Actually, now that I'm thinking about it. Yuuei may be the one school that gives their kids just a tad bit more free will.

Already talked about it in another post, but the dorm rooms are individually unique. Some even were decorated that would make you think "that cannot be allowed" like Koda having a pet or Aoyama's abundance of mirrors.

Then there's the uniform bit.

Some of the students don't wear the standard shoes like Midoriya and Todoroki. Some don't wear the ties or jackets. Some wear accessories and makeup and I don't think having dyed hair is even a concern given in-universe, it's very common for people to have outlandish hair colors and styles due to quirks.

Compare Yuuei to other schools and you'll see some differences.

Shiketsu students wear their hats with their hero costumes and Ketsubutsu students' looked very uniformed when they first appeared. Same shirt worn the same way and I don't recall anyone wearing their bottoms different from their peers. Even the anime-only schools had everyone dressed the same way. The Seijin (ninja) and Seiai (all girls) schools.

Visually, it supposed to help differentiate the schools for the Provisional License Exam arc, but let's think deeper than that.

Who is the principal of Yuuei? Nezu.

Why does that matter? His backstory! He was experimented on, caged. I doubt he would want anyone to feel that way, so while he does have rules, as long as the students follow those rules they are free to express themselves.

Izuku having a day off, just to relax and class was not informed. Entire class freaks out thinking izuku went on another vigilante arc and run around like like headless chickens looking for him.

Izuku was found at an animal shelter were he was petting a therapy kitten

Izuku now is required to have a tracker at all times.

He doesn’t think much about having to tell anyone where he’s going or what he’s doing, but he wants to take a walk!

Well, tragedy strikes when someone asks if he wants to train or study with them. He’s Not In His Room.

Why isn’t Midoriya problem child izuku not in his room or anywhere to be found on campus right after a vigilante stunt?

Things devolve from there.

No notes this time, but is that a good or bad sign? Who’s to say?

Aizawa is so tired. He is loath to admit that he cares for his problem child, but he is still his to protect and where the fuck did that little shit run off to now?

Why can’t this small child with a literal hero complex just talk to him for once in his all too young life?

All might, despite being one of the ones to encourage izuku to take a day off, is very much freaking out

Class A is. So stressed. Aizawa doesn’t want them to help search for him, because he tries to remind them that it could just be nothing, maybe he went home to see his mother! That sounds like him!

But after a call to Inko, he is even more tired. Midoriya is not there. Inko is now worried as well.

He tells the class not to go searching for him, but nobody listens.

I like to think that inko is the most calm in this situation. She’s like, oh, he’s probably just going for a run or walking around! Yeah, he likes to be outside! He’s such an energetic kid! I’m so proud of him! And class A and the teachers are just in shambles

Eventually, they pass an inconspicuous little pet store on their search for the green bean

Someone sees a fluffy green head of hair and all but sprints into the shop with little explanation other than, “THERE!”

Izuku is none the wiser about the hectic day his friends and mentors have been having.

He had turned his phone off :(

He didn’t want to frighten the kittens if he got a call :(

They’re so soft, guys and they just want love and affection :(

Aizawa stalks up to the store in all his angsty ways like the grim reaper and tells izuku that UA is going to implement a system where leaving the campus requires a staff member to be told beforehand and to accompany the student. No exceptions.

It’s a shame no one had talked to nezu really. He had been watching the whole time. Ah, love and learn. Maybe next time

I love how Shouto decide to use his fire side to support his ice side so that he wont freeze, opposite of what his father wanted him to do, just to save his brother from burn to death. And this is how Shouto vs Touya happens.

Unlike Dabi, Shouto had a chance to move on and heal in UA. This is why he could find a way. Instead of focusing hatred and past, he could focus on future and what he actually need, what he can.

Meanwhile, Dabi who was too damaged and never got a chance to move on, only focus able to his past. His thoughts were limited by his abuser's desires. This is why he end up imitating him even though he doesnt want to. He is unable to see his brother and himself as invidual, thats why he cant see the similarities. Thats why he uses ‘flashfire’.

Shouto knows how to be blinded and stuck in past, this is why he could empathize with his brother.

 Honestly, i wish he had more conversation with Deku, Uraraka and others about this "saving villains" thing, like i mentioned in this post but anyway, i am glad for TodoDeku conversation in this chapter. Deku is worried about Shouto's having to fight against his brother but Shouto explains his plan to him and talk about his power, thanking him again cause that day Midoriya reach out to him was the reason he could be able to open his eyes.

I wonder, this fight will end here or not cause Shouto mentioned class A became a safe place where he could be himself and supported by them but actually, Dabi also had/has league for this so even if Shouto opens Dabi's eyes, i wonder how it will continue cause i think there are still things that needs to be adressed. Well, hopefully, we will see.
