Idk which characters count as main and which don't, and there's a lot of them, so I'll list the ones I remember off the top of my head, hope that's ok!

Nef: entertaining and also has lore so that's cool. Simultaneously wholesome and fucking terrifying. Also he was revealed to be a cannibal while this post was in my drafts and honestly I think I like them more now. Shoutout for jumpstarting the lore

Unskilled: at first they seemed somewhat anticlimactic but I grew fond of their attitude now that we know, uh, everything else that was revealed about them. It makes a lot more sense now for sure. I really wanna see where their story goes and they also make me sad what do you mean they were suicidal at the age of 6

Prof: stuff is going on.... they're interesting. Very interesting. Studying them

Terro: GAME-BREAKING BUG?? GAME-BREAKING BUG!?!? [game-breaking bug?? Game-breaking bug!?!?]. Yknow if I had written this part a day before I did it would have been something like 'silly moth child' but now there's Things.

Select: I want to protect them. I have thoughts about him but I can't put them into words, know that I do care about its lore. Bonus points for having a plush, they're great

Mini: they deserved better but everyone here does tbh. How did it get into the game. Why's the game slowly destroying them. Is is even meant to exist?

Vance: love to have an in-universe conspiracy theorist. I get a feeling that they might become a little obsessed [little obsessed] with their theories in the future

Cmd: is he a main character if most of what he did was glitch through walls. But like in a plot significant way. He does Know Things, however, so he'll definitely be very very important in the future (I might be forgetting some important things he did besides getting Prof and Mini into the void. I'm not writing things down and I have memory issues ok?)

More a vent than anything. I've opened up about this to some friends, but I feel putting it out here will help me heal somehow.

In both of my KH OC's post-timeskip designs, she's wearing something on one knee (it's actually the whole leg in her Departure outfit!), and on one ankle (though it doesn't show in the other pic).

This is because

1) I wanted her to look athletic (I have many concept sketches of her in gym clothes). I've always noticed how some athletes wear a sleeve for support on only one limb, and I find the asymmetry interesting. I wanted to emulate that look in her design. And

2) In her story, she eventually gets mentored by Terra who has armor on only 1 arm, and I wanted them to match. For him, it's an arm, for her, it's a leg.

I thought of these 2 designs separately. Then I guess it did that thing where a character writes itself. I looked at both of them and thought: hey they're on the same limbs in both designs. Right knee, left ankle. I wonder why? Did she get injured before during her time competing in fighting rings? Did an opponent do it on purpose to put her out of the game?

And then one day I woke up with a freaking overuse injury on my wrist that I'm still recovering from and this past year has been really shitty on me and I've had to mentally deal and just hang in there this whole time.

And it's not just the actual injury that's hard, it's also the mental part of it, the trauma from suddenly waking up with fucky wucky hand and the shitty months that ensued. It's being absolutely BLINDSIDED by this shit cus it hit so suddenly. It's the betrayal of the things you love, and the nature of the daily grind, being what fucks you over. It's the pain of having to choose between doing something you love and relaxing and being happy for 1 night, versus NOT being in pain or potentially worsening your condition. It's the struggle of being so cut off from your coping mechanisms (or heck, just feeling positive emotion) and having to somehow hang in there without them. It's the loneliness and frustration of having nothing to do because there's nothing you're ABLE to do.

And even when you start to recover -- so the splint's off, great! -- that doesn't mean you're ok yet, bcus now you have to face people's judgment. It's looking normal but not being able to do things other people can (cus you're still in recovery), and them looking at you funny (and they probably think you're just lazy or weak). It's having to explain the long ass nature of injury recovery again and again. It's acquiring resentment towards the things that put you in this position. It's hesitating to do a thing because maybe you can handle it now... or maybe it'll take you back to square one. It's the trauma of the seemingly harmless absolutely harming you. It's the anxiety of 'what if this happens again'? What if I'm doing something that will injure me again? What if doing a thing just this once injures me again? What if it's another x months of shit? It's the irony of "using your muscles will strengthen them" but also "if you do it too much, you get an injury."

And it's having to come to terms with the reality of all of it. It's hearing stories from other people and finding out that yes, while people can fully recover, others never quite do. There are those who retain some chronic pain, or cannot quite regain their full range of motion. There are those who are fine but had to give up an activity or hobby for good. There are things that can very suddenly destroy you.

