So, I'm finally starting Pokémon Ultra Sun, and I chose Popplio as my started. I named him Crescendo, cause Primarina is an opera singer. Then I started naming my other Pokémon after musical terms.

Pikipek is Confuoco.

Buneary is Grazioso.

Pichu is Maestro. Because he's a great conductor.

Interepretation: Boy With Love 작은 것들을 위한 시

With pink covered album and pink background of Boy With Love MV, delightful and happy boy with love is expressed. Little but certain happiness.

Based on the MV referring to the film "Singin' in the Rain", which depicts the transition from silent films to talkies, the music and BTS themselves are experiencing the change of time, having paradigm shift, we can see so. Also, a dubbing actress Kathy in "Singin' in the Rain" as shadowy person finally regained her own voice, which reminds me of RM's speech in UN last year, once he lost his own voice, he said, but recovered. Speak yourself, again.

Well, homage to "Singin' in the Rain" can be found in several scenes, as jumping into sofas, RM's solo standing on the stage, behind him several neon signs displaying BTS albums and songs' names. Colorful group dancing reminds me of Broadway Melody～Gotta Dance scene of the film.

Even the phrase "Good morning" in the film "Singin' in the Rain" is linked to the photo book of the album, members in pajamas, just brings us to such feeling as little but certain happiness also came to us.

Besides, featuring Halsey and using gradation pinks give us such message as that BTS stands on the side of feminsts(as symbolized pink gradations, and Halsey herself). Halsey supported Women's March, and she has stated "as a member of the LGBT+ community" once. Collaboration with Halsey is not just featuring female American singer for BTS but expressing links, ties with feminist and LGBT+. Pink gradation colors embrace not only visit of love and its joy but also feminist and diversity. What are meaningful and impressive pink colors!

Anyway, smiling lip of J-hope is just similar to Gene Kelly's!

And, across the album Map of the Soul shadow is mentioned several times. Carl Jung wrote about shadow as: in spite of its function as a reservoir for human darkness—or perhaps because of this —the shadow is the seat of creativity.

So about creativity, several symbols, Dionysus(ΔΙΟΝΥΣΟΣ Bacchus) from philospher Friedrich Nietzsche, shadow from Jung are described in the album this time, at the same time. Because creativity of BTS can not be explained just one word or phrase, Jung or Dionysus(Nietzsche) is mentioned to reach out the secret of BTS's creativity. This album is such full of intelligence just like shining kaleidoscope.

Dancing pose such like raising arms to express the heart's beating fast is popular but not for boy's band in korean pops, but for girl's group. I felt a kind of agender, genderless, gender-neutral and universal feature of K-Pop too, from the choreography in this song. While appealing with K-pop finger heart sign, the hand gesture of Spider Man or Dr. Strange, that is, American hand sign ILY sign also expresses love in MV. Universal, universal design-like choreography to express love is found.

From Boy In Luv(상남자) to Boy With Luv, as walking with love, they are walking with ARMY through their lives. Just like little but certain happiness(소확행), Boy With Luv.

IDOL at MMA

As lyrics and MV of "IDOL" already contain Korean traditional music and cultural images,the stage performing of IDOL in MMA(Melon Music Awards 멜론 뮤직 어워드 on Dec. 1st, 2018) was just like Augmented Reality. That is...

Behind J-Hope, dancers with three-drum-stands appeared. Well, these drums reminded me of 2NE1's "I am the best" MV. J-Hope threw the orange colored fan to Jimin, then Jimin held the fan, as if J-Hope passed a baton, as if Jimin catched the aerial fan. Jimin commanded the fan dancers. After his dancing, he threw white long silk scarf to Jungkook. Around Jungkook, dancers with white long cloths in their hands, just like the Monk Dance or Court Dance of Korean traditional culture. Finally, Jungkook wore Korean traditional mask. After his throwing the mask, the demonian mask changed into the big door. Like an illusion magic, o, what an Augmented Reality! The door opened, then dancers and musicians in white cloths came out, dancing to Korean traditional drums'n'bells, rhythm. Dancers and musicians are from 평인이승주무용단 광개토사물놀이、월드퓨전시나위.

