Code-Switching
Tumblr media
super small blurb but this idea came about because of mom on tiktok raising her kid in french and english.
There's nothing better after a long day of work than coming back home to your family. You couldn't want much more in your life than living in the perfect townhouse with your beautiful little girl and handsome husband.
Spencer stayed home today and you can hear jazz music in the living room while you slip off your shoes at the front door. Having a baby is a good look on him, but so is his modified work schedule that allows him to do all his paperwork and consults from home.
You hang your coat on the coat rack. It's not yet warm enough outside to go without one, but the sun is quickly coming.
"Bonjour." You greet Spencer with a kiss as you walk into the kitchen.
He's cooking something that smells amazing, as usual. Although many people wouldn't believe it, his culinary skills are impressive.
"Hi, beautiful." Spencer smiles just seeing you. "How was your day?"
"It was great." You tell him. "Being home is better though."
He nods. "We missed you. Can I get you a drink or do you want to go change?"
"I'm okay." You assure him. "Where's Eloise?"
"She was in the living room." Spencer frowns slightly, looking over the kitchen island counter for the little girl.
Her building blocks are still there but before either of you can start worrying, two hands wrap around your ankle, and a little giggle leaves her lips. "Mamá!"
"Hola, bebé." You cheer, reaching down to scoop her up to rest against your hip in a hug. "Cómo estás?"
"Bien." She replies with a nod.
Before you can press some more Spanish words out of her, Spencer speaks, directing her attention to the dinner cooking. "Excusez-moi. Voulez-vous du riz ou des pâtes avec votre poulet?" He asks her. You can tell his speech is slowed, allowing her to hear each syllable and understand it.
Eloise looks at you instead of her dad. "Quiero pasta, no arroz." Then she looks to Spencer. "S'il vous plaît."
You grin at Spencer, who's matching your excitement. He'd done the bulk of the reading about how to properly raise a baby to speak multiple languages. He speaks French to her, you in Spanish, and everyone else she is around in English. It isn't a perfect system but you've stuck to it. Her level of fluency and words in each language fluctuate, but it's not bad enough to warrant concern.
Until now, she has barely shown any code-switching. Occasionally, she'll throw in English pronouns to Spanish or French sentences, but until now, there haven't been any combinations between Spanish and French.
"Eres una chica inteligente." You tell her with a smile. Eloise can't tell exactly why you're so pleased with her, but she mirrors your expression.
"Très intelligent," Spencer adds, kissing her cheek. He follows her direction, reaching up to grab some pasta to cook for tonight's dinner.
"Smart." Eloise translates the word like it's second nature to her. You suppose it is. And it's a word that describes her to the fullest.

Xavier in the kitchen was almost a disaster waiting to happen—no exaggeration. He had a knack for forgetting to turn off the stove or neglecting to set a timer, leaving his meals charred and inedible more often than not. While eliminating Wanderers with effortless precision was second nature to him, cooking seemed to be his weakness. Typically, Xavier gravitated toward quick, easy meals—cup noodles, ready-to-eat options—and never fussed over what he ate.
Despite his mishaps, he genuinely put in the effort to learn, committing to recipes and working to improve. With time, practice, and a few burned pans later, he eventually became efficient in the kitchen. Once he mastered the basics, he started preparing large meals, focusing on quantity so you’d never be short of options, making sure you had plenty of your favorites to choose from.

Zayne embodied the perfect image of husband material. Though his job as a Linkon doctor kept him busy with back-to-back surgeries and long hours at the hospital, he never failed to make time for you—especially if you were craving his cooking. Despite his demanding schedule, he made it a priority to prepare meals whenever he came home, often late into the night, just to see your face lit up with each bite.
Zayne was meticulous in the kitchen, his precise nature extending from surgery to the ingredients he handled. Aside from his disdain for carrots, he had an impressive knowledge of different vegetables and how to bring out their natural flavors in every dish. Whether he was baking or cooking, he always followed the recipes to a tee, ensuring every detail was perfect, particularly when trying something new. His care and precision in the kitchen mirrored the way he treated you—attentive, thoughtful, and deeply considerate.

Rafayel may come off as bratty and spoiled, but beneath that exterior, he harbored surprising culinary talent. It wasn’t something he flaunted, considering that most of his meals were either prepared by Thomas, brought or ordered online. But when the mood struck him, Rafayel could whip up a dish with flair, though he often relied on instructions and recipes to guide him. His creativity shined through, however, as he loved experimenting and adding his personal touch to any recipe.
You were always his first taste-tester, the one he’d eagerly present his latest creation to—sometimes a surprisingly delicious innovation, other times an odd combination that left you questioning his choices.

Sylus, much like Zayne, could easily be considered husband material, though he typically didn’t need to lift a finger in the kitchen thanks to his personal chef. Yet, when the occasion called for it, Sylus was more than capable of preparing a meal. Confident and knowledgeable, he rarely consulted recipes, instead relying on his sharp memory and expertise.
While patience wasn’t his strong suit, he made an exception when you were involved. If you were there to taste his dish, Sylus would put his full effort into crafting a meal that catered to your palate, making sure each seasoning and flavor hit the right notes. For someone who thrived on power and control, cooking was one of the few activities where he allowed himself to slow down, focusing intently on every detail. After all, he wanted it to be perfect for you.

╰。 Author's Note: There's significant parts that are definitely inspired by Infold's Special Chapter; "Ways Of Making Chocolate" chibi report on this prompt.
I'll be working on some requests (specifically a continuation of Grief) by next week since preliminaries are approaching soon, I'll be off from writing for a few days.

