children of people with chronic illness and pain suffer quietly. "Why Does Mommy Hurt?" is a joyful, yet honest, portrayal of family life burdened with chronic illness. This is a delightful story told by a young boy learning to understand and cope with his mother's illness. The story creates natural opportunities for families to talk about both the symptoms of chronic illness, and how they affect family life. Even more importantly, the story puts power into the hands of the children. It also offers a helpful "Tips and Resources" section for parents! This book is appropriate for a wide-variety of illnesses associated with chronic pain, such as: Lupus, Lyme Disease, ME, CFS, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Autoimmune Disease, and many others.
This week our assignment was to make illustrations based on a book we like, and I decided to go with my all-time favorite book from childhood "Farbror Dag Drömlund". The original illustrations are already perfect but I tried to live up to them the best I could.
Today is the release day of the new Little Golden Book that I illustrated! This is a great intro to Greek Mythology for kids and I hope they’ll enjoy looking at the pictures as much as I enjoyed drawing them. I am really proud of this one and with how the illustrations turned out. I can’t wait to hear what people think of it.
So happy to be able to say that Lost Moon Holler is finally published. This is a childrens' book that is based upon the mural me and my Husband painted last summer in Charleston, West Virginia. It was written and published by Jeanne Stevenson, the co-owner of Echo-Literary Arts. It is available now!