And when the dust settles, what then? What's left after you lost things and now it's just blankness? Am I just temporarily burned out or is the fire out forever?

So I decided: my KH OC Lila has an overuse injury too. It's on one knee and one ankle, and she gained it over time from back when she was frequently competing in fighting rings for a living (I've yet to explain that part of her story). She's able to walk around fine, but needs some support/protection when she fights (hence the brace/armor). But it eventually gets to the point after the story where she has to give up fighting forever, and because of that, she never makes it to keyblade Master level.

It did!!!! Salt and I were on vc when I was going through this part (would've been on vc when they went through it, but we can blame my headphones for dying for that and the fact that they were ahead of me for a few different reasons) and Salt was able to listen to me as I lost my shit at finding out the truth.

There was a lot of "what the fucks" being said. I feel like they did really well with Arven and Turo's story both together and separately. Salt and I both had our theories on why the professors were absent from the game/Arven's life and it definitely went in a different direction than we thought it was going to.

Oh my goodness for real though, when I discovered it I deadass texted Queenie to get back on call with me. I had to know her reaction because I was speechless. Legit couldn't form words at all. I was thrown for a total loop. Like Queenie said, we both had theories as to why they weren't present, but what happened totally came out of left field!

I just...I do love how they portrayed Arven for everything that happened, and how the characters around him reacted. I really feel like this was a true story about friendship and overcoming obstacles. I don't think I have ever felt for characters as much as I have for Scarlet and Violet. I wanted to hug Arven and tell him everything would be fine. I wanted to reassure Penny that she's great and go to school with her. Hell, I even get Nemona. Imagine being so good at something naturally that even when up against someone who's supposedly the best, you had to hold back. Then you see this kid with the same potential you had. Of course you're going to be overly excited. Someone to finally challenge you in something you love. Ya she came across as annoying at times, but I get it.

Sorry for rambling, honestly I could do a total deep dive on why I love these characters. Team Star? Oh babies, I'm here for you. I just...I loved the game. It had its glitches, but the story was there.

I would definitely want to be less secretive than her, that much I know; I would certainly try to be as upfront as I could from the start, and I would want people to be as well-informed as possible - not that it would be easy in certain situations, since many of her patients are delirious or actively dying without any time to think such a decision through. I would have too much of a bleeding heart to simply ignore the sick and go on with my day, even though the alternative isn't exactly ideal either...

Aw, thank you! Yes, I have always been interested in writing; even before I learned how to read and write at age four, apparently I sat in my bed telling stories to my stuffed animals according to my parents, so it seems as if I have always wanted to get some stories out.

I feel very happy that I'm this motivated regarding my story - I think the fact that it's an interactive novel helps me combating writer's block since there are much alternative text and different ways to go; it's harder to find myself stuck when there is more to do, hehe.

Ooh, let's see here! That's a tricky question in a sense, who I would romance, since I love all my character the same amount, but seeing this from an outside perspective, how I would have played the game if it wasn't mine and I didn't know what I know right now, thinking about the playstyle I would pick... I think I will have to say Aubrey, because I wouldn't be able to resist playing as an absolutely unhinged and ravenous character during my first playthrough, haha, just embracing each and every craving, and since Aubrey is and does just that, they would be quite compatible, my character and him... So chances are that his romance would come quite naturally to the sort of character I would amuse myself with!

The Umbrella Academy S3 is a mess

It has been almost a month and a few weeks that I watched season 3 of TUA and while talking with my best friend about some stuffs that disappointed me in this new season, I decided to write and post it to the public cus I want to know if there is more people that agree with us. Before reading my rant, there is some spoilers ahead!

1 - The wasted potential of Sparrow Academy

A few months before the episodes of season 3 be aired on Netflix, the official pages of TUA were doing a huge promotion of the Sparrows. But when we finally got to watch it, Marcus dies in the first episode (racist as fuck, not gonna lie), after that Jayme and Alphonso are the next ones to die in episode 3 and in a really brutal way (was the extremely gore really necessary?) and then Fei and Chris get kugelblitzed by the end of the episode 7... But there were no signs of backstory or character development from the Sparrows at all: Sloane wanted to travel around the world but it got ignored for the rest of the season; Sparrow Ben is a huge bitch for no reason and forgets about Jayme and Alphonso just like Sloane after that scene she gets tied up and we barely know what’s Marcus powers. If the Sparrows didn’t have any background to begin with, then why the huge promotion about them? Only because they were new characters? 