Two mythic lions also cheerly danced to the music, which once appeared just behind Jungkook in the MV of "IDOL" featuring Nicki Minaj ver.. This time, lions danced with putting up their hair on forehead to showing Korean traditional lion masks.

ashley, hi!!! i'm studying in london this upcoming fall term, & i was wondering if you could give me any exciting advice, way cool places to go, etc.! :-D

Hay!  Yes!  Um the quick and dirty advice I'd give is:

1) Get all the touristy stuff out of the way first.  IDK some people love doing it over and over again but I personally don't need to see Big Ben up close more than once.  But the London Eye is fun, that I would go on more than once.

2) What uni are you going to?  If it is north of the river, don't be turned off to go south of it, especially if its an area that people wrinkle their nose at for really superficial reasons.

3) Go to Burrough Market.  Period.

4) My favorite part of London is Shoreditch/Brick Lane.  Fun shopping, lots of vintage stuff, hot people (lol ok lots of hipsters and indie fucks but you know me), really low key green spaces for picnicking, and REALLY amazing food, especially Indian food.

5) Go to Buttoned Down Disco.  Just look it up and plan accordingly.  It is my fave dance night in London.

6) Get something greasy past midnight at some little kabob shop, at least once.  It may actually be really really good if you happen to be near the right one.

7) Spend your money carefully! I learned this the hard way, it's really easy to go overboard really quickly.  

8) Try to get a student oyster card, you'll save a lot of money.  Seriously.

9) Explore other parts of the UK too if you can.  I loved my visit to Manchester, for example.  And Brighton!

10) If your living arrangements were anything like mine, it may be really easy to JUST be friends with other Americans and other study abroad people.  Dooon't limit yourself if you can help it.  A lot of people I studied with didn't really branch out of their American friends groups and, well, you're in another country, you may as well, you know?  Take advantage of tumblr/lj/whatever other online ppl you know for that too, honestly.  I did and I got to hang out with lots of amazing people and meet other people through them.  It's really really fun and they're great connections to have for future visits as well.  Can't get that if your only friends during study abroad are American.

11) Don't stand on the left side of the escalators in the Underground or I will have to personally come over there and kick your ass.  Like, there is nothing more annoying.

12) Go to more museums and galleries for me because I never get around to it :(  I still never went to Tate Modern and I reeeeally need to go next time I'm there.

13) Be daring, and adventurous, and a little spontaneous, but don't be a fucking idiot.  Which is, you know, common advice for anything really.  But when you're in a new country it bears repeating.  Stay safe and have a lot of fun, but don't feel like you're missing out if you aren't going out every night, even on weekends.  Like, you're a visitor but you'll also be living there for a pretty fair chunk of time.  Don't feel obligated to always have something to do and somewhere to go.

MV is starring Ken Jeong of The Hangover, Crazy Rich Asians, Dr. Ken, who admires Devon Aoki so much. Korean American actress Jamie Chung(once a candidate for Crazy Rich Asians movie) also appears. Soft EDM style mixed up with BTS member's lyrical and sweet singing, which can mesmerizes listeners. 空と風と星の詩人～尹東柱の生涯～

あらすじ ユン・ドンジュと従兄弟ソン・モンギュの 未完成の青春を描いた 『空と風と星の詩人～尹東柱の生涯～ 동주 DongJu; The Portrait of A Poet』（2015��）を ハートアンドハーツ・コリアンフィルム・ウィークで。 カン・ハヌル、パク・ジョンミン、キム・イヌ チェ・ホンイル、キム・ジョンパル、チェ・ヒソ シン・ユンジュ、ミン・ジヌン出演 シン・ヨンシク脚本 イ・ジュニク（イ・ジュンイク）監督。