The pale chef
Astarion x f!Reader
Summary: Astarion attempts to cook for you, but things don’t go as planned.
Word Count: 1,7k
A/N: I got the idea that Astarion naturally struggles with preparing food, so I had to write some fluff about it! Hope you enjoy :)
[ AO3 ]
Tumblr media
Astarion stirred the pot in concentration, holding a wooden spoon in his hand and wondering what exactly he was doing here.
This whole endeavour resulted from your constant need to be nice to him, he thought with a sigh – apparently it made him want to be nice as well.
It started the other day when you mentioned how you would kill for a mushroom soup. At first he thought nothing of it, but for some reason the idea stuck to his head, so Astarion decided to roam the forest and gather some mushrooms. Unfortunately it turned out rather quickly that he lacked essential knowledge on the matter, so he had to consult Gale of all people.
Putting his pride aside, he asked through gritted teeth which ones were edible and which to avoid, since he had no desire to poison you by accident. Due to Gale being Gale, the wizard not only lectured him on different kinds of fungi, he had also given a detailed instruction on the soup’s recipe.
Astarion chuckled at the absurdity of the scene. He had never thought that one day he'd voluntarily prepare food for another person – and yet he found himself bending over the hearth and mixing different ingredients, hoping for the best.
He even wore an apron borrowed from said wizard, therefore he was more than glad that his companions had left for a supply run, while you were waiting in your shared tent so he could attempt this little surprise in solitude.
Gale's voice echoed in his mind: Chop the mushrooms, add them to the broth, stir until thickened, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle a few herbs on top – that’s it! Absolutely foolproof, even for someone who prefers to appease their hunger solely with blood.
The mushrooms had been the easiest part. His dexterous fingers cut them into perfectly bite-sized pieces, but Astarion bloody forgot how long the meal should rest on the fire.
Suddenly a burning smell lingered in the air, and he sensed in horror that the soup was boiling over.
“Fuck!” He grabbed the pot with haste and put it away from the heat.
Well, he thought as he gazed at the bubbling mass, that probably meant it was done.
With utmost care not to spill more of his precious loot, he grabbed a ladle and filled a large portion for you. If he already took the effort for such a novelty, you should at least get your belly full.
Astarion slipped out of the apron and made his way back to you. He assumed you were already growing impatient, as this entire affair had consumed far more time than he had anticipated.
“Hello, darling,” he purred when entering your tent, skilfully balancing the bowl in his hand.
“Finally! I thought you'd kept me waiting all night – wait, what's that?” You put the book you were reading aside and eyed the dish in his hands.
“I’m not quite sure myself, but according to Gale's recipe it should resemble a mushroom soup.”
Your eyes lit up. “Hold on – you prepared this for me? You know that’s my favourite, right?”
“I suppose I do.” Astarion offered you the soup with a coy smile. “Although you should remember that I’m not particularly versed in the culinary arts, so it might be best to treat this with caution.”
You took the bowl from his slender fingers. “Hah, let me be the judge of that! Besides, it was about damn time you returned the favour of feeding me for once, hm?”
“I couldn’t try it myself for obvious reasons, but I doubt that this could compete with your delicious blood,” Astarion replied jokingly and sat next to you, curiously watching as you sniffed the soup.
“Smells not bad…” you affirmed while blowing on the steaming broth resting on your spoon. “Now comes the delicate part – the taste test.”
The spoon disappeared in your mouth, and suddenly your face twisted into a grimace. You swallowed hard, a cough forcing its way through your pressed lips.
Astarion couldn’t help but snort over your clumsy attempt to keep the soup inside. “So – I sense I failed you miserably?”
“What? No – I mean, it’s not… terrible,” you stuttered. “It’s… Well – did you let it burn by chance?”
“Maybe.” He dragged out the syllables dramatically and shrugged. “Be honest, my dead heart surely can take it – shall we save this mess for Scratch and the owlbear?”
“Of course not!” you exclaimed with widened eyes. “I’m not hesitant to share, but not something you specially made for me. Also, some things tend to get better once you get used to the flavour, you know.”
Before Astarion could intervene, you put another spoon to your mouth and eagerly gulped it down, followed by a second and a third.
“There’s certainly room for improvement,” you eventually muttered with full cheeks, “but it’s not that bad.”
“I’m afraid you’re a poor liar, my love.” Astarion gently grasped your wrist to prevent you from taking another mouthful. “So please let me stop you right there, before you seriously upset your gut. I’m sure we can get you something more nutritious for the evening.” Then he took the spoon from your hand and put the bowl aside.
“If you insist,” you said with fondness in your eyes while wiping soup from the corner of your mouth. “But honestly – thank you, Astarion. This was… unexpectedly sweet.”
Heat rose to his ears as he rested his hand on your stomach, starting to draw circles. “Well, let's just hope my failed culinary attempt won't kill you tonight.”
“I guess in that case Lae’zel would avenge me, so you’d better start preparing yourself.”
“Mh… You think she’d stake me?” Astarion questioned and continued to caress your belly.
“Who knows what her creativity will lead to in the end. Knowing Lae’zel, she’d probably come up with something worse,” you pondered while tapping your chin. “But I guess you wouldn't let your preferred blood supply die that easily after all, would you?”
“Oh, don't sell yourself so short,” Astarion countered in feigned bewilderment. “You know that you mean way more to me than that.”
“Is that so?”
“Well, you also keep me warm at night, sparing me the coin for a thicker blanket. You know how expensive those things can get.”
You playfully raised an eyebrow, clearly not satisfied with his response. “And if you had to give a genuine answer this time?”
Astarion clicked his tongue and rolled his eyes. “I thought my sentiments were rather obvious by now.”
“And yet I don't seem to tire of hearing your appreciation for me,” you teased.
“Getting greedy now, aren’t we? Fine, you're ... quite decent. Despite your constant need to do something heroic, of course.”
You poked his shoulder and turned away with an exaggerated pout.
Astarion chuckled, before he cleared his throat. “Alright – perhaps you’re more than that.”
He drew you in his arms and breathed against your cheek. “One might also say you're the first person I truly came to care about. Deeply.”
Your lips brushed over his contours, searching for his own until you kissed him tenderly. “See? Wasn’t that hard, was it?”
Astarion rested a peck on your forehead and embraced you closer, a pleasant flutter spreading in his chest.
You were right, he thought as his lips curled into an affectionate smile – with you, everything seemed surprisingly easy these days.
*
The next morning Astarion woke to a rumbling. He opened his eyes and could only make out your silhouette as you hastily rushed outside, leaving the flap of your tent wide open.
“Love, are you alright?” he asked in concern and immediately got up to follow you.
“Don't worry, I’m fine,” you huffed under your breath.
Astarion knelt beside you in the grass and frowned. “Are you sure?”
“I said… it’s alright…” You gagged between your words. “But perhaps the soup… Ugh–”
“Don’t be stubborn,” Astarion said softly, when he noticed that you were still wearing his shirt from the other night. “And for the love of the gods – please be careful not to stain my clothes.”
“That's what you’re most concerned about right now?”
“No, of course not! But – That’s my favourite,” Astarion mumbled while he reached for your hair, smoothing it back over your shoulders.
“FANGS, what did you do to her?!” Karlach’s voice erupted like a thunderstorm from the other side of the camp as she spotted the two of you.
“Nothing – I only prepared some soup for her last night!”
“Shadowheart! Hurry up, we need you – Astarion poisoned our leader!” Karlach was already marching in the cleric's direction.
“What – no!” You both spoke almost simultaneously, causing you to laugh.
“I seem to have a sensible stomach,” you managed to add before retching again.
Astarion turned serious as he rested his hand on your back. “I'm terribly sorry, my love. That wasn’t meant to happen at all.”
You offered a weak smirk. “I know, and I appreciate the thought. Besides, that means your next dish can only improve.”
Astarion gazed at you in disbelief. “You’d consider letting me cook again after this entire debacle? Those mushrooms must have gone to your beautiful head.”
“Well, on second thought–” You couldn't finish your sentence as your stomach’s content finally emptied onto the grass.
Astarion felt a twist at his ribcage seeing you like this. “We’d better make sure I haven’t actually poisoned you, shall we? – SHADOWHEART! Get yourself over here – now!”
“I'M ON MY WAY!” Shadowheart shouted from afar.
“I think the worst is already over–” you began to explain, when another voice cut you off.
“Tsk’va! What is going on?” Lae’zel poked her head from her tent, obviously annoyed by the sudden tumult.
“Please, don’t let her stake me,” Astarion whispered and continued to stroke your back.
“Be glad that I love you, otherwise I’d probably let her get away with it this time,” you replied mischievously.
Astarion’s chest filled with warmth as he grasped for your hand. “My sweet, I truly am.” Then he bowed his head to place a kiss on your hair. “And I love you too. So much in fact, that I might consider forgiving you for ruining my shirt.”
You squeezed his hand and grinned. “Prick.”
Astarion returned your grin before his expression turned soft. “But honestly, I promise I’ll make this up to you.”
Next time he would surprise you with something less nauseating, he thought as his fingers entwined with yours – a safe choice like bringing another stray to your camp, or a nice perfume perhaps.

