Corrupters - A Report on Body Snatchers

Scientific name: Erroneus parasitae. Life expectancy: Unknown. Weakness: Host's weaknesses. Classification: Ethereal, akin to spirits; dark creatures; non-human. Origins: Derog. Appearance: When not possessing a body, a red wisp-shaped form with traces of black smoke. Behavior: There is no known pattern besides body possession and transfiguration. Threat level: Extremely dangerous.

Corrupters are beings that are known to the world as one of the few beings capable of possessing a mortal's body. Once they have overpowered their host and taken over control of the body, their appearence changes immediately.

Overall disfiguration is normal when a Corrupter has established itself into a host body. They may earn details such as horns, multiple eyes, crystal-like skin, wings, among other features. No Corrupter looks the same as another.

Corrupters are known to appear within areas that possess a great concentration of magic.

Unfortunately, there hasn't been found a way to remove Corrupters from host bodies. The only way to get rid of a Corrupter is by slaying them.

No pathway has been found in order to enter Derog.
