Intersections | Final Outcome: connectd app

I'm very happy with how my app "connectd" turned out. I like the concept of it and the design of it looks professional and authentic but still has the teen-appealing vibe to it to appeal to its main market.

This is the main screen for connectd, where you can see all your new friends post, the main menu down at the bottom where you can go through the app functions and turn on introvert mode and view your profile. It's also where you access messages.

This is the message board, where you and your new friends can message each other. The red dot signifies a new message and the timer on the side shows how much time you and your new friend have to talk to each other before all messages are removed from the app.

This is the new friends section, you can find friends based off proximity as well as activity, whether they're new to the app, and who's an active poster. You can simply tap the add button to add them as a friend and it sends a friend request to them.

Underneath is the just added, this is different to the message board as this is where chats go before either of you have begun talking.

This is your profile page, similarly set out to Pinterest and instagram, you can view both your posts and your messages in this section.

Once again, this is the logo for connectd. It's meant to tie in with the red and blue dots in the text on the app screen to look like a connecting train stop and I like how it turned out.

Overall, I really love how the app turned out. It has a lot of interesting features, a cool design, and an effective colour palette. I only wish I had given myself more time to decide things about it but artist block gets me like it does anyone.