Soap stared at Daisy in confusion, holding her up like a distant artifact. Meanwhile, Price, donning an apron, attempted culinary feats, with Gaz lazily consulting Wikihow on baby-holding.
"Soap, not like rubbish," Price advised, as Gaz half-heartedly researched.
Soap held her with his hands under her arms, keeping her far away from his own body.
"How else am I supposed to hold her?" Soap pleaded, prompting Gaz to read out the title of the website "'How to hold a baby: 10 Steps (with Pictures)'"
"'Be calm and confident before picking up the baby,'" Gaz recited, causing Soap to panic.
"Well, I'm not calm!" Soap said, as if he had just made a huge mistake.
"Perfect," Gaz deadpanned, clearly unfazed.
"'Support the baby's head with one arm and support its bottom with the other,'" Gaz continued. Soap attempted this, creating an awkward hold on Daisy. "That doesn't look right," Soap confessed.
"Are you serious?" Gaz quipped. "Yes, I-"
"Just pull it closer to your chest!"
"But it's not even listed! And it's not an 'it'!" Soap defended, giving Daisy a reassuring look.
"It's step 3!" Gaz informed. Soap, begrudgingly, adjusted, muttering about Daisy not being an 'it'.
"That's it," Gaz declared, ending the baby holding tutorial at step 3.
"But you said ten steps!"
"I'm too lazy to continue."
"Go fu—"
"THE KITCHEN IS ON FIRE!" Price's yell interrupted, leading to chaos and screaming.
Tumblr media
"You had one job," Simon scolded as he returned with you, holding Daisy close to his chest while Price looked remorseful.
"We tried our best!" Soap defended, to which you responded with "Your best is burning our house down?"
Daisy, amidst the chaos, began cooing and giggling. Simon, amused, turned to her "Having fun, aren't you?"
"It's all her fault," Gaz blamed.
"She's a baby!" Simon retorted.

Yet Another Major Revamp: Semi-Realism Edition + make-your-own toolkit!🥳
Tumblr media
🐸 DOWNLOAD: SFS
This is an edit of Phaenoh' Realistic Major to Career Linking BUT with the following BENEFITS:
🌟 NOT REALISTIC... BUT MAXIS-REALISM: this edit made the ideal careers for each major somewhat logical and coherent (consult the table below for the changes) yet respects the internal logic of the game because Maxis' humor is underrated, slacker and criminal are treated as serious career pathways in this game so why not 🤩
Tumblr media
🌟 ALL MAJORS BALANCED ⚖️: frustrated with the lack of benefits that some majors offer compared to others? want an easier time being a job-hopper?? what do you mean my skills aren't transferable in this market??? WELL:
All majors are now supporting at least 5 or more careers
Art [6]: Adventurer, Architecture, Artist, Culinary, Gamer, Slacker
Bio [5]: Athletic, Medicine, Natural Sci, Ocean, Science
Drama [6]: Athletic, Dance, Entertainment, Law, Politics, ShowBiz
Econ [5]: Business, Criminal, Music, Politics, Show Biz
History [5]: Adventurer, Artist, Law, Military, Politics

Physics [5]: Athletic, Dance, Medicine, Ocean, Science
PolSci [5]: Intelligence, Journalism, Law, Military, Politics
Psych [6]: Architecture, Business, Criminal, Edu, Intelligence, Paranormal
All careers are now supported by 2 or more majors, only the Politics career is supported by 4 (cause Maxis' choice was so good I didn't want to touch it!)
8 careers that require degree (only available for graduate): Architecture, Education, Intelligence, Law, Medicine, Nat Sci, Oceanography, Science.
Tumblr media
🌟 OTHER INFOS:
🎓 You'll need UNI EP 🎓
Credits: Phaenoh (for the base mod I edited and the tutorial!), SimPE
Conflicts:
mods that lock/unlock degree requirement like Lamare's getUniCareerWithoutEducation
any mods do the same thing (Belladovah's, Phaenoh's & Cyjon's) which you might want to consider shopping around first before picking mine so look below 🛍️🛒👀
also conflicts with lauratje86's but their mod works with default replacement majors so it can't be covered here, check it out though!
note: Cyjon altered some majors' names and skill requirements (he also hates Philosophy methinks), Phaenoh offers a different version that changes which career requires degree (just like mine but ADDED Business), Belladovah offers Education version in which every major benefits the Education career.
Tumblr media
📁 MOD RESOURCE: Linking Maxis Majors & Degrees to Maxis Career Toolkit 🥳
🎯 Difficulty: EASY (no modding experience needed)
It's easier to customize own or track which majors your career is linked to with a bunch pre-made templates right???
Download my edited mod as a base & start making edits 📝 Have these templates to easily cross-reference 0x2(2) values you need to change in SimPE following PHAENOH'S TUTORIAL.
The templates will look like the 2 tables you see above, they are available in:
odt (highly recommended, easy to use word doc file with Phaenoh's tutorial included)
md (markdown file)
csv (for both of the tables you see above)
Comparison Table - use to compare your edits to MAXIS original Career By Major Table - work out which major supports your career and calculate 0x2(2) values
4. zip (for SiYuan users to import, highly rec because I used that program to make the tables, it's Notion but ✨uglier and offline✨)

