El régimen de Daniel Ortega disuelve la orden de los jesuitas en Nicaragua y confisca todos sus bienes

El Ministerio de Gobernación de Daniel Ortega y Rosario Murillo ha decapitado este miércoles 23 de agosto la personería jurídica de la Asociación Compañía de Jesús de Nicaragua. El régimen alega que los jesuitas “no reportaron sus estados financieros de los años 2020, 2021 y 2022″, en lo que supone un zarpazo definitivo justo una semana después que la confiscación de facto de la Universidad Centroamericana (UCA), administrada por la orden religiosa desde hace más de 60 años en Nicaragua. “Tenían su junta directiva vencida desde el 27 de marzo de 2020″, se lee en el decreto publicado en el diario oficial La Gaceta. Los argumentos son idénticos a los usados por el régimen contra las más de 3.000 asociaciones desde el año 2018.

Los bienes de la Compañía de Jesús en Nicaragua también fueron confiscados. “Lo referido al destino de los bienes muebles e inmuebles de conformidad a lo establecido en el artículo 47 párrafo 2 del Reglamento de la Ley 1115, corresponderá a la Procuraduría General de la República realizar el traspaso de estos a nombre del Estado de Nicaragua”, mandata Gobernación. Esta disposición implica la confiscación de los colegios Loyola y Centroamérica, que están bajo la administración de los jesuitas de la Compañía de Jesús y también de escuelas de Fé y Alegría. Fuentes cercanas al Gobierno aseguraron a EL PAÍS que la toma de los colegios es inminente, ya que estos centros también ya estaban siendo acosados administrativamente por el régimen.

“Las dictaduras odian siempre que la inteligencia crítica, racional y humanista, sea llevada a cabo desde el pensamiento cristiano o desde el pensamiento laico. El impacto es sin lugar a dudas de un fuerte deterioro y empobrecimiento cultural”, dijo el sacerdote jesuita José María Tojeira después de conocer la confiscación de la universidad privada. “El mejor archivo histórico de Nicaragua está en la UCA. Si se consumara el robo de las propiedades de la UCA, estos ignorantes del gobierno entrarían en el archivo como tacuazín (zarigüeya) en gallinero”.

Se toman casa de los jesuitas

El pasado 19 de agosto la policía se tomó la casa residencial de los jesuitas en Managua. En ella vivían tres sacerdotes y otros tres religiosos en formación, incluido el rector de la universidad confiscada, el padre Rolando Alvarado. La expropiación del inmueble ocurrió cuando regresaban de un almuerzo.

“Cinco jesuitas llegaron a la residencia en Villa El Carmen, intentaron entrar por un acceso desde una de las calles de Reparto San Juan cuando vieron que en los portones habían más de 20 policías del régimen”, relata a EL PAÍS una fuente ligada a la Compañía de Jesús. Cuando los sacerdotes entraron a la residencia, más de 20 policías bien armados se metieron a la propiedad. Sin agredirlos, un comisionado les dijo que entraran a sus cuartos para que sacaran solo sus cosas personales, porque no se podían quedar en la casa de la UCA. ‘La casa es propiedad del Estado de Nicaragua’, dijeron los policías. Cada sacerdote fue con dos oficiales a sus cuartos, sacaron lo que pudieron y salieron de la residencia. Desafortunadamente, andaban en un vehículo pequeño, el único que les dejaron llevarse”. Todo lo que se encontraba en la residencia, incluidos otros vehículos, fueron confiscados por los policías del régimen Ortega-Murillo.

Inauguran de una universidad estatal

El Consejo Nacional de Universidades (CNU), un ente supeditado en su totalidad a los Ortega-Murillo, creó el jueves 17 de agosto un nuevo centro de estudios superiores en Nicaragua: la Universidad Nacional Casimiro Sotelo Montenegro en las instalaciones de la UCA.

El argumento del régimen para tomar la UCA es que en ella “se cometieron [a partir del año 2018] actividades delincuenciales con armas de fuego, municiones letales, morteros, bombas molotov y objetos contundentes, ocasionando cuantiosas pérdidas económicas al país y traicionando la confianza del pueblo nicaragüense que los acogió en nuestro país para que funcionaran como institución de educación superior”, indica el oficio judicial cuyos señalamientos la UCA, tanto como la Provincia Centroamericana de la Compañía de Jesús, rechazaron de un tajo.