2 - Way too many characters to make character development

This new season has another problem that happens a lot in almost every show: too much characters to work with. The lore becomes really messy when lots of characters show up and there is a few episodes to explore their personalities and backstories. Probably if TUA had more than 10 episodes each season, this could have prevent this problem or even doing part 1 and part 2 just like Stranger Things did, because this section also adds to the first problem I mentioned above. There were so little time to know the Sparrows better and maybe having more episodes could give them some justice (together with other subplots of the series that were rushed or badly written for the lack of time). And this issue also ruined the development of some of the Umbrellas too. Their subplots mostly felt plastic or resolved pretty fast and the only ones that had genuine grow was Viktor, Klaus, Diego and Lila (at least in my opinion).

3 - Luther and Sloane’s forced romance

I mean, it’s good to move on from someone that the relationship didn’t work out and let’s be honest, LutherxAllison is incest, but you don’t need to fall in love with another person to get over this previous crush. Not always a person will move on from their ex partner/ex crush just because they met someone else, there are cases that person A just no longer has romantic feelings for person B and break up with them and/or person A breaks up the abusive relationship they’re having and they move on from person B without getting taken. I wanted this to happen with Luther, but for some reason, the writers decided to give another love interest to him and make Sloane lose her entire personality and interests to get married with Luther. It’s really frustating watching them growing feelings for each other magically and seeing their dating adding nothing to the plot. Is no one tired of seeing cartoons, shows, movies, games and etc forcing straight characters to be together as a couple, especially when it’s related to the main characters? A cis male character and a cis female character can’t be just friends?

4 - Allison’s badly written villain arc

Usually I’m fine with good characters becoming villains, especially when they’ve reasons for it, however, Allison’s villain arc was bad and the only thing I felt for her was disgust. I wanted to hug Viktor so bad for trying to resolve everything in a peaceful way without getting things worse while his family was considering use Harlan as a trading coin and even threated his life for his decisions. Allison was the first sibling to see Viktor was a person in season 1 and tried her best to be a good sister, but in this season, she became a bitch with him and even committed murder to piss Viktor off... What the actual fuck??? And by the end of the season, the show tries to make you feel bad for Allison after she did some pretty fuck up shit and she doesn’t show any signs of regretting doing them. She tells Viktor to trust her and then she appears somewhere else while her siblings are in another place and they don’t mention Allison once, just Sloane... what? Also, the way the show treated Harlan as the bad guy in the story and his death were so uncomfortable, because usually on media, autistic people is seeing as weird, apathic or even worse... I’m autistic/neurodivergent and this kind of bad representation makes me even more scared to tell people I’m autistic...

5 - The weird incest and farts fetish

At first, the interaction between Klaus and Sparrow Ben was improving a little bit, but around the episode 8, there’s a scene that applies incest around them and seeing Klaus explaining it to Ben was so disgusting... And this season also showed some farts scenes aswell, and thanks to these scenes, I’m pretty sure Steve and Jeff are into incest and fart fetish... Sadly in the fandom, there are a lot of people that are openly proshippers and defend the incestous couple between the siblings and even harass and stalk the other fans. So I really recommend you guys to be careful where you are browsing fanart of TUA anywhere, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter...

Finally started reading The Kindly Ones and already got to Hob’s part and wow, okay these two need to STOP meeting up outside their centennial appointments to say goodbye.

Also, poor Nuala. She was really hoping that Dream liked her enough to fight for her. This little faery has been through so much shit lately, being passed around like an object, kept from her home and brother, and all she wanted was to be wanted. I remember in A Game of You how happy she was when she decided to tell Dream about her involvement in stuff and he told her she had acted well for it, she really just wanted to be needed and for someone to fight for her because no one ever did, not even Cluracan. She really just wanted some validation that she was loved and worthy enough for someone to stand up for her and say “no, you can’t have her, she belongs here.” 