storytime!!! so basically im going through a mini writer's block right now so i started cooking to get my mind off it and now all i can think about is cooking with ino takuma
wc: 0.8k contains: pure fluff and nanami's here too i guess, reader is referred to as girlfriend, modern au author's note: fun fact! so i lost most of this and i had to rewrite all of the parts i lost and when i found out i actually started to cry! but i hope yall like it! inbox open for requests + qna questions + anything and everything
Tumblr media
first off, i firmly believe this guy is the most mediocre chef EVER. you cannot convince me otherwise. however!, i will give him his props. he can cook his cute lil suspiciously scrumptious dishes when he has the time but that does not stop him from trying to get better at cooking
once you two started dating, he without a doubt begun brushing up on his skills. he went from being able to make a "banger sandwich" to a "banger le poulet frit et les gaufres" which was just chicken and waffles but he's trying okay!!!
he definitely consulted (begged) head chef nanami, as he called him in this situation, to help with his culinary skills. and i'm not talking regular begged, i'm talking groveling at his feet, begged. and nanami obliged, teaching ino how to cook, starting at the very basics, the importance of mise en place: the practice of organizing and preparing your ingredients and equipment before starting to cook
soon enough, ino's culinary lessons with head chef nanami blossomed. he started from basically nothing and now he's mastered the perfect milk to cereal ratio and a near perfect filet mignon. did he know what that was? no. did he watch nanami make it under the excuse of watching is the best form of learning? yes.
but you have to start somewhere! and you have to give him his tens!! he did light the stove and he preheat the oven. he's practically a chef already! and all that watching definitely paid off
"here, try this recipe with your girlfriend." nanami slid a slip of paper over to ino, tiny, uniform inked words on it. "and here is your copy, good luck." an identical piece of paper was given to ino again but it had handwritten notes like pay attention to the flame and i wouldn't recommend substituting this ingredient, it is very vital for the overall taste of the dish
so here you both were in the kitchen, aprons on and eyes peering at the recipe. "step one," takuma started, tightening his apron like he was about to do some serious work. he lifted up a comically large pot and placed it on the stove, pulling out (and flaunting) the crabs he handpicked from the market right after. "get your pot and your crabs."
"step two," you filled the pot halfway with water, sprinkling in a bit of salt and lighting the fire underneath it. "bring your pot of water to a rapid boil."
"what're you doing babe?" your words were clearly a question though it was one that you could answer simply by looking. "i'm paying attention to the flame." takuma pulled your shoulder flush to his, eyes still watching the blue flame with intent and unwavering focus. "i don't think it's going anywhere but okay."
once the water bubbled up violently, ino threw in the crabs and you went to the bathroom to freshen up. you were humming a sweet song while drying your hands when the all too familiar shrill scream of your boyfriend pierced your ears. "takuma?!" you called out, running to the kitchen, hands an uncomfortable damp. and there he was. takuma had the pot lid propped up as if it were a shield, tears pricking his eyes, "baby...", he called out to you. "the crab... it jumped out of the pot..."
"you bought live crabs...?"
"they weren't moving when i bought them."
"ah."
grabbing some nearby tongs, you placed the crab back into the salted water, "wait..., shouldn't we kill them first?" ino slowly nodded, pulling his phone from his pocket, "let's see... wikihow... how to cook a crab..."
"freeze the crabs?!" your in-sync voices rang through your house, bouncing off the walls. "we're not freezing any crabs." you continued, confusion and sass dripping from your lips. "damn right we're not! but, uh, how're we supposed to kill them then?" gulping at your boyfriend's question, you thought for a bit
tugging at one of the drawers, a collection of knives, given to you both by nanami, were revealed. picking the biggest one up and holding it's handle firm and tightly. "surely we could just," the blade sliced through the air, mimicking the swift movement of killing a crab. takuma shook in his place, "hey, queen, you should, uh, watch where you're swinging that. you might hurt yourself," he came closer to you, fingers squeezing and squishing your cheeks. "and then i would have to nurse my pretty girlfriend back to health!"
slapping his hands away playfully, you sighed, "babe, focus! what're we gonna do? i don't wanna kill the crabs..." ino put his hands on his hips, a triumphant smile on his face, "don't worry, i got this."
long story short, he did not.
"oh my god." the plastic fork slipped from takuma's hands clanking against the matching plastic container of takeout
"what?"
"we didn't do mise en place."