（以下、映画の核心に触れる部分もございます） 脚本を書いたシン・ヨンシク監督が 熱い青春を描きたかった、とも語っていたが、 ユン・ドンジュの影であるソン・モンギュ （革命、独立運動的には）モンギュの影であるドンジュの対比は クライマックスの特高刑事によるそれぞれの取り調べのシーンで、 二人が交互にあらわれる場面で熱く迸る。 モンギュは独立運動に関わった立場から 日本側が捏造した調書の嫌疑を日本語で読み上げ 朝鮮語では 「本当にそうだったら、そう出来たら良かったのに」と吐露し悔しさを滲ませる。 日本側に捏造された「事実」を日本語で発すると同時に こちら側の「真実」を朝鮮語で伝え、打ち消していく。 二重言語、その間隙をつかって 嘘と真実を対照的に浮かび上がらせる。 一方ドンジュは 何もできなかった無力感から特高刑事の前で 「恥ずかしい」とつぶやく。 映画の中でドンジュは何度も「恥ずかしい」と口にするが それは序詩の 죽는 날까지 하늘을 우러러 한 점 부끄럼이 없기를, 息絶える日まで天（そら）を仰ぎ 一点の恥無きことを､（上野潤訳） の一点の恥ずかしさもないこと、を希って生きたこと、 につながり連なる。 詩人の魂、生が浮き彫りになる言葉。 監督自身も 윤동주 시인의 시에 부끄럽지 않게 찍으려고 노력했다 ユン・ドンジュ詩人の詩に恥ずかしくないように撮ろうと努力した（拙訳） と言うほど、映画には「恥ずかしさ」すなわち 人間らしく生きようとする心が通底もしていた。 同い年の従兄弟同士ながら 方向性は異なりもする一方 ドンジュの一歩前を行きながら どこかドンジュを守っている態もあったモンギュは 散文家の生で革命を希求し ドンジュは詩人の生で対照もなす。 散文と詩の対比、散文が光になり詩の影にもなり 詩と詩人が散文の影にもなり光にもなるように 交錯し照らし合ったドンジュとモンギュの未完成の青春が くっきりとモノクロの光と翳の画面に刻まれていた。 そして名もなき特高刑事は 役作りの上で弟を亡くした設定にしていた、 と演じた在日コリアンのキム・ウヌ氏が明らかにしていたように 取り調べをしながらドンジュたちがやがて弟のようにも見え... 目に涙を一瞬光らせてもいたのだ。 日本の軍国主義に忠実でありながら その特高刑事にも 人間としての「恥ずかしさ」を感じさせ、感じる心が生まれていたのではないか、 ついに疎通も（部分的に）可能だったのではないか、という余地も残しつつ 詩人の生の力を強く感じる演出でもあった。 （生前、詩人として評価を得られなかったユン・ドンジュが 彼自身の言葉で 取り調べ特高刑事の心は動かした可能性、 彼が吐露する恥ずかしさ、という言葉で日本人の心を動かした可能性を示唆もするよう。 ドンジュの生の詩人としての言葉の力を掬い上げてもいるような演出と感じた）