Like... Damn, I relate to her so much, I love her with all my heart. ‘Cus there it is, one should strive to be self-sufficient and be able to love themselves and learn not to rely on outsiders too much, but everyone needs a fucking hug and to be told they are loved once in a while. There’s no shame in wanting that. There’s no shame at all in wishing for someone to say “you matter, I love you and I don’t want you to disappear from my life, I want you to stay.” That’s all she wanted...

And I’m so sure that if she had turned to Dream and told him she wanted to stay, he 100% would have done something about it, he would challenge Titania and would not allow Nuala to leave under any circumstances if he thought she absolutely wanted to stay in his realm. But she didn’t give any indication on what she wanted, she just said his will was her own, so he probably believed it made no difference to her and gave her his blessing to go. I understand there are nuances here, she’s probably being influenced by the belief she doesn’t have any autonomy, that she’s at the mercy of everyone, queen Titania, Cluracan, Dream, whatever, that she’s no more than cattle, something to be bartered away to bribe a king, a thing to be possessed instead of a conscious being with her own thoughts and emotions. It just... wrecks me. I’m wrecked and so sad for her. I wish someone in the Dreaming would have seen her suffering and been enough of her friend to at least go and say goodbye. Dream himself says she has a good heart, and she does NOT deserve this kind of shoddy treatment.

Lmao, here I was going to make a post about how I was afraid for Dream’s fate and how events will unfold until they culminate in his demise and went on a tangent about one of The Sandman’s most fucking tragic side characters and how she deserves better.

I have been thinking abt nothing but possible future "Legends" series games and of course it involves train man so here's my concept for a possible feature.

My favorite part of PLA really is the fact Alpha pokemon will just chase and beat the shit out of you, encouraging the player to be tactical and hide and stuff, so if there's going to be another Legends game and a continuation to Ingo's story (idk tho cus I understand it's tragic and has happened before but his story just feels so unfinished to me) I want one that takes place in Unova around the era when the trains are still relatively new.

I want Emmet sent to the past as well with the same screwed up memories, only that Unova feels so so verry familiar to him but at the same time not. The ancestors of people he knew makes him feel like he knows them but he can't put his finger on it, the most familiar place to him are the trains and tunnels. The various twists and turns of what would soon be Unova's subway in the future is so familiar to him, but he doesn't even know why he knows so much about the place when all he remembers is his name.

The second most familiar thing to him are joltiks, also happens to be a rising issue for the people in Unova -- joltik infestations. With the creation of the rail tunnels and the engineers' decision to use electricity to power the underground carts, joltiks have begun to dwell in these tunnels, and while that seems to be more of a hazard to the safety of the joltiks and galvantulas, joltiks were beginning to appear nearly everywhere.

They feed on the electricity that runs through the underground rail lines and causes the trains to break down and people start making complaints, but people also start telling stories that there's a ghost in the tunnels causing these things to happen because some of them have begun reporting seeing a silhouette of a man while travelling underground. Rather than a the majority complaining about the joltiks, the trains breaking down has become associated with the ghost story of Gear Station's "Tunnel Man."

Emmet, being the reason for the population increase of joltiks and galvantulas, bringing the joltiks from chargestone cave to the subway to snack on the electricity as a treat, remains as a rumored ghost until some poor kids actually go down into the tunnels to look for the Tunnel Man.

Emmet, who hasn't seen another human being in these tunnels for about a year, does not remember how to human, but recalls what he's supposed to do in these tunnels. He sees the pokemon accompanying these kids and immediately the autism kicks in and he doesn't exactly remember his job but he knows he loves battling and that's what he always did so he's like "OH! I fight them!! Yes that is what I do!!" and the last thing they hear is "Aim for Victory!!" before a hoard of galvantula just sweep these poor kids.

Imagine you get sent to the past and land in Unova, you do your little tasks, find out that the land is progressing but still, many wild pokemon are out there and the safest option for travel is the underground tunnels (future subway!!) you go there and there's another power out so you gotta walk. Then somewhere in your 30 minute travel from Anville to Mistralton, there's a man in the tunnels looking like he has not seen the light of day for three years and he sees you. You think it's an npc, or even one of the important characters to encounter for the story. He makes eye contact with you and it's the same type of cut where the "eye-contact with other trainers initiates a battle" type of thing happens but instead of a battle, the game shows the player the "sprint tutorial."

