I've been meaning to ask, is Kokichi's black ring meant to be an ace ring? I only ask because it's black and on the finger one would typically wear an ace ring.

Opinion on the protagonists of the game in the debate club, you’ve already gone over Makoto, and briefly touched Hajime, I want to see if you’d include Kaede or Shuichi?

In the scenario where they're the 79th class, sure! I can just picture Kaede taking Shuichi to debate club with her (because it was not his idea to go, but she thinks it might be fun).

I would say Kaede would distinguish herself by reaching near-Nagito levels of willingness to argue hard and well for points she doesn't actually agree with all that much. Except Nagito is doing it to provoke people to refute him and Kaede is doing it because it's fun to see things a different way and maybe even be the bad guy a little. (Not indiscriminately, of course. Let's say, debates about class schedules, campus life, library policies, that kind of stuff. She's not being politically monstrous.)

Shuichi, again given this isn't a life or death thing, would mostly stay quiet unless a glaring contradiction goes unacknowledged for a particularly long time. After enough days in debate club, he'll work his way up to a more proactive role, but at first he'd mostly be staring in awe at the existing powerhouses. He would admire Makoto. He already admires Kaede and has a general respect for the upperclassmen, but debate club initiates Makoto into the ranks of people Shuichi's moral bias favors, alongside Kaede and Kaito.

Kaede is frenemies with Makoto, but he does not know it. She sees him as the final boss of debate club and cannot wait to destroy him in a debate one of these days, and he's just like "Oh yeah, kouhai, nice."

So this lovely scene is the day that Class 78-A and B graduated. Huge celebration of course but this specific moment has some of the extroverts enjoying a karaoke session organized by Ibuki, Satsuki, and Mikako. (@pyropsychiccollector they are still agents of chaos (人◕ω◕)*****) And not to mention Kinari and Sayaka have buried the hatchet a year prior. Yes. This scene is chaos but beautiful chaos. Sayaka and Kinari wearing their idol outfits and having fun, Ibuki going crazy with the cha-cha beads, and Haruka playing the tambourine~ Setsuka helped herself to some alcohol since hey she's graduated so why not right? Taruhi and Chisa decided to play chaperone to make sure everyone stays in line (Or in Taruhi's case to make sure Setsuka doesn't get too carried away with the drinking). Hell, despite Junko's personal feelings towards Chisa even she is willing to enjoy this very special day and drink the coffee Chisa made for her and Kizuna. Speaking of Kizuna, she's going to be sad to miss everyone in class 78 but they won't be apart for too long. At least Angie puts such thoughts away as she enjoys seeing Aruma rope Maiko into some perverted fun shenanigans. Ah yes, the joys of being young (人◕ω◕) However, this is just a fraction of what happened that day. Many tears were shed, many people were sad and happy, and more importantly, many people enjoyed their time at Hope's Peak despite the ups and downs. This is in essence what the Hope Universe is about. Giving everyone a happy ending.

He was by no means weak, but carrying lots of stuff had less to do with strength and more with balancing — which he wasn’t exactly exceptional at. “I just uh, need to deliver this to the storage room down the hall. Apparently it’s to prepare for the school’s festival or something…” he explained, as he led the way. “Did your class decide what to do for the festival yet? Mine still hasn’t ‘cause everyone want different stuff. It’s a disaster.”

i don't know anything about Rantaro yet as i haven't played v3 but it's hilarious to me in the Summer Camp universe that people still don't really know what his Deal is (he's still "Ultimate ???")

What if...the V3 cast...were also in the undead AU...as a treat...

Rantaro is the lucky student, because someone has to be. He actually does not have his whole class in check on nearly the same level that Makoto and Nagito do.

First of all, where Makoto and Nagito became the objective main characters of their respective classes, Rantaro is very much not. His class has devolved into factions, and he's just one player, in the scheme of things. Granted, he's the player who tries to keep them from getting out of hand, but he didn't step into the role of leader pretty much at all.

At first, he just underestimated how much his undead classmates would persevere; he thought he could just lock the classroom door and they would stay in and he could focus on other things during the day (like the mystery of where exactly in the school the virus came from, because it strikes him as pretty convenient that the lucksters are immune and he wants to know if the school did this on purpose. Also, he wants to know what's going on with the reserve course. What are all those students even doing, now that the faculty has left? Who is leading them? What protections have they made for themselves?), and then come back to feed them later. But it turns out he genuinely needed to stay near them.

Some of his class is just fully out. Kokichi's loose. Kaito's loose. Maki's loose. Himiko is constantly in and out.

Keebo is obviously not undead, which is helpful, but he's also less effectual than Rantaro is at keeping the group contained.

Angie is actually kind of helpful in that regard, despite being undead, because she seems to have some kind of fixation on staying in the classroom, to the point where even if the others are escaping, she will stay where she is and a few of them will stay because she's staying. The problem is, when Keebo tries to take them all to the bathhouse, she will have to be carried out, and she will grip the doorframe and struggle to stay inside. She loves baths, but she refuses to voluntarily leave the room, so there's kind of a "No take, only throw" vibe to it. (Rantaro supposes she's somehow reached the conclusion that leaving the classroom is sinful.)