2016年に初めて観た時は辛く、書ける気がしなかったが... 創氏改名により （1941年度には標準授業時間の定めまでなくなり、 朝鮮語の使用は制限され聢り駆逐されて行った） 日本語で詩を書けば 日本の詩になってしまうから詩を止めたら、とドンジュに言った詩人鄭芝鎔の危惧も抱えつつ 詩を書き、詩集を出す苦悩もドンジュは秘めていたが... 日本が劣等感に満ちていたから 追いつめられているから、とモンギュの言葉を通して糾弾するように 畳み掛ける熾烈で力強い筆致でありながら いちばん最後に ドンジュがくみに詩集のタイトルを知らせるシーンを持ってきたのは 苛烈な時代、憎しみを経てなお、 和解を視野に入れて昇華するカタルシス。 特高刑事による取り調べのシーンが 激しくドンジュとモンギュを痛めつけ追いつめれば追いつめるほど 憎しみや恨み、残虐さへの反感は高まるが その告発で終わらせない、 その次元を超えて昇華したカタルシスの美しい調べと余韻。 なぜなら ドンジュが告げた詩集のタイトル （詩集のタイトルを決めるまでには紆余曲折、いろいろ悩んだそう） 「空と風と星と詩」の 最後の語「詩」は 「詩」だけは日韓共通の発音だから。 「私にも韓国語が出来たら良かったのに」と話していたくみにも 「詩」の部分だけは 「詩」として聴こえ Poetry として認識されていたことだろう。 「詩」という言葉で終わった映画は 日韓共通の音を持つ言葉「詩」の響きの余韻を残し 100年前から未来に希望をつなぐ予感も。詩の力、言葉の力で。 詩人の魂が現代に響く 余談ですが 立教大学（学生）による字幕では 最後の詩集のタイトルの訳が 「空と風と星と詩」ではなく 「天と風と星と詩」になっていたのがクリスチャンらしい... to be continued...!? buzz KOREA Click... にほんブログ村 韓国映画 にほんブログ村 映画 にほんブログ村 映画評論・レビュー にほんブログ村 韓国情報 にほんブログ村 K-POP にほんブログ村 Copyright 2003-2018 Dalnara， confuoco. （以下、映画の核心に触れる部分もございます） ナ・ホンジンの前作2作『チェイサー』 『哀しき獣 황해（黄海）』は 追い追われる不条理劇で 笑いは1ミリもなかった記憶があるが... 前作2作が古代ギリシャ悲劇とすれば 今回はドストエフスキーに進化した趣も。 あるいは、 悲劇の中の喜劇、 政（まつりごと）と祭祀（祭り事）の行き来やあわいも感じられ そのあたりはシェイクスピアか... 過去の作品と相違し （『チェイサー 추격자』も 『哀しき獣 황해（黄海）』もまったく 韓国映画らしい可笑しみなし） ポン・ジュノ『殺人の追憶 살인의 추억』を思い出させもする 「田舎の警察官」のナラティブ、テンポのずれ等で笑わせる... 演出の変化にも驚く。 （イ・ドゥヨン『警察官』も そのあたりの系譜だろうか...） 一休宗純 釈迦といふ いたづらものが世にいでて おほくの人をまよはすかな の通り 神・宗教が誕生した後の人類、人間世界（の混乱）を描いているようでもあり、 Если Бога нет, все позволено （神がいなければ、全てが許される from Братья Карамазовы）を 逆説的に表現したようにも見える。 また、ロベルト・ロッセリーニ Roberto Rossellini『無防備都市 Roma città aperta』 （脚本のひとりはフェリーニ Federico Fellini 監督）との共通点も感じる。 ドン・ピエトロ神父 Don Pietro Pellegriniが 「主が哀れんでくださらないと嘆くが 我々の罪は大きい」と相対化している視点も。 （スコセッシ監督『沈黙 サイレンス Silence』は 信仰のかたちについて考えさせられたが コクソンはもっと原初的、神がいるようになった文明世界についても 箱庭のように凝縮された田舎の村コクソンを見ながら考えさせられる） 約10年前 韓国ドラマは日本のドラマの水平的な人間関係以外に 神との対話など垂直的な関係もある、と書いていたが... 会話が噛み合っていない、 直截的な対話ではないにせよ... 日本人の男（キリストの再来なのだろうか）や 産土の神のような（村の自然を映すショットが何度も挟み込まれる） ムミョン（無名）と 謎解きのような会話が交わされもする。 アジアらしからぬ、 人間を（神など超自然的存在と対称化し）相対化した描き方が印象的。 アジア映画らしからぬ、しかし韓国だからこそ、韓国映画だから出来る描写。 （フィリピン映画はまだあまり観る機会がないが、 カトリック教徒の多そうなフィリピン映画の視点はどうなっているだろうか... 気になる） よそ者日本人をめぐる表現、呼称の揺らぎ、濃淡も興味深かった。 ある人は/ある時は 日本人の奴と言い指し ある時はふつうに日本人と呼ぶ。 役名は외지인 stranger 。 生物学的に解釈もすれば 「よそ者め」と得体の知れない余所者、異物を排除する 有機的な葛藤を経たカタストロフィ。 悪性腫瘍が（細胞分裂もし）増殖するような パンデミック pandemic のような...