[ID: A digital illustration of Orym and Dorian Storm from Critical Role. They're stood side by side, in mirrored poses. They both are facing three quarters away from each other with a hand on their hips, looking back at each other with smiles. They're both wearing their level 13 outfits, Orym in Zephyr armour with blue vines growing across it and his sending stone tied to his belt. Dorian is wearing a sheer shirt that's very open in the front, a blue half cape with a sunset coloured lining, gold pauldrons on one side, and dark blue trousers. End description.]
Orym's longer hair and Dorian's tits-out sheer shirt are so fucking fantastic <3

One of the things I loved that Taliesin said in the cooldown about Asha is that the Wildmother isn’t inside Asha, Asha is inside the Wildmother.
That maternal figure who cares for her children of the world is not separate from the wild and violent elf that is always hungry.
They are the same, and the Wildmother is so angry that she is letting that wolf loose.

I could wax poetic about how this perfume would bring world peace, but I’d rather let my muse, Ashley Johnson, do it for you.

I don’t know about you all, but the way Essek said that Caleb is “so strong” was said with such conviction and pride that I almost started crying. And while I’m sure that’s not a new sentiment, I can’t help but wonder if Essek was thinking about everything Caleb just went through with Trent in Echoes of the Solstice bc Caleb had to be so strong to deal with all of that.

I am watching this trying to figure out how Ludinus watched this and went, "Yeah, this is evidence in favor of my cause."

I still have this image in my head of Bell's Hells opening a pickles jar labelled "Delilah Briarwood" and Vox Machina shouting "Oh that's not fair! I loosened it for you!"

another reason i think that xie lian felt an instant connection on the ox cart is because he and hua cheng both grew up in xianle.
there are maybe 4 people still alive that grew up in that culture. based on my own experience, you can pick up on things like accent, cadence, references, and humor that suggest a person is from the same place as you without consciously noticing it. that sense of comfort and similarity probably played into their instant chemistry.

The same people who were convinced almost through the end of Calamity that maybe Asmodeus had a point are really gonna have a field day with how Matt played Ludinus in this episode huh.
