GENUINE QUESTION:

I kinda sorta want to post my previous Con. Guzma cosplay photos but I didn't take all that many good ones while I was at the convention.

I wanna know how does a cosplayer go about taking pictures of themselves in public . . . by themselves.

I don't really have any other people in my life who would be available to just drop what they are doing to help me take pictures of myself outside in cosplay.

Is they're a way of doing it without them all just being selfies orrrr. . .?

I need a website that can find an existing sewing pattern for a cosplay. I want to take a picture of what I want and I want to see a matching pattern.

i feel like i've lost the ability to draw so here are some doodles/ 1st draft designs I made for some of the monster high girlies bc I've still got the urge to draw despite that. they all need some work but I feel like I've gotten to a good starting point.

ive got quite a few ideas for the rest but we'll see if I ever get to them lol

Made a little sona for Our Life: now and forever !!!! And since we only got a bit of step 1 and a preview of step 2 for the demo I’ve gotta admit I’m absolutely destroyed this game is comin out next year LOL!!! Immediately whipped and in love with all the characters and now I’m stuck in dev hell so !! I drew this and will probably draw more moments of what I think might happen or just moments outside of the set script in the game

Unfortunately I’ll be hit with the emo Ray but there’s not much you can do, I accidentally based it off of stuff I’d wear in middle school before remembering step 2 is set in the beginning of highschool (fml I only realized now while making the post like “wait a fucking minute” and I’ll reap what I’ve sewn ig) and I just wore pjs and sports clothes, like whatever was comfortable so the emo clothes stay for the ref… they’ll change later. (I was also mainly thinking about how skinny jeans were “in” in middle school even if I hate them now, I wouldn’t even dare to wear them in highschool man inaccurate as hell 💔)

Also these are like the initial doodles of the little avatar I made (I actually had a cherry red jacket irl but my ma donated it long ago so I was a bit happy to see it as a clothing option :3) but I think this little moment in the demo where qiu was explaining why I should join the club and I got like stunlocked by that piece of dialogue, esp with tamarack joining in I was like “if I was 10 I would’ve been COOKED” LMFAO.

But I thought it was silly cuz the dialogue option when I first met him I thought it would’ve been cute and on brand to be like “woah You’re so pretty” and then want to explode when the words leave my mouth. Erm Anywyas I’m really tired I’d say a lot more about my thoughts and already blooming love for the game but I’m tired so hopefully I can blabber more with more art next time yippieee

listen, i know ive mentioned being super excited for the fun of going to the ren faire with my friend as harrow and gideon and i am still so fucking pumped. i probably will be even after it’s over!

but holy hell, am i nervous about making the bone corset lmao. i bought a black corset belt as a base to build the bones around and i am. so scared of fucking it up and having to spend way more money than i expected to on materials

i know i won’t get it first try. i’m not expecting to. i have three months to get this down but i’m still so worried that i won’t get it at all.

if anyone on the harrowhark cosplay side of tumblr has any pointers for making a bone corset, i would greatly appreciate it lol. i’ve seen a couple of things across tiktok but i’m still kinda lost on how to do it

I'm making and posting this now because a. if I don't at this moment, I'll chicken out and b. if the answer is yes, I need time to hype myself up.

I'm trying to work on getting a little more outside my comfort zone, and I've been interested in learning video editing for a while now, so...

Teacher is finished! 🖤🤍✨️

I was able to get him done this past weekend while I was pet sitting for my friends. He was built off of a goat skull mask from Spirit Halloween and I made the horns myself out of pipe insulation, craft foam, and foam clay. His small horns are craft foam too and the fur is Jo Ann's husky fur in black. He has amazing vision and since he doesn't have a jaw I can eat and drink while in him and also has great ventilation.

I can't wait to put the rest of this cosplay together for some pictures and tiktok videos. 🖤🤍✨️

FINALLY got around to taking these photos but i finished my cosplay of virgil’s “Nightmare” costume from @manyfandomsonelog ‘s fic “what you can stand” on ao3 (i say it alot but please go read it if you haven’t it’s one of my favourite fics and i love it so much log is an amazingly talented writer)

this project took far longer then it needed too and i mostly have myself to blame but i made the mask and the cape myself, i might do more photos in this if i can convince my friends to help me but no promises

I have a question for the Hair and Cosplay side of Tumblr

I plan to dye my natural hair temporarily for a cosplay. What kind/brand of hair dye should I get that will eventually come out and not stain my hair? And that won't rub off onto my cosplay/ other things and won't stain my skin?
