Q: Do you like to read series which are bigger than a trilogy or quartet?

A: Even though I feel like three books is an ideal length for a series, I really don't mind reading series which have more than three or four books. The story and the characters are very important to me, if I find those things interesting or fall in love with them, then I will definitely keep reading till the end of the series!

I can’t be the only one who thinks Cassandra Clare deserves a TV show or Movie series that is actually worthy of her books.

I could just imagine a Television series that follows the main series TMI and spins off into TDA but also has back info and flashbacks from TID!?!

My brain literally can picture how it could all be put together so beautifully and instead we get stuck with the movie and the “shadow hunters”

Clary Fray/ Fairchild

An artistic spirit and a caring person. She discovers the world of Shadowhunters earlier in her life and she easily becomes one of them. She is stubborn and reckless but she helps her family and friends with any way that she can. 

One of the first book characters that I loved and admired. The Shadowhunter universe is without a question a world that I would love to live in.

• BOOK 9 • I have to say I've heard mixed reviews about this book series, many saying the writing and characters are feeble attempts at creating a good story and whatnot. All I can say is screw those people because I enjoyed this series more than I could ever describe in words. It's seriously written in such a way that even if you're told about every event and spoiler throughout any of the books, you will still be amazed at how those happenings come about. Cassandra Clare places twists into the story that you wouldn't have ever thought of no matter how much you ponder, and I very much enjoyed the sarcasm and humour throughout all the books. All the major events are well woven together in a way where you really don't know what will happen and Cassandra Clare is very creative with her ideas of the several different supernatural races in the story as well as her own principles of Shadowhunters and their world. The characters are interesting and definitely not boring, they're thoughts and actions frustrated me sometimes, but it makes it all the better and more suspenseful to read. The descriptions gave me a clear image in my mind of what was happening, and I often found myself pulled into the world and politics of the Shadowhunters. Quite plainly? I love it. The building feelings and love between the main characters, Clary and Jace, along with the action and adventure are thrilling and enticing. I finally started the Mortal Instruments series, and I’m about 100 pages into City of Ashes.

I spent about 30 minutes last night trying to explain Clary and Jace’s relationship to my fiancé while simultaneously squealing with discomfort, confusion, and terror about what sort of emotions this book is about to take me through.
