“Are we there yet?”

“Chrissy, I swear to god I will turn this car around—“ Nancy seethed. She didn’t know why the hell she agreed to a road trip, but here she was, driving down a highway and trying not to kill her roommates. To her credit, Chrissy shut up for the moment.

One, very brief moment.

“Hey Vick?” Chrissy asked. “Would you still love me if I was a worm?”

Nancy sighed, grateful for Robin’s inquisitive but comforting look. She smiled at her girlfriend and put her hand on her thigh.

In the back, she heard a chuckle.

“A worm?” Vickie questioned. Nancy couldn’t help but snicker.

“Yes,” Chrissy confirmed, her voice cheery as always.

“I mean, I don’t know, Chris,” Vickie mused. “Worms are kind of gross and slimy. Would you love me back? Are worms even capable of love?”

Chrissy huffed, and Nancy peeked at the back mirror to see the girl with crossed arms and a pout on her face.

“I’d still love you if you were a worm, princess,” Robin said, earning a soft chuckle from Nancy. She leaned over the center console—road safety be damned—and kissed her girlfriend.

“I’d still love you too, birdie,” Nancy crooned, showing her softer side only with Robin. She smiled as she returned her attention to the road. “I’d keep you in my purse in a little vial of fresh dirt and moss.”

“Gross!” Chrissy called.

“Get a room!” Vickie groaned.

Robin smirked. “I’d get you a nice terrarium and I’d show my worm girlfriend to all of my friends.”

“I’d kiss your little glass bottle goodnight every night before bed,” Nancy returned, grinning mischievously at the continued protest in the back seat.

They continued back and forth for a moment, before Robin gasped and turned the music up—Tongue Tied by Grouplove.

“I love this song!” she exclaimed—but Nancy already knew, smiling fondly. Robin began to sing along, followed swiftly by Chrissy. Even Vickie gave in, and begrudgingly, Nancy joined the chorus, if only to see Robin’s sunshine grin.

When the song came to a close, blissful silence filled the car.

It was far too short.

“Fine, Chris, would you still love me if I was a worm?” Vickie grumbled.

Chrissy scoffed, grinning mischievously.

“Oh absolutely not, worms are gross. I might study you though.”

- max needed an older sister in her life and found exactly that in ms. nancy elizabeth wheeler. nancy knows what it's like to always be disregarded for being a woman and sympathizes with max and urges her to stand up for herself and never take no for an answer. she becomes a mother figure to the girl when robin comes into play, being the one to keep order (and keeps the house from burning down)

- we were completely robbed of nancy and mike sibling interactions! i want nancy to embrace her nerd side again by joining hellfire's dnd campaigns and having a star wars movie night with her brother (plus their relationship reminds me of myself and my brother and im projecting)

robin's kids: max, el, and will

- max is the younger sister robin never had. the two are inseparable and can often be found hiding in the back room of family video waiting for steve to fall victim to their prank. max tries to teach robin how to skate Once. never again. (nancy gave them both a stern talking-to and neither one is willing to incite the Wheeler Wrath again)

- el grew up being different from her time in the lab. robin knows what it's like and shows her that it's okay to be different and that people will still love you for who you are! robin is often the chaperone for elmax date nights (accompanied by nancy of course, who else would drive?)

- will and robin bond over their shared love for the arts. they exchange cassette tapes and will begins to teach robin how to paint (which she loves because she gets to create something with her hands!) she becomes his gay mentor™ and silently Dares anyone to even think about messing with will

steve's kids: all of them <3

- he's been the best goddamn babysitter this group of teens could ever ask for. they all know that they could call on him at any hour of the day and he would show up on their doorstep, spiked bat in hand. he still shares the special father/son bond with dustin but loves all of his kids equally

eddie's kids: the hellfire club

- post-vecna, everyone is inducted as an honorary member of hellfire. where steve's parenting is measured, eddie's is chaos. he chaperones the kids to their first party, allowing them to drink but always checking in and making sure that they're not having too much fun. he plays concerts for them, learning the chords to any songs they ask him to

(bonus: chrissy and vickie's kid is mike because who better to piss nancy off than Little Brother himself

ok one last post before i go to bed- it’s sapphic senate hcs!! some of these apply to general sapphic senate (and i mean the giant version, including the core four + barb kali and eden (tho tbh knowing so little abt eden makes it difficult so there won’t be as much of her)) and also my mythical moment au sapphic senate

quick reminder for the mm au we got vampire!nancy, werewolf!robin, witch!chrissy and witch!kali, naturespirit!barb, and human gfs vicki and eden :)

being absolutely fr vicki is sooooo tired dealing with her cursed gfs. she loves them! but they r so much all the time she deserves a nap

vampire!nancy, when she found out wtf was going on, refused to feed on anyone close to her out of real fear that she wouldn’t know how to stop (even though a lot of them offered bc Nancy Please Don’t Starve) and that actually ended with nancy putting a very wrong place wrong time carol in critical condition after she ran into a struggling nancy outside of her house (possible max induced karmic punishment?? haven’t decided yet) but this freaks nancy tf out and now she has a schedule for feeding so she never does smth like that again

in all honesty i don’t know how kali would meet up w the sapphic senate UNLESS the core 4 + barb left hawkins for a night out and ended up running into kali who was like omg.... sapphics... and decided to see what was going on only for nancy to clock someone was following them in like 15 minutes

this leads to a “wtf r u doing” confrontation and everyone having the standard “oh no she’s hot” moment. im actually thinking kali creates an illusion to leave the situation without MORE confrontation but they end up seeing each other again afterwards and slowly absorb kali by osmosis

my general idea of the sapphic senate absolutely includes ronance + chricki being a sapphic friend group only to merge after one (1) night of wine and truth or dare (in an effort to recapture their stolen youth ofc).

they all got promoted from girlfriend in law to girlfriend eventually

listen i just think that wolf form ww robin and bat form vamp nancy r incredibly real (bat nancy napping on wolf robin’s head i think its true)

chrissy, being the upside down tuned medium, actually talks to a dead fred quite often, where he finds closure bc chrissy is real life nice and listens to him

the very small house that all of them temporarily share is daytime proof for nancy’s sake, who’d rather be able to get up and walk around during the day instead of hiding under a blanket in a dark room waiting for the sun to go down

they wish they could ww proof the house to keep robin inside and from getting into trouble during the full moon but it is Too Small and everything would break so nancy, kali, and barb have to act as herders as best they can to keep robin in a safe area.

nancy sits in the lap of whoever she’s feeding from in the moment im speaking MY truth

also think that if they all went out on a late night date and the sun started rising they’d have to carry bat nancy in a backpack to keep her from getting wicked sun burn (she complains the whole time ofc)

robin is who nancy feeds off of the most simply because she heals so fast and regenerates everything nancy took in a like an hour so she feels the least bad (robin insists it’s bc she tastes the best and nancy always vehemently denies it (kinda is true though)).
