My Comics Kit for Photoshop is coming soon. Stay tuned and let me know in the comments which format you use! A4? American trade standard? Kids GN (5.5x8)?
Lately I'm focusing my efforts on some personal projects, besides the commissions, and here I bring to you a sneak peak into one of the biggest ones.
This insanity is called "Three Wanderers" and it's a story about three bards (not D&D) who are fighting to make it in a world that is hardly a nice place to be an artist. Sounds like reality, right?
A fantasy world that mixes elements of Western, Brazilian culture, and magic (wow girl, you're crazy xD).
I've working on this for a while now, the prologue is almost done and some chapters have already their script ready. It's all happening super slow, because I'm doing everything on my own, from writing, penciling and inking (all digital), lettering etc etc (also with some super valuable feedback from amazing friends). But yeah, this has been a lonely road for me, but pretty much a huge enriching and delightful one.
I'll keep posting updates on this project, talk about the settings and characters and show some concepts, mostly to keep myself motivated and trying to keep it alive.
" EIGHT LIMBS is a graphic novel that has been *years* in the works. It's a story about Muay Thai, found family, and why we make the choice to step into the ring."
With Small Press Expo around the corner, I've been hard at work at a comic I'll be debuting there, GHOST IN THE SHELLFISH! A suspected haunting in a local eatery leads to wild speculation among Laoban and the regulars about its causes, and even wilder speculation about its solution.
I'll be at table E6B at SPX on Sept 9-10 with copies of Ghost in the Shellfish, plus zines, prints, and stickers. More info soon!