Top 5 Benefits of Drinking Turmeric Milk
Tumblr media
Introduction:
In the pursuit of a healthier lifestyle, people are increasingly turning to natural remedies that have been cherished for their medicinal properties for centuries. One such golden elixir gaining popularity is turmeric milk, a traditional beverage that combines the goodness of milk with the powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of turmeric. In this blog, we'll delve into the top five benefits of incorporating this golden drink into your daily routine and how consulting a professional Dietitian In Delhi, such as Dt. Shreya Katyal from Diets & More can be a game-changer.
1. Anti-Inflammatory Powerhouse:
Turmeric, the vibrant yellow spice that gives curry its distinctive color, contains a potent compound called curcumin. Curcumin is renowned for its anti-inflammatory properties, which can help reduce inflammation in the body. Chronic inflammation is linked to various health issues, including arthritis, heart disease, and even certain cancers. By regularly consuming turmeric milk, you may contribute to managing inflammation and promoting overall well-being.
2. Immune System Boost:
A robust immune system is crucial for warding off infections and illnesses. Turmeric milk is rich in antioxidants and has immune-boosting properties that may enhance your body's defense mechanisms. The combination of turmeric and milk provides essential nutrients like vitamins D and B12, along with minerals like calcium, which are vital for a healthy immune system. Regular consumption may help you stay resilient against common ailments.
3. Joint Health and Arthritis Relief:
For those grappling with joint pain and arthritis, turmeric milk can be a soothing elixir. The anti-inflammatory effects of curcumin may help alleviate pain and stiffness in the joints. Many individuals have reported experiencing relief from arthritis symptoms by incorporating turmeric milk into their daily routine. However, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice on managing arthritis.
4. Digestive Aid:
Turmeric has been traditionally used to support digestive health. It can stimulate bile production, which aids in the digestion of fats. Turmeric milk, with its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, may provide relief from digestive issues such as indigestion and bloating. ROs culinary skills ranked from the worst to the best?
Haha let's see...
S: They are more likely to catch the kitchen on fire before getting out anything resembling an edible meal
L: They'd spend most of their time consulting the recipe book debating to themselves what would be good for everyone's palette before realizing they can't even cut a vegetable without getting anxious
K: Unfortunately, enthusiasm is not the greatest replacement for practice, and although they gleefully jump at the opportunity to cut through all of the prep, they jump away from the fire as soon as it gets higher than an inch
M: P has kept them far out of reach of any cooking utensils after the last incident of them dozing off at the burner.
R: While they've seen and understood the basics from their years dealing with the family estate staff, they're less than adamant to begin executing. They'll leave it to those with a bit more passion
F: They understand the fundamentals, but it is not as though they ever put it to practice with Fiore always in tow. Still, they are quite skillful in the preparation portion.
V: Having devised plenty of rations throughout their journey before finding themselves at the academy, they are confident they can make something both edible and palatable, if you close your eyes and ignore the dirt and ground worms.
E: They've had a lot of practice cooking at home and trying new things that they think you might like. They take their dishes in more creative directions for new tastes.
P: They are far more rigid and perfectionist in their standards, but they follow the book to the letter to make dishes just as they should be, and they do it well.
Thank you for the ask haha. I hope everyone is doing well! For my part, I am steadily working through things haha

Somehow, the Carmen Sandiego brainrot has taken hold even though I haven't watched an episode in months (no idea how that happened). So, how's about some headcanons? (feel free to play with any or all if they strike your fancy)
-- Carmen's room in headquarters has two wall clocks, one set to San Diego time and one to Ontario because
-- Player has a veritable army of cousins. Carmen never got a straight number because just when she thinks she's got them down, he'll offhandedly mention someone having a baby or something; quite honestly, he can't keep track either.
-- Carmen is nearly hopeless with numbers. Time zones, exchange rates, converting to imperial units when she's in the U.S., she never got the hang of any of it and has learned to just consult Player.
-- "Okay, that guy at the front desk said I'm ten miles from the Grand Canyon. How many-" "Sixteen, Red. Keep an eye out, it's easy to miss." "Very funny."
-- It drove the Faculty absolutely nuts that their 'golden opportunity' is math-stupid; they chalked it up to something she got from her mother's side.
-- It's not. Dexter Wolfe was just *that* good at hiding his dyscalculia.
-- The one math-y thing she can do is card counting, a key component of being an incorrigible cheat at board/card games. Because she will cheat at anything and everything.
-- Seriously, one time Zach and Ivy found an old Candyland game (just lying around the warehouse, don't ask) and Carmen, who had never seen the game in her life, positively trounced them.
-- They just *know* she has to be cheating but can't prove it.
-- Ivy, bewildered, to Carmen's cat-that-got-the-canary face: "How does someone cheat at Candyland?!?" She's just that good.
-- Whenever Shadowsan plays her in cards, it takes all of two minutes for the game to devolve from 'whatever they were supposed to be playing' to 'who's better at sleight of hand.' Not that he condones cheating, mind, but if Carmen's going to, well, he's not just going to let her get away with that.
-- Carmen as a kid was a very picky eater (her adventurous spirit not extending to the culinary world); the Faculty was as helpful as you'd expect.
-- "Dammit, Saira, I told you to quit trying to feed her that rice!" "Well I need someone to taste test-" (absolutely no sense of taste on Saira; lab accident, we don't talk about it) "-and you certainly haven't volunteered. Besides, this newest formula is fortified with three essential vitamins and minerals (at least, I think they're essential), which is more than those sweets you keep plying her with." "At least she eats those!"
-- Ivy and Zach are high school dropouts, figuring they could get ahead better with racing than with academics. As part of joining ACME they get their GED's (since they require *at least* a high school diploma) and the whole team (plus Chase and Julia) help out and are so proud when they pass.
-- The first thing Carmen always does in the morning, something that doesn't change post-series, is call Player. It's also the last thing she does before turning in at night. She can't imagine being any other way, and neither can he. (crud, they're just the bestest friends, I love them so much)

