Feb 22nd - Improvements & Research

I have started now focusing on my app as the main product and stopped trying to think of 3 separate ideas. Firstly, I started replacing element I took from Google images with my own drawings using illustrators.

I started thinking about what the profile pictures were going to be like are they going to be avatars or real people etc?

I started doing research into what a user may want to see which seemed to be a real human picture but have the oppurtunity to make up their own avatar to discuss more stigmatised topics.

So for the main contact page I am going to chose out a variety of different people to allow audiences to choose who they feel they would connect more with despite it only being AI. Allowing the user to feel welcome and comfortable will mean they will be able to seek out advice they need.

I have chose a mix of people ranging in age, race, gender and ethnicities to try and target a range of people.

I have started trying to focus on one page at a time and try not to overwhelm myself with trying to make a whole app. First, I am going to try get the main texting feature finished before moving on to the next main element being a tracker. I have started adding the images to this and just swapping out elements for my own illustrations. A few small adjustments to the weight of fonts and where the coolours are going to go have been adjusted. Also I have removed the heavy black bar at the top which I felt made it less clean and more heavy/ compact. As usual I am going to look at https://screenlane.com/ for UI guidance if I'm unsure on what looks right. I think if I keep looking back at this and altering it in the next few days it should start to improve significantly.

whenever im drawing smth thats not smth i draw all the time and have a set colour pallet im used to i always freak out when im blocking in the coolours bc it never looks good but then by the end of the drawing they always work out! i just hate having to “trust the process” in any capacity rip
