Hey I just wanted to say that you've really inspired me! I love your headcannons, your art and also your character analysis'! And your whole rebranding? Absolutely cool, it's really neat!

It's super cool how you put so much effort into your research and how your writing has all these little bits of detail woven into it but it's also just really pleasing to read!

Also your whole opinion on shadowpeach is super neat! Tbh, the fandom made me think that Macaque was gonna be my favourite character, but then I actually watched the show and the whole tormenting children thing DID NOT sit with me (Like I get he's kind of a victim but the fandom REALLY loves to exaggerate it sometimes??)

Also, was it LMK that got you in interested in Journey to the West or was it the other way around? And what do you think was Azure, Peng and/or Golden Tusk's views on Macaque and Wukong's relationship? {Like, for example, did they see Macaque as being Wukong's lacky/sidekick?}

Ngl the fandom will always like... shift away from actual characterization and basically treat the characters like they're their ocs when they're not. and it's all fun and games! but it takes away from what makes Macaque Macaque yknow? make him a good father figure and you take away the fact he has never actually cared for any of the kids in the show he just did one (1) thing and suddenly uh father figure ig cnjdksncjkds

I got invested into Journey to the West because of a silly spanish parody song summarizing Sun Wukong's origins and then I remembered seeing a trailer for LEGO Monkie Kid and found the pilot on a random website haha

Idk tbh but from what Peng says about Macaque and his unwavering loyalty—I'm pretty sure they (all) viewed them as this... inseparable pair? Just a couple of besties. I'm sure that was annoying to witness sometimes lmao