Farmer Confessions Part 1
Here's a scenario: How would our romanceables react to us, the farmer, confessing our love for them? (,,>ヮ<,,)
Part 1: The Bachelorettes
Tumblr media
♡ 𝒜𝒹𝑒𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑒
It takes quite a bit to get Adeline alone for you to talk to her because this lady is always so busy
Like?? Girl your budget portfolio can wait LOL
You send her a letter about a "potential project" you wanted to discuss with her and was able to fit yourself in her schedule for that week (okay technically a lie but you had to)
When you get to her office, as soon as she puts out the tea cakes and opens up the manilla folders on her desk you just cut to the chase
"Adeline, I like you! In a more-than-a-friend kind of way!"
She drops her pen, stunned
Her cheeks turn as pink as her hair as she's trying to process what you just said. You? Like her? What did she do to deserve this?
She finally manages to shyly respond, tucking her hair behind her ear:
"Farmer I... I like you as well. Thank you so much for telling me."
She also insists she won't let work get in the way of her relationship with you and she'll always make time for you. You also always offer to help her with work so you two can spend more free time together.
(btw she was lowkey pouting there was never a "project" you wanted to discuss but she forgave you; don't worry lol)
⋆。‧˚ʚ🍓ɞ˚‧。⋆
♡ 𝓒𝓮𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓮
You decide to tell her on one of the days she invites you over for tea
You take a few days to gather her favorite flowers to create a beautiful bouquet you hope she'll love
You knock on the door and she opens it to see the bouquet of flowers completely covering your blush adorned face
"Oh my, what's all this? For me? How beautiful~!"
She's floored with the sweet gesture and your nerves dissipate a bit
After she brews the tea and sets it down in front of you, she asks what the occasion is for the bouquet
Ho boy the nerves are coming back
You don't know what you'd do if Celine didn't return your feelings
You manage to croak out your confession, peeking though one eye to see her reaction
Her face is flushed, her index fingers touching each other as she says:
"Hehe... you beat me to it. I invited you over to tell you my feelings for you!"
You both share a sweet embrace, enjoying each others company for the rest of the day
You both become the sweetest couple in Mistria. Everyone wants what you two have!
⋆。‧˚ʚ🍓ɞ˚‧。⋆
♡ 𝓡𝓮𝓲𝓷𝓪
You two are besties so all the more difficult to profess your love without making things awkward
You've been practicing in your head all week on how to tell her without scaring her off as well as praying she returns your feelings
A perfect opportunity lands on your lap when Reina asks for your help taste testing a soup recipe she's been working on
Dressed your cutest, you head to the inn
She looks as prettier as ever when she greets you
Get it together Farmer
As the private tasting session goes on, you give her feedback what you think would be better (a little more pepper, cut back on the acidity, etc) and out of nowhere, before the conversation of culinary consultation can continue she giggles lightly and says:
"Wouldn't it be crazy if we like, started dating? We have so much in common anyways!"
You freeze at what she just says and she gasps, covering her mouth and cheeks turning red
"W-WAIT I meant like hypothetically because we both are good cooks and-"
"Nah, that's not crazy at all. In fact, let's go out!"
You're both shocked at how easy that was and just stand there like dummies, accepting each others feelings
You can feel Josephine and Hemlock behind you two with a thumbs up of approval as you squeeze Reina's hand
You're lucky to have a bestie AND girlfriend in Reina
⋆。‧˚ʚ🍓ɞ˚‧。⋆
♡ 𝒱𝒶𝓁𝑒𝓃
Yep; you've done it now
You've fallen for the town's doctor
You've tried so hard to put your feelings on the backburner simply because you think she's way over your league and Juniper would never let you live it down once she finds out you were rejected by Valen (oh ho ho ho ho!)
But my god; that doctor is beautiful and you had to tell her you love her or else you'd go mad
As your lovesick thoughts take over on how you'd woo Valen, you forget you're in the mines rn and one of those rock bastards make you trip and smack your head on the mine floor
You shed a tear as you pass out, regretting not being able to tell the hot doc how you feel (rip bozo)
You slowly open your eyes to see Valen over you with a light behind her
"My angel... am I dead?"
But no; you're just at the clinic and Valen is there tending to your injuries
"My, you've had quite the injury. You need to be more careful, (Y/N)."
She tells you you had a concussion and you should stay away from the mines until you're better
After a few hours of monitoring you, she discharges you and lets you go home and write to her if anything
Write? BINGO
You definitely write her, but not to whine about your injuries, but tell her exactly how she makes you feel
After a few days of silence, as you start to worry, she one day pops up on your farm with the letter in her hands, a slight blush on her face
"A love letter, hm? How cute... why don't we chat about what's happening here?"
You don't hesitate to let her inside your house to talk things further
You two will most definitely take things slow, but nonetheless you two will take care of each other and blossom this relationship to something beautiful
⋆。‧˚ʚ🍓ɞ˚‧。⋆
♡ 𝒥𝓊𝓃𝒾𝓅𝑒𝓇
You almost didn't want to have these feelings for this Mean Girl ₜₘ
But goddammit you wanted the hot witch lady whether you liked it or not
When you receive yet another invite to be her guinea pig you take this as an opportunity to get your feelings out of the way
You reluctantly arrive at the bathhouse to see the lady of your dreams looking as attractive as she ever has
Did she already give you some kind of potion? Under some kind of spell?
After you give the good boi Doozy well-deserved pets, you give yourself up to Juniper as she performs all kinds of experiments
You turn into a variety of things until you're a frog, in which she has trouble changing you back
"I dunno, (Y/N). This is a great look for you! Ohohohoho~!"
Before you get pissed at her, you recall a certain fairy tale and smirk.
"Doesn't a kiss from a beautiful princess turn me back?"
She nearly chokes
"A-A PRINCESS?! How dare-"
You both turn to see Doozy bark and point his paw to a page in the spell book and sure enough, a kiss in fact DOES reverse it
Yep; Doozy the Wingman LOL
She groans and gives in, kissing your froggy head, and you turn back to normal
"There. Satisfied?"
"I dunno~ Maybe the spell didn't work~"
"You little-"
You silence her with a quick peck on the cheek and dart out of the bathhouse, leaving a baffled and blushing mess out of Juniper
Not a confession per-se, but you got her thinking about you and craving more.
Once you finally tell her though, I'm sure she might warm up to you by then
(well maybe lol)

moments / kim sunoo
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
synopsis: just random fluff moments with your favorite person
pairing: kim sunoo x reader
warnings: tooth rotting sweetness, written in 3rd person

