Guess who’s home?

I’ve got some housekeeping to do before I’m here here but my IMs are ready and waiting. 

Also, my mouth is going to get me killed one of these days. 

Bit of backstory, I work in a very bad part of town in a liquor store and unfortunately I close alone most days of the week. It’s not uncommon for people to loiter outside the store after close and try to enter when I exit the store. 

Today was no different. 

I got the store locked and I was turning to leave when he tried to pry the door open. Now he was VERY close to me when he was trying to get the doors he just saw me lock open, but I make it clear I’m not sticking around. That’s when he asks if I’ll just let him in to buy a mickey. I tell him that we’re well and truly closed but remind him there’s another liquor store across the street. 

He mumbles something that I don’t hear and I just opt to leave, wishing him a good night. I don’t turn my back to him but I am heading towards the still open grocery store next door.

It seems he’s content to let me go at first so head into the store. It’s well lit and has a lot of staff, so I relax a bit. About five minutes later he finds me in the grocery store and this time looks visibly agitated. He starts going on about how he just wants one thing, and that I’m being a fucking cunt. This has attracted the attention of one of the stock boys who came to stand near us. He’s calling me every name under the sun now, and ranting that I’m conspiring against him, to which I reply with. “Shut the fuck up man. I don’t care what you want, leave me the fuck alone.”

He freaks. Knocks over a display and is sort of aimlessly swinging as he tries to get closer. Thankfully the stock boy stepped in, and a moment later his manager showed up to step between us. This man leaves when the Manager tells him they’ve called the cops

I deal with this shit all the time, you think I’d have learned not to mouth off but I guess today’s Victoria just doesn’t value her safety. I made it home just fine, and now I’m chilling in my jimmers with a chocktail, so don’t worry. But like?? fuck I’m dumb.

Blood Clot Shot or Cocktail

1.5 oz Triple Sec 

3.5 oz Blueberry Moonshine (I'm using Junior Johnson's)

1 oz simple syrup (combine 1 cup water with 1 cup sugar, bring to boil then cool)

3 oz Sprite

0.5 oz maraschino cherry juice

splash of grenadine (mostly for color, but also for awesomeness.)

blueberries and cherries for garnish

ice Had mixed reviews about this.  A lot of people thought having the cherry in the shot was strange and didn't like it.  The shot itself though is very good and sweet.
