I was a part of a fantasy collaboration on Instagram, so I decided to pull together a cosplay of The Princess/Shifting Mound from Slay The Princess by @blacktabbygames !

Bradley cosplay update!! <3

I have disappeared off the face of the earth for a second (this is good, I am being productive) and I have resurfaced with some updates on the Cult leader cosplay!

I have finished the base of the sash and have interfaced the shoulder piece with some horsehair canvas so it can stay up properly! I have also made my own bias tape (this was hell) to attach to the sleeves and shoulder piece once I’m done and now I’m waiting on some fringe for the sash and the waist robe!

I’ve split the outfit into the base dress and blouse (the grey part), separate shoulder piece and separate sash, in the hopes that this will turn into a half-way wearable piece of clothing even outside of the cosplay but we’ll see about that-

Next on the list is the blouse, which will close with buttons, and then it’s onto the dress!

Pallette nr 2 + your favorite childhood cartoon character!

thank you alex! i finally got the motivation to go back and finish this one up!

I'm cheating a little bit because I was fully in high school when this came out, but none of my other ideas were sparking joy so I went with it. Carmen Sandiego from the 2019 netflix reboot :) The palette ended up working great for her!

I really liked the show, my brother and I watched it together and we enjoyed how complex the story was (even though it was still going for the educational geography angle). And the style it's animated in was really pretty! I love the stylized way they always animate her coat blowing in the wind.

I’ve now tried three of the new Heroine Make mini mascaras that are black tinted with A Color and I regret to inform y’all, especially the cosplayers, that these things are certifiably incredible.

I’ve tried out the grey, the pink, and the purple, and they’re all incredible. They’re dark enough to enhance lashes just like a regular mascara but the hint of a color makes them SO GOOD for wearing with cosplay wigs or if you dye your hair!!! The pink in particular is one of the prettiest mascaras I’ve ever worn. And these things are waterproof. Big time waterproof.

I wish they were sponsoring me for this but god they’re just so good I have to tell everyone about it instantly.

I’ve been buying them locally from a store that sells Japanese cosmetics but apparently they have a US only online store! (I’m sure you could find them other stores but this is a fair price).
