*Minor Spoilers* It's not often that I can write a rec post immediately after reading a fic, but I'm able to now, and more than that, I'm BUZZING to talk about this fic!! This was so good!!

In this human AU, Crowley and Aziraphale are coworkers at an advertising firm with a complicated past. Right off the bat, it's a setting that works perfectly. Aziraphale works on an upper level and Crowley on one of the lower ones, so it parallels perfectly to the canon of Heaven and Hell being different levels of the same office building. Aziraphale hates Crowley for reasons you'll find out, and when he is paired up with him for a company-mandated hike, well, he's not happy. I loved their chemistry, the banter, the stupid puns. Really, everything in the first half of the story kept me super engaged and fulfilled even if it had ended there.

But then we get to the next half of the story. Here is where it went into overdrive for me. It's a much more casual fandom for me, but I've been an X-Files fan since childhood. Usually, the plots of episodes are really hazy for me until I'm actually rewatching them. So, it took me a while to make the connection on the "loosely based on an X-Files episode" tag. Ohhhh, what a genius inspiration!!! This is a sex pollen fic, so expect some uncontrollable sexual urges. But more than that, expect things to not be as they appear. I simply cannot say more, you need to find out for yourself how this plays out.

This is so, so, so much fun. I loved this a lot. My only complaint is that it's not a million words long and it ended. Please, more X-Files inspirations/crossovers. Oh my god, I didn't realize how much I needed that. After dark read that I hope you guys also enjoy!

i love it when bad is very specifically a good roleplayer by giving other people good prompts. like casually bringing up wilbur now to tallulah. or when he put missa in the petting zoo. or all those times he Tormented the Lesbians so they could protect each other from him. its just so !!!! I love watching roleplayers be considerate of other roleplayers and gleefully hand over something they Know the other person's character can react to. i've seen cellbit do it, too (that time he handed his knife to bbh. oh my god). it's not a rare thing, and it's possible to be a good roleplayer without keeping that sort of considerate back and forth in mind, but its one of my favourite things to notice. foolish does it too, sometimes- i haven't watched him much, but i did take note of when he Made Sure to bring jaiden along with him on a cucurucho quest. and basically every interaction he had with bad when the eggs were missing. its just so so good

The sheep betrayal makes me so fucking emo cause its like, there's a bunch of little homeless kids who help out a fellow kid, no questions asked, only to find out that kid is a powerhouse and he's agreed to tag along and he protects you but instead of feeling protected you get scared of him and the idea that one day he might realize his potential and leave you to fend for yourself once again. And you've seen his power so you know if he ever uses it against you its over. So you do anything you can to make sure that never happens. On the other hand there's chuuya who fights for these kids with his life and thinks of them as family and he's so emotionally attached that even after the betrayal there's no question in his mind about whether to continue to protect the sheep or not. He just does.

ah, bird dog, my beloved! (I just came up with that on the spot, so if you hate it, um, tough? jkjk) sorry I took so long to answer this. I thought pulling the links would be easier on desktop, but then my cat static shocked my ancient computer to death, so I put off doing it. any case, I am actually quite stoked to get this ask so, let's go:

Assigned Lovers on Earth: E. good omens. m/m, a/c, 32,868 words, 7/7 chapters. this one is special to me because it's the first fic I wrote in six years. I had this idea and had to write it: what if, after the body swap, heaven and hell try to assign them new love interests to keep them apart?

Burns Hot Enough to Last: E. good omens. m/m, a/c. human au. 3,675 words, 1/1 chapters. I really loved writing this one shot where they met once, years ago, on a dance floor. since then, they often think of the one who got away. until another dance floor and another meeting.

Collaborative Activities: E. good omens. m/m, a/c. human au. 12,776 words, 1/1 chapters. this was one of my favorite ones to write ever. co-workers au, spooky, sex pollen, x-files references, funny moments. this is my pride and joy, right here. and *slaps roof* this baby can hold so much smut.

Stairway to the Booth: E. good omens. f/f, a/c. human au. 20,767 words, 4/4 chapters. I loved putting my cinema knowledge to work in this one and writing them as ladies. crowley owns a movie theatre that plays old films, and aziraphale cosplays as a character from one of them. they meet, and it's basically love at first sight.

Before 9: E. MSR, 1,888 words, 1/1 chapters. I had to go back and get at least one from the x-files fandom, even though they're all a minimum of six years old (this one coming up on nine years?!?! how?). before 9 is close to my heart because I wrote it with a friend of mine, and we had so much fun doing it. sexy cake baking, anyone?

