Since my blog hasn't been on theme recently I have decided it is time for a frog arc
Breviceps fuscus
(Black Rain Frog)
This lil guy!!
This angry avocado is endemic to the southern coast of South Africa!! Endemic means that it is the only place it could be found! This is a borrowing frog, prefers to avoid water, and is primarily nocturnal!!

The Pillow Fort Is Done!!!!
I used a sheet instead, and did not end up needing to set the lava lamp on anything. I decided to cover the desk a different way! I think it looks good. It is really fun!

FYI, anyone interested in the science behind Prehistoric Planet - a kind of DVD commentary, if you will - should check out the twitter feed of the series’ lead consultant, Darren Naish (@TetZoo). He’s been doing a thread for each episode explaining some of their thinking behind the portrayal of certain features, behaviours etc. Super interesting.
Links to threads for each ep below (only the first 3 so far, I’ll try and add to this as and when he does the others):
Episode 1: Coasts
Episode 2: Deserts
Episode 3: Freshwater