Here's to my sunoo stans who don't get the justive they deserve
Tumblr media
"Is there any moments that are your favorite?" the interviewer asking sunoo, hoping to get any information on sunoo's relationship that was just announced to the public.
"I love every moment I get to have with yn but if I had to name a few..." that's when he started to go into his own little world and reminisce on the times he's had with you.
I. Questioning Your Relationship:
Yn sat on the grassy hill, the sun shining brightly overhead as a light breeze played with their hair. Lost in the melody of "Never Gonna Give You Up," they hummed the tune, unaware of Sunoo's approach until he sat down beside them.
"What was it that made me fall for you, again?" Sunoo asked, a playful smile tugging at his lips.
Yn paused their humming, turning to look at him with a grin. "My undeniable charm and dazzling wit, of course."
Sunoo chuckled, reaching over to intertwine their fingers. "I think it might've been your terrible taste in music."
Yn gasped in mock offense, nudging him playfully. "Hey, Rick Astley is a classic!"
"True," Sunoo conceded, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to Yn's cheek. "But I think I fell for you because of moments like this, just being together, enjoying the simple things."
Yn felt their heart swell with affection, leaning into his touch. "Well, get ready for a lifetime of terrible music and simple moments, because I'm never gonna give you up."
Sunoo laughed, pulling Yn closer. "I wouldn't have it any other way."
II. You Feel Like Home
On their anniversary, Yn decided to surprise Sunoo with a homemade dinner, despite their usual lack of culinary expertise.
In the kitchen, pots and pans clattered as Yn attempted to follow the instructions, occasionally pausing to consult their phone or taste-test a sauce with a dubious expression. Sunoo, sensing the chaos from the living room, couldn't resist peeking in to see what was happening.
"What's cookin', good lookin'?" Sunoo teased, leaning against the doorway with a grin.
Yn turned, a faint blush dusting their cheeks. "Just attempting to make us a fancy dinner for our anniversary," they admitted sheepishly.
Sunoo's eyes softened with affection as he stepped closer, wrapping his arms around Yn from behind. "You didn't have to go through all this trouble, you know. Just being with you is special enough for me."
Yn leaned back into his embrace, smiling at his reflection in the kitchen window. "I know, but I wanted to do something special for you. Besides, how hard can cooking be, right?"
As the evening progressed, the kitchen filled with the aroma of their culinary experiment. Despite a few mishaps along the way, they managed to put together a meal that, while not quite gourmet, was made with love.
Sitting down at the table adorned with candles and flowers, Yn and Sunoo shared a laugh as they sampled their creation. It might not have been perfect, but in that moment, surrounded by warmth and affection, it was the most delicious meal they had ever tasted.
III. Where It All Started
Yn had been harboring a massive crush on Sunoo for what felt like forever. Every time they were around him, their heart raced, their palms grew sweaty, and coherent sentences seemed to flee from their mind. But despite their best efforts to flirt, they couldn't seem to muster up the courage to confess their feelings.
Fortunately, Yn had a group of friends who were not only aware of their crush but were also massive shippers of the potential romance.
One day, as Yn sat with the Enhypen in their favorite café, they couldn't resist stealing glances at Sunoo, who was engrossed in a book at the opposite end of the table.
Jake, ever observant, nudged Yn with a mischievous grin. "You should totally ask him to join you for a movie night this weekend. It's the perfect opportunity to cozy up together."
Sunghoon chimed in, "And you can make sure to pick a romantic movie. You know, to set the mood."
Jay added with a wink, "And don't forget the popcorn. Extra butter."
Yn blushed furiously, but they couldn't deny the appeal of the plan. With a nod of determination, they resolved to follow their friends' advice.
That weekend, armed with a carefully curated movie selection and an abundance of popcorn, Yn nervously invited Sunoo over for a movie night. To their relief, he accepted with a smile, and soon they found themselves snuggled up on the couch, bathed in the glow of the TV screen.
As the movie played, Yn stole glances at Sunoo, heart pounding in their chest. And to their delight, they noticed him mirroring their actions, his gaze lingering a little longer than usual.
IV. I Love You
Yn's heart raced as they gathered the courage to speak the words they had been holding back for so long.
"You know I love you, right?" they finally confessed, their voice barely above a whisper.
Sunoo's eyes softened, a fond smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "I hope so, otherwise this whole relationship will get really awkward," he replied, his tone teasing but filled with warmth.
With a contented sigh, they buried their face in the crook of Sunoo's neck, feeling a sense of peace settle over them.
V. My Support System
Sunoo sat hunched over his desk, the soft glow of his computer screen illuminating the darkened room. He had been up late, grappling with a particularly tricky melody for a new song, his thoughts a jumble of notes and lyrics.
Lost in his creative process, he was startled when he felt a gentle hand on his shoulder. Turning around, he saw Yn standing there, a comforting smile on their face as they held out a steaming cup of tea.
"I thought you might need a little pick-me-up," Yn said softly, their eyes filled with concern. "Thank you," he murmured, touched by Yn's thoughtfulness.
With a tender kiss on the top of his head, Yn settled into the chair beside him, offering their support without a word. Together, they worked side by side, Yn offering encouragement and feedback as Sunoo poured his heart and soul into the music.
Finally, as the first light of dawn began to peek through the curtains, Sunoo played the final notes of his song, a sense of accomplishment flooding through him. Turning to Yn, he couldn't help but smile, grateful for their unwavering support.
"Couldn't have done it without you," he said softly, his voice filled with gratitude. Yn smiled back, their eyes sparkling with pride. "Anytime," they replied.
VI. Furniture Shopping
Sunoo sighed as he surveyed the sorry state of his dorm's couch, its once sturdy frame now marred by broken legs thanks to the mischievous antics of his fellow members. With a resigned shake of his head, he turned to Yn, who had volunteered to help him pick out a replacement.
"Well, I guess it's time to go furniture shopping," Sunoo said with a wry smile, trying to make light of the situation.
And so, armed with a list of furniture stores, Sunoo and Yn set out on their quest. They wandered through showroom after showroom, testing out various couches of all shapes and sizes. Some were too stiff, others too lumpy, but finally, they stumbled upon the perfect one.
It was love at first sit. The couch was plush and inviting, with cushions so soft that they seemed to envelop them in a warm embrace. Sunoo and Yn sank into its depths, letting out simultaneous sighs of contentment.
"This is it," Sunoo declared, a grin spreading across his face as he leaned back against the cushions.
Yn nodded in agreement, their smile mirroring Sunoo's. "Definitely. It's like sitting on a cloud." For a moment, they simply sat there, enjoying the comfort of the new couch and the quiet companionship of each other.
VII. Accidents
Yn winced as they shifted on the couch, their ankle throbbing with pain despite the comforting weight of the cast encasing it. They had been laid up with a sprained ankle for what felt like an eternity, forced to rely on crutches to get around and feeling more than a little frustrated with their immobility.
Sunoo, ever the supportive boyfriend, sat beside them, a sympathetic expression on his face as he watched Yn struggle with their discomfort. Determined to lift their spirits, he reached for a marker and carefully began to doodle little hearts on Yn's cast.
"What are you doing?" Yn asked, their curiosity piqued by Sunoo's sudden burst of creativity.
"Just trying to make your cast a little more stylish," Sunoo replied with a grin, his hand moving deftly as he added more hearts to the design.
Yn couldn't help but smile at his efforts, the simple gesture warming their heart despite the pain in their ankle. As Sunoo continued to doodle, they leaned against him, grateful for his presence and the comfort of his touch.
