WIP Intro: Crowned of The Wildes

Synopsis: [ Take an 80's fantasy movie and LOTR and put it in a blender] Deep beneath the earth, where the soil and roots are warm, lives Adele the hearth spirit (brownie). Like so many before her, she grew up in the Land of The Midsts, working hard as a servant for the Seelie Court. But when she accidentally witnesses the royal family's assassination, does she know the truth. The Unseelie Court now has the crown, and they intend to rule and dominate all life. Obeying the High King's last wish, she flees into The Wildes to warn the neighboring kingdoms. But will they believe a little hearth spirit or will they bow down to the crowned of the wildes?

Halloween Costume Contest is back!

I want to return to SATIM, that maybe even before the end of the year some stripes will start to appear, I don't know. I thought that Halloween was a good excuse to organize a contest - and a contest is a good way to re-introduce myself to SATIM. And since I just finished the Ink Demonth challenge doing crossovers - this year's theme is a crossover of my two favourite games!

Here are the rules:

Theme: I want you to draw or describe any character from SATIM (can be the main character, can be an OC - note, not from Samdy Kids, so the triplets don't count) in a Cult of the Lamb outfit. It may be a disguise as a character from that universe, it may be a reference, but not your OC - it is important to leave no doubt that it is about my SATIM and original Cult of the Lamb. Or, if you wish, you can dress a CotL character in a SATIM costume (I prefer the appearance of the CotL character in my version, i.e. Cult of the Wrath, but it doesn't have to be this way). Technique: any. You can draw, write, make a cutout, dress up yourself in a strange combination of two games or carve something into a pumpkin. Whatever you want!

Rating: the works will be rated in terms of idea, execution and matching the characters from Cult of the Lamb to the characters from SATIM.

Time: I give you exactly two weeks for this - so you have until November 5 this year.

Prizes: I will provide a full-colour drawing for the winner, containing up to 5 characters and any background. If there are a lot of entries (sure, my competition - and a lot of entries :/), it may turn out that I will award more than one prize.

Additional information: you can submit more than one entry if you have more ideas. You can also put several characters on one work (but there is a risk that weaker ideas will lower the overall score of the work, although I will try to rate each outfit separately).

Chicken of the Woods (Laetiporus gilbertsonii) from last year growing on a carob tree. I’ve been mistaking carob for oak in some cases and I’m realizing a lot of the specimens i’ve found have actually been growing on carob. It makes me wonder if these trees have reached the end of their life cycle, thus explaining their vulnerability to fungal infection...if they’re being infected because they’re not being watered enough or being pruned properly (maybe being cut with unclean/spore-containing instruments) or if they’re not well-adapted to the environments they’re grown in. I can only speculate but all these carob trees are dying

Submission reason:

In a world full of characters whose emotions were either subdued or not explored as much, Liontari ended up personally as one of the most entertaining characters of the lot. He was on the enemy side, but was brimming with so many feelings and a really compelling backstory only to then... go through some really strange things that I forgot and end up as a JESTER?! I mean it does suit him, but he was so compelling that I wish they gave him a larger antagonistic role; especially as the way he felt things and experienced the world was completely unique from every other character in a series where quite a few characters felt a bit similar.
