also been thinking about joker doing the bare minimum to inflict the maximum psychological distress. specifically what i was thinking about was jason having been drugged at least once, and god it was painful and brutal. this time, joker shoves sugar pills down his throat, or jason takes them willingly but his hands are shaking the whole time and he almost vomits when they touch his tongue. he's thinking it'll be horrible and awful again but the sensation isn't coming right (it isn't coming at all) but joker continues on as if the pills were real, mocking his slow movements or sleepy eyes and jason's losing his mind and nothing even happened

lmao having an oc is so fun and it's even more fun when that oc is like,, an alien species and have particular traits related to them.

HOWEVER!! sometimes there isn't enough information on something so you just made shit up.

for example: i was putting together a timeline for Tay'kaa's life and had the Chagrain Wookieepedia open - completely forgot that they're canonically like,, tadpoles as babies and I was like "fuck that messes a little with what I had for him" so I was like,, "okay no problem. I can work around it! How long are they tadpoles for?"

No information on how long they're tadpoles for. Just that,, they are tadpoles and they come in like pods of maybe two or three. Somewhat helpful but not enough. I need to know when they stop being tadpoles so I can have a clear age for when I can start to inflict trauma onto the poor guy.

ANYWAYS - couldn't fuckin find anything so I was like,, fuck it let's turn to the real world.

Apparently frogs are tadpoles for about 14 weeks! Awesome. I can use this. HOWEVER - 14 weeks as a tadpole is way too short for Tay'kaa - I need him a little older than that before I can do some real damage to him - but 14 years is TOO LONG and I only now thought about 14 months, but that's too short too.

Keep in mind I'm doing this shit without knowing how long Chagrians canonically live and if they like age normally or whatever,, but I'm assuming that they do because Wookieepedia doesn't say otherwise-

Okay so what do I do??

Easy! Just calculate the percentage of how long of a frog's lifespan is spent as a tadpole and use that number as the number of years a Chagrian is a tadpole for!

So apparently an average frog lives for like,, 10-12 years??? Which was surprising because I thought it would be less,,, but whatever okay? I need to figure out the percentage of 14 weeks to 10-12 years - so first you gotta find out how many weeks are in 10 years (it's like 521). Now what?

Look I am a screenwriting major with a minor in creative writing. I haven't taken a math class since fall semester of freshman year. Idk how the fuck to do percentages.

So I pulled up a percentage calculator and did 14 of 521 and got 2. something (idk) and BOOM!

With that I have decided Chagrians are tadpoles for two years and that works perfectly for my fic alright? alright.

He simply chuckles and spins you around happily, snapping his fingers to change the song into something more romantic

You can't help but laugh at the poor soul, putting a hand on your hip as you whip around to face him-

"Husband, actually~ My name is Alastor though maybe you'll recognize my other name! The Radio Demon~ Maybe you've heard of me?"

It's such a treat to watch the cocky demon lose his composure in fear and so sexy to watch your husband be the cause of it

The demon is so much larger than Alastor but he's practically cowering away from him, Alastor grinning at him as he tilts his head

"Look uh-I'm sorry! I didn't realize-"

Your husband tuts at the demon, antlers already growing as he morphs into his larger demonic form

You can't help but blush at how sweet Alastor is being, rushing to your rescue like this

"Didn't realize what? That you were hitting on my wife? You think I would just stand by and let you think you have a shot with her? She's much too far out of your league, unfortunately."

He's so cute when he's jealous

He shrinks back down to his normal size and kisses your hand before wrapping an arm around you as you two walk together

Dust is like a spider. If he likes you, and wants you, rather than any big grand 'events' occurring (like confessions or dramatic kisses) you'll just slowly but surely find yourself ensnared into a situation that looks suspiciously like a relationship with him. One moment, Dust is just a handsome quiet guy whose weird friends keep remarking on how much he seems to like you. The next, you wake up and you've been sharing a bed for three months and he's in the next room making breakfast.

You know two Dusts. The first Dust is there when any other people are around. 'Hard to read' is an understatement, his face rarely moves, he takes if you've got nothing nice to say don't say anything to heart so he never says anything to the clowns he has to work with. He might soften at the sight of you, but that's about it.

The second Dust appears when it's just the two of you. Though still quiet and difficult to read, he's much gentler, much more silly and Sans-like, his face often has a small smile. He'll talk to you, though his sentences are short they're still full sentences. This Dust is only for you.

The longer you're alone together, the more Sans-like he becomes.

He likes casual loving touch. It's his go to. Faces are hard, words can miss their mark; a gentle tap of his claws against your palm says more than most words could anyway. Every time he walks past you, he touches your hip lightly, he nuzzles the side of your head when you sit against his side, he plays with your hair when you're tired. Touch succeeds where words often fail him.

His Papyrus warmed up to you very quickly. Where he used to goad Dust into thinking about how easy it would be to kill you, now he goads Dust into killing people who upset you.

He does have his romantic moments. Alone together, he moves and acts with such tenderness - nuzzling you, holding your hands, mumbling caring things. Since his moments of emotion are so rare, when he does try for you, it's heartstopping.

He's good at sensing when people feel insecure. Usually, he uses that skill to needle those he doesn't like. With you, he's always sure to lay on the Quiet Guy Charm when you seem upset or unsure.

... Dust's violence is the hardest to stop. Unfortunately. The other bad guys have quick instincts and sudden, easy-to-diffuse bursts of anger. Dust will simmer for months before choosing the perfect time to lash out. Some guy at a bar will harass you, Dust will very peacefully step in the way... then six months later the dude's body is found riddled with stab wounds in some ditch three hours' drive away.

At least he does it out of the way.

Lowkey I feel like she would hilariously have her daughter held in one arm while answering the door to Lyney, and tell him to go on another mission while shielding the child in her encircled arm.

And Lyney would just stare wondering if that’s really the fourth Fatui harbinger, who’s currently hugging a child protectively.

She finds it oddly comfortable to come home to her wife and daughter at home, having both you and your kid in her arms as the three of you would spend time like a normal family.

Although she may not show it, Arlecchino gets kind of emotional over this. She wasn’t accustomed to coming home to just pure peace and tranquility rather than never ending business and violence. It was nice.

Subtly, if you have to go out for something, or if either of you have a responsibility to share, she ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS, tries to make some sort of excuse to stay home with your daughter.

She never outright says it, but she always has a convinient ploy of reasons as to why she should stay home that day.

Most of the time, she uses the excuse that she wants you to have a break from the kid.

You see right through her, but who cares it’s adorable.

When your daughter gets a bit older, Arlecchino initially lies to her whenever she goes out on missions. At first, she’d vaguely state that it was just “business that she needed to take care of,” and then come home covered in blood.

She definitely lied saying it was ketchup once.

Of course she isn’t able to hide it forever, but your child understands since that is her father after all.

My headcanons for Art the Clown

Note: sorry for long waiting, I had some stuff to do. But I watched this movie last night, just can't not to write something

• Suppose that by some miracle you interested him, and Art changed his mind about killing you.

• Art is a man of the moment, of impulse, in this regard he is like a child. If he wants something, he will get it, no matter how. If he's interested in you, he'll get you and keep you.

• Again, he is quite childish, and since he cannot speak, all his emotions are visible in his body language and antics. His childish behavior can also manifest itself in frequent insults. He will be sitting on the couch with his arms folded and fundamentally avoiding your gaze. Try to guess what he's offended about. And it's better to do it quickly, before the desire to tear some human flesh wakes up in him. • he also love movies. he has an letterboxd account which he is religiously active on. also, he give extra stars to the movies you watch togheter just because he is on a good mood.