La confiscación de la UCA ha causado una desbandada de estudiantes. Cientos eligieron inscribirse en La Universidad Americana (UAM), propiedad del Ejército de Nicaragua. Sin embargo, la UAM suspendió la matrícula de cientos de estudiantes provenientes del centro confiscado argumentando que los universitarios se habían matriculado sin presentar sus certificados de notas oficiales. Algunos estudiantes consultados explicaron, en cambio, que la institución educativa había aceptado su admisión con la condición de que firmaran una carta de compromiso en la que acordaron entregar sus notas oficiales en seis meses.

Hace cinco días también trabajadores de la extinta UCA denunciaron que miembros de sindicatos sandinistas les informaron de que solo contará con 100 colaboradores para laborar en la universidad Casimiro Sotelo. La comunidad educativa de la UCA ascendía a más de 5.000 estudiantes y 500 docentes, sin incluir el personal administrativo y de servicio.

“La Provincia Centroamericana de la Compañía de Jesús sostiene que la confiscación de facto de los bienes de la UCA es una represalia por el trabajo que ha hecho esta institución en la búsqueda de una sociedad más justa, así como por su compromiso para proteger la vida, la verdad y la libertad del pueblo nicaragüense, en consonancia con su lema: ‘La verdad los hará libres’ (Juan 8, 32)”, señala un comunicado emitido por la Asociación de Universidades Confiadas a la Compañía de Jesús en América Latina.

Pietro Terracciano saved from Michail Antonio in the opening minute, and West Ham took courage for a while, hurrying Fiorentina and preventing them from building from the back. There was a final cruel twist for the Viola, though, Jarrod Bowen chasing Lucas Paquetá's smart ball through the Fiorentina defence before angling the ball past Terracciano.

We played well, had chances, equalised straight away after a penalty that could have killed us. We responded, we had a great chance through Mandragora. Then a ball came down the middle, we did not make the right movement in defence and it was all over. The lads were destroyed."

Monseñor Rolando José Álvarez Lagos, nació em 1966 en Managua en un hogar cristiano, donde el padre era obrero y la madre vendía atol. Desde niño mostró vocación por el sacerdocio.

Durante los años 80, se negó a prestar el servicio militar obligatorio que exigía la primera dictadura sandinista a los jóvenes. “Como dos o tres veces se lo llevaron preso. Y las veces que se lo llevaban llegaban a catear la casa, comentaba una hermana que nunca se metió en política.

Para ponerse a salvo huyó a Guatemala, donde vivió como refugiado. “Creo que nosotros pertenecimos a una generación de jóvenes que nos tocó conquistar a precio de persecución y dolor nuestra libertad”, Fue en Guatemala donde toma la decisión de ingresar al seminario católico.

Rolando José Álvarez Lago, se ordenó como sacerdote en 1994, según la Conferencia Episcopal de Nicaragua. El papa Benedicto XVI lo nombró obispo de Matagalpa, al norte de la capital nicaragüense, el 8 de marzo de 2011. Es el noveno sacerdote en ocupar ese cargo.

Monseñor Álvarez, nacido en 1966, realizó sus estudios eclesiásticos en Filosofía y Teología en Guatemala y en Roma, Italia, en la Pontifica Universidad Lateranense. Allí también estudió en la Pontificia Universidad Gregoriana, donde se licenció en Filosofía.

En mayo de 2018, Álvarez integró el equipo del Conferencia Episcopal que sirvió de testigo y mediador en el primer Diálogo Nacional entre la dictadura sandinista de Daniel Ortega y la oposición.

“El diálogo nacional tiene un solo fin: el cambio. El cambio es inevitable, no hay otro camino, no hay otra finalidad. El cambio viene y con él la democratización de la República de Nicaragua”, precisó el obispo poco antes de que las partes se sentaran en la mesa de negociación.

Hoy 13 de octubre cumple 47 días del arresto domiciliar impuesto por la dictadura sandinista.