Information for the new Ask Blog

Alright, good timezone, my lovely readers!

I'm writing this partially because today is my birthday and also because it just now hit me I'm almost at 100 followers, so this is a present for all of you as well!

As most of you already know, I have brainrot and a never-ending hyperfixation on superhero cartoons at the moment- and in honor of that, I wanted to make a collaborative blog! Now, it is going to be multi-muse which means I would be playing more than one character because yes, it is an ask blog. However, this is where you come in and I'm hoping I can get enough people interested in the day.

The plan is for some of you to come up with your own ask blogs that fit the theme and it's a joint project. I could also technically allow you to co-write on the blog, but I don't know if I'm comfortable with it. Instead, as part of the rules I plan on making, I do plan on following anyone who makes a blog as part of a crossover I'm working on, but also- I just want to do something fun.

Now, I did have two interested parties-

I honestly do not mind which characters you guys write as long as it's another superhero cartoon; this can be anything from Ben 10 to Kim Possible (to me, it counts-) to Danny Phantom. Go wild, it can be villains and/or heroes. The sky's not even the limit. Now I do not have the whole scope of the plot so to speak figured out but it is going under the pretense that the superheroes are at least aware of one another, or will be aware of one another during the course of the blog.

Some Thoughts I Already Had

Hero Districts refers to the different cities that heroes reside in. As per old customary rules, the districts were meant to be kept separate so as not to get involved with other affairs and well, since not all of them were always districts (such as in Danny Phantom's case), there wasn't always need to enter those cities.

I know at least two of us are adults and despite my passive enjoyment for spiciness, this is not going to be the blog for that. One, it just wouldn't fit the theme I aim for and for another- my followers are mixed ages and I'd just rather keep some of my more mature content separately (unless it's angst and some forms of violence, but that's different-).

Due to some event, the heroes of certain districts end up meeting and it begins defying the original laws set in place by the very old school Dragon Council, but of course- it's eventually going to catch the attention of certain foes.

I do plan on keeping a masterlist of all the muses and universes that take place within the joint crossover. You are given free range to choose whoever you want, in whichever fandom as long as it's superheroes. I. guess even Rwby counts but I've never seen it- so, I'll leave that for you to decide.

The blogs are of course, a combination of character asks and for roleplay purposes. I know this is a lot to read, so I'll add more later- but if you're still interested, just tell me the name of your muse(s) and the fandoms they're a part of in the comments and we can go from there.

when i was like 16, i wrote my first article about asexuality. it provided a brief overview (probably not done very well, retrospectively, but i was 16) (also the article probably doesn't exist anymore)

im basically 23 now. and im working on an article (but, like, slightly academic this time) about asexuality (and my favourite concept in humanities thus far, the capabilities approach)

i am sleep deprived, i am in pain from my period, i am feeling horrible physically.

but i am reading and taking notes and fuck, this is so exciting and it's gonna be amazing (i hope, anyway)

and yes, this is how i am procrastinating on writing my bachelor thesis. if asexuality was considered more political, i'd write my BA thesis about that... now i'm working on gender and education in Slovakia

what an incredibly odd interview. they did, like, 80% of the talking. I'm not sure if they were expecting me to like interject or say things in response or something? I don't think I got the job. idk. on the one hand just carrying on talking and not asking much more might be something you do if you already decided no early on and are just biding time. on the other hand idk why you'd spend so much time detailing things about the job to someone you've decided against rather than just ending earlier. I guess if you were kinda hoping to nudge them into saying something else? if so I definitely missed the hint.

they only actively asked, like, 3 standard questions (tell me about yourself, what languages have you worked with, and a project you are proud of). they spent probably like 15 minutes telling me about shit they do. occasionally they'd pause to be, like, "do you have any experience with that" mid-explaining, like they just remembered to check rather than, y'know, being in the business of interrogating me. which, like, I tried to answer with some details of things I've done with it but. yeah. there's only so much I can say about if I've used postgres.

and then we spoke about the assessment I'd submitted briefly; I think they were reasonably happy with it but were maybe expecting me to say more words? I dunno.

I was expecting more, idk, technical questions or something. for their software engineer interview, they made me go through how I'd process the data for a specific scenario, for instance.

struggling to tell what the hell to make of this, lmao. guess I just gotta wait and see. I definitely think I should have said more words, somewhere, somehow. but idk beyond that.
