Introduction:

In the Mogai Multiverse server, there were questions about what the Cointober prompts would be for this year, especially as they have not been posted as of yet. There was discussion over whether an individual was elected to host the event or who was to make the prompts. In the end, we assumed that individuals simply took up initiative to make the prompts and put them out there, as there seemed to be no official person chosen to host Cointober last year. Due to this, a few others in the server (@vesicelestial, @bees--on--toast, @magitoki, @queermogaigremlin, and @kiruliom) alongside myself all worked together to create this year’s 2022 Cointober prompt list. We created a total of 40 prompts, filling up the days of the month of October and adding an additional 9 prompts to even the number out and provide alternatives for those who are uncomfortable or unsure of what to coin for a specific day. The theme for this Cointober overall was Autumn, as there are many holidays throughout the month of October that are often not included in events like these. In order to be fair and inclusive to those who do not celebrate Halloween or to those who do celebrate other holidays, we decided it was best to forgo any inherent holiday prompts and allow people to choose to associate it with any holiday of their choice if they wish to do so.

Rules & Information:

I cannot think of any rules that would be necessary for this event, as it is an activity that is just for fun or inspiration this October, but here are some things you may need to know!

1. There is one prompt for each day of October. It is encouraged to follow the schedule and do one for each day, but it is far from required to do so.

2. You can do any prompt late for any reason you wish. Though this event is labelled Cointober, you can truly do it at any time, any month of the year.

3. If you do not wish to coin a term for a specific prompt for any given reason, you are not obligated to. You may choose to skip that day in the event, or select one of the extra prompts if you would like.

4. If you really wish to do so, you may coin something for every single prompt in the event. The alternative prompts are not limited only to those who do not wish to coin under a certain prompt.

5. The whole point of the event is to have fun. Feel free to do this event in any order, at any time, in any way that you would like.