末路。 救済・治癒の方策として 妻は薬を買って来 夫は医者だ！とどなり 姑は悪霊祓いだと巫堂を呼び 同僚は神父代わりの助祭にすがる... 各人各様の「解答（あるいは救い）」の求め方は とある村の個人の身に降りかかった不幸として描かれてもいるが 社会の不幸の暗喩と右往左往するしかない人間の普遍的な弱点、愚かさでもあった。 さらに頼ってしまった解答や権力、権威を疑わず 疑念を吟味せず盲目的に信じて惑わされ 墓穴を掘ってしまう・滅びる過程と人類共通の昏迷。 人類の歴史、あるいはナ監督がインタビューで語っていたように キリストがこの世に「降りて来て」からの混乱。 信じることと疑うことの間の大いなる混同と混沌。 そんな壮大な歴史がコクソンに凝縮され集約されている感も。 また、穿った見方をすれば... 2016年の国政壟断で明らかになった 祈祷師一家が政治に政権中枢に入り込んでいたことも想起する。 （政まつりごとと祭り事の癒着。映画の企画はもっと数年も前からだったが） 悪霊を祓い、救済、手伝いをすると見せかけ 恣意的に悪霊を解釈し特定し 実は人々を惑わし自身の利益のために動いていただけのムーダン。 宗教の罪深さも示して。 「生きている者がどうして霊（鬼神）に？」という疑問は提示されていたのに... 信仰心はまったく持ち合わせていないが 冒頭引用されていた聖書の一節、 彼らは恐れ驚いて、霊を見ているのだと思った。 そこでイエスが言われた、「なぜおじ惑っているのか。どうして心に疑いを起すのか。 わたしの手や足を見なさい。まさしくわたしなのだ。さわって見なさい。 霊には肉や骨はないが、あなたがたが見るとおり、わたしにはあるのだ」 （ルカによる福音書24:37-39）や 登場人物のセリフから想起された聖書の一節が 映画と思考、そして現実とのあわいを往来させもする... 日本人の手には 聖痕スティグマータ stigmataがあった。 イエス・キリストが復活した時 トマスは彼らに言った、 「わたしは、その手に釘あとを見、わたしの指をその釘あとにさし入れ、 また、わたしの手をそのわきにさし入れてみなければ決して信じない」 （ヨハネによる福音書20:25） 見たものは 見たいように見ることが出来るし 信じたいように信じることも出来る。 また、見なくても信じることが出来る、信じてしまう場合もある。 理性や緻密な論理、確証のない状況で 見ること信じることは揺らぎながら鬩ぎ合い より複雑に、より惑わされるようになったキリスト後の世界が描かれている感も。 形而上学的に考えれば 見る～信じる間の回路が信仰のようになっている場合、 そして藁をもつかむ状況、葛藤もある状況では 権威のような絶対的断定論に、依存的信仰的思考に飛びついてしまう 人間が本質的に抱える脆弱さが問い直されている趣も。コクソンというジオラマ装置を通して。 1回観ただけだが、いろいろ考えると深くて興味深い。 「その後、イエスは十一弟子が食卓についているところに現れ 彼らの不信仰と、心のかたくななことをお責めになった。 彼らは、よみがえられたイエスを見た人々の言うことを 信じなかったからである」（マルコによる福音書16:14） しかし 「神」や超自然的権威（祈祷師など）にこんな風に言われたら、 「なぜ信じないのか、なぜ信じなかったのか」と問われ責められたら 理性が揺さぶられる衝撃と動揺に陥りもするだろう。 産土の神、土地の守り神らしきムミョンも 祈祷師イルグァンも（現代の政治家も） 信じろ、と言うけれど... 釣り糸をたれ、釣りに来たという日本人の設定や 「餌に食いついた」というムミョンのセリフからは 別の意味ではあるが この節を思い出した。 さて、イエスはガリラヤの海べを歩いて行かれ シモンとシモンの兄弟アンデレとが 海で網を打っているのをごらんになった。彼らは漁師であった。 イエスは彼らに言われた 「わたしについてきなさい。 あなたがたを、人間をとる漁師にしてあげよう」（マルコによる福音書1:16-17） ムミョンがニワトリが3回鳴くまでに、と言ったセリフからは 「ペテロよ、あなたに言っておく。 きょう、鶏が鳴くまでに、あなたは三度わたしを知らないと言うだろう」（ルカによる福音書22:34）も 思い出され... この後ペテロは泣いたのだった。 信じても信じなくても泣くことになるのだろうか... そして 泣き哭いた後でまた冒頭にもどるだろう、コクソンも。ダ・カーポのように ダ・カーポの歴史のように。 『哀しき獣』も 20世紀フォックス Fox 傘下 フォックス・インターナショナル・プロダクションズの投資を受けていたが 今作も製作はフォックス・インターナショナル・プロダクションズ。 *聖書の引用は日本聖書協会、口語1954年改訳版より。 to be continued...!? buzz KOREA Click... にほんブログ村 韓国映画 にほんブログ村 映画 にほんブログ村 映画評論・レビュー にほんブログ村 韓国情報 にほんブログ村 K-POP にほんブログ村 Copyright 2003-2017 Dalnara， confuoco.
