Thinking about how Victor says that Henry would recite his favourite poems to him when he was upset, and that's forcing me to leap to the conclusion that Henry knows all of Victor's favourite poems off by heart so that he can recite them on command whenever it's required of him

the fact that every 19th century author manages to write the "sunshine and dead inside" friends to lovers ship dynamic every god damn time, it's phenomenal

Was anybody going to tell me that Frankenstein is actually gay or was I just supposed to read that in “Frankenstein, or, the modern Prometheus. Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, 1818" myself???

Best thing about a re read is noticing all the stuff you didn't catch about a book previously
Such as, when Henry and Victor first see each other again, the carriage Henry is in stops next to Victor right before Henry gets out, even though Victor was just standing by the road
This suggests to me that Henry noticed Victor standing there, did a double take and got really excited when he realised it was him, and frantically tried to get the driver to stop the carriage in the middle of the road just so he could jump straight out