"Thanks," Yn murmured, their voice soft with appreciation.
Sunoo glanced up from his artwork, his eyes meeting Yn's with a tender gaze. "Anything for you," he replied, his tone filled with sincerity.
VII. YN To The Rescue
Yn slipped out of bed, determined to satisfy Sunoo's hunger pangs. They quickly threw on a hoodie and sneakers, grabbing their keys and wallet before heading out into the cool night air.
The streets were quiet and deserted as Yn made their way to the nearest convenience store, their steps quickening with each passing minute. Finally, they reached their destination and hurried inside, scanning the aisles until they found what they were looking for: tteokbokki, Sunoo's favorite late-night snack.
Grabbing a few packs of the spicy rice cakes, Yn made their way to the checkout counter, their heart racing with anticipation. They couldn't wait to see the look of delight on Sunoo's face when they presented him with his beloved treat.
Minutes later, Yn returned home, the warm glow of the streetlights casting long shadows as they unlocked the door and tiptoed inside.
With a smile, Yn crept into the kitchen, quietly preparing the tteokbokki before placing it on a plate and carrying it to the bedroom. They presented him with the steaming dish, his eyes lighting up with delight as he caught sight of his favorite snack.
"You didn't have to," Sunoo murmured, touched by Yn's thoughtfulness.
Yn simply shrugged, a fond smile playing on their lips. "Anything for you, especially when it comes to tteokbokki." And as they sat together in the dim light of the bedroom, sharing the spicy rice cakes and laughing softly.
IX. Stuck With You
Sunoo peered out the window, dismay written all over his face as he watched the rain pour down in sheets, drenching the streets outside. It was supposed to be the day of their long-awaited date, but Mother Nature had other plans.
With a sigh, he turned to Yn, who stood beside him, their disappointment palpable. "Looks like our plans are ruined," he said, a hint of regret in his voice.
Yn nodded, a small frown marring their features. "Yeah, I was really looking forward to it."
But Sunoo wasn't one to let a little rain dampen their spirits. With a mischievous grin, he grabbed Yn's hand, pulling them towards the couch. "Well, since we're stuck indoors anyway, why don't we make the most of it?"
And so, they spent the afternoon huddled together on the couch, surrounded by blankets and pillows as they delved into the depths of Sunoo's movie collection. Some were classics, others were so bad they were almost unwatchable, but they laughed and joked through them all, their spirits buoyed by each other's company.
As evening approached and the rain showed no signs of letting up, they snuggled closer together on the couch, content to stay cocooned in their little bubble of laughter and love.
X. Bad Decisions
Sunoo's eyes sparkled with excitement as he pointed towards the towering roller coaster, its loops and twists standing out against the vibrant backdrop of the amusement park. "Come on, Yn, let's go on that one!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with enthusiasm.
Yn hesitated for a moment, their stomach twisting with nerves at the sight of the formidable ride. Roller coasters were never their favorite, but they didn't want to disappoint Sunoo, who was practically bouncing with anticipation.
"Okay, let's do it," Yn agreed, forcing a smile as they tried to muster up some courage.
The safety bar clicked into place, trapping them in place as the coaster lurched forward, climbing higher and higher until they were soaring through the air.
Yn's heart pounded in their chest as the coaster hurtled down the first drop, their stomach dropping with it. They gripped the safety bar with white-knuckled intensity, their eyes squeezed shut as they tried to block out the sensation of freefalling.
Beside them, Sunoo whooped with excitement, his laughter mingling with the screams of the other riders. But as the coaster continued its wild journey, Yn's initial bravado began to fade, replaced by a growing sense of dread.
By the time the ride came to an end, Yn was a trembling mess, their breath coming in ragged gasps as they stumbled out of their seat. Sunoo looked over at them with concern, his excitement tempered by the realization that Yn hadn't enjoyed the ride as much as he had hoped.
"Are you okay?" Sunoo asked, his voice filled with worry as he reached out to steady Yn.
Yn nodded weakly, their legs feeling like jelly as they leaned against Sunoo for support. "I think I'll stick to the gentler rides from now on," they admitted sheepishly, a weak smile tugging at their lips.
Sunoo wrapped an arm around Yn's shoulders, pulling them close as they made their way out of the amusement park. "That's okay," he said gently, his voice filled with understanding. "As long as we're together, it doesn't matter what rides we go on."
XI. Concert Surprise
Sunoo stepped onto the stage, the roar of the crowd enveloping him like a warm embrace as he prepared to perform for his adoring fans. The energy in the air was palpable, crackling with excitement and anticipation.
Little did Sunoo know, amidst the sea of faces in the audience, Yn stood front and center, a banner clutched tightly in their hands, their heart pounding with nervous excitement. They had traveled for hours to be here, determined to surprise Sunoo and show him their unwavering support.
As the music filled the air and Sunoo began to sing, Yn's eyes never left him, their heart swelling with pride at the sight of their boyfriend commanding the stage with such confidence and charisma. They held up their banner high, the words "Sunoo, You're Our Star!" emblazoned across it in bold letters, hoping that Sunoo would catch a glimpse of it amidst the sea of fans.
And then, it happened. Sunoo's gaze flickered over the crowd, his eyes locking with Yn's as he spotted the banner waving proudly in the air. A smile spread across his face, his heart swelling with love and gratitude at the sight of Yn, their unwavering support shining bright in the dimly lit arena.
In that moment, Yn felt a rush of overwhelming joy wash over them as Sunoo sang his heart out, pouring his soul into every note. They cheered and applauded with the rest of the crowd, their voice hoarse from shouting Sunoo's name, but they didn't care. They were just happy to be here, to witness Sunoo's talent and passion firsthand, and to show him just how much he meant to them.
After the concert, as Sunoo made his way offstage, he spotted Yn waiting for him, their eyes shining with pride and adoration. Without hesitation, he made a beeline for them, pulling them into a tight embrace as he whispered words of thanks and love into their ear.
"Thank you for being here," Sunoo said softly, his voice filled with emotion.
Yn smiled up at him, their heart overflowing with love. "I wouldn't have missed it for the world," they replied, their voice filled with sincerity.
XII. Fake It Till You Make It
Sunoo and Yn lay in bed side by side, the glow of the TV casting eerie shadows across the room as they tried to shake off the lingering effects of the horror movie they had just watched. Despite their best efforts to appear unaffected, both knew that sleep would be elusive tonight.
"Pretty intense movie, huh?" Sunoo remarked casually, his voice carefully casual as he tried to gauge Yn's reaction.
Yn shrugged nonchalantly, their heart still racing from the adrenaline of the film. "Yeah, it was alright," they replied, their tone equally noncommittal.
Silence settled between them, punctuated only by the faint sounds of the night outside. But despite their attempts to play it cool, both Sunoo and Yn were acutely aware of the tension in the air, the lingering unease that the movie had left behind.
"Are you scared?" Sunoo asked suddenly, unable to contain his curiosity any longer.
Yn hesitated for a moment before shaking their head adamantly. "Of course not," they replied, their voice a little too forceful to be convincing.
Sunoo raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "Me neither," he said, his voice teasing as he tried to mask his own unease.
But as the minutes stretched into hours and sleep continued to elude them, Sunoo and Yn found themselves drawing closer together, seeking comfort in each other's presence.
And as dawn began to break outside the window, casting a soft glow over the room, Sunoo and Yn finally allowed themselves to relax, the tension of the night slowly fading away.