In the Battle Subway, all pokemon participating get adjusted to level 50, so I like to imagine they don't have that technlogy yet because why would they, these tunnels are for travel, not battle. If you do end up fighting Emmet in a battle, it won't matter if you're level 5 or level 32 or level 60, Tunnel Man Emmet's going to be carrying 3-4 pokemon and the first thing he sends out is like a level 88 galvantula. If you beat him, he congratulates you then goes "hope to see you again!" and maybe some stuff he says in his script and the next encounter is always worse than the last. You can get away from his trainer battles if you throw a fluffy tail at him. You have a 3 second grace period to get to the light before he notices and starts chasing you. You can turn around to see he's doing the arm swing power walk but he's just getting closer while you aren't running.

If Legends Arceus was able to give us a 3-phase boss fight, then there can be a use for the run option in trainer battles.

I already can't run from Cynthia, you might as well give me a chance to run away from the "optional" boss.

headcannon wise, ingo can whistle but emmet can't, and the fact drives emmet up the fucking wall. he tries so hard, all the time, but can't manage. poor baby.

woohoo!!! finally completed my replay of dawn of the new world!! 😌❤️ it had been over a decade since i last played this game, so my memory was a bit fuzzy on certain story aspects and i wanted to refresh it. plus, after i finished the original symphonia for like the nth time, i was aching for more of its world and its characters. yeah this game is far from perfect and is definitely not the sequel a lot of us were expecting, but still, it has its good moments. more long rambling junk thoughts below (lmao this turned out longer than expected but i just have so many feelings about the symphonia series so i have to spew them out somewhere)!

the original symphonia cast (bare with me here). this is probably like 90% of the reason why i wanted to replay this game cus my god do i love these characters so damn much. the first time colette appeared i screamed of joy and even more so when i heard her use the iconic angel feathers in an in-game cutscene. i've said it before but if we were only able to get one VA from the original main cast (yes i know kratos is back too but he's not part of the main party), i'm glad it was colette. i know i said earlier this year that colette wasn't in my top 5 fave tales of characters, but you know what? past dany is a FOOL because with my replay of symphonia 1 and now with this, has shown me that colette is a magnificent character and must be loved and protected at all costs!!! like her accepting right away in front of marta what she did that caused the destruction of palmacosta without any excuses whatsoever? HURT my heart to the core the pure look of sadness she had but also was interesting to get a glimpse of all the accusations colette (and maybe the rest of the party?) have had to deal with, and seeing how she chooses to deal with them is like DAMN...that's *my* chosen!

other than colette, i must state the obvious that it was great having sheena aka my fave from symphonia 1 in the party for the longest out of the og cast, and getting a taste of her fulfilling her duties as chief of mizuho was refreshing from her other duty of babysitting marta and emil. also i have to give credit to her VA, she really did a decent job at channeling some of that energy that made jennifer hale's performance so iconic in my mind. i didn't care much for regal in symphonia 1 but also his new VA (which I much prefer to the original...sorry!) and having him around for much longer in this game to act as a father figure to emil made me like him even more. it's a shame that we got presea so late into the game but her story is so tragic so it was nice seeing her thriving making charms and whatnot for regal's company. overall whenever someone from the og cast would make an appearance it would warm my heart cus i mean what else can i say!!! that game and its characters were my childhood!

the music. again i know i've ranted about this before in my other tales of posts but i've yet to play another tales of game that has music as good as the symphonia titles. symphonia 1 has such fantastic music, and hearing some of it remastered was just a pleasure to hear. like...water symphony aka the luin theme? ugh that song just pierces through my heart...i think i might even like it better than the original! others songs that i didn't give much thought in the original but shone this time around for me were "in a shadowy woods" (god it's so damn haunting!) and underground passage (this version is so much more intense!). of course it also has some good original songs like "with courage" (what a fantastic battle theme!) and the "wilderness of sadness". OH AND WHO CAN FORGET the *beautiful* orchestrated english opening from the wii?? hearing it along with the opening scenes still gives me chills to this day!! ANYWAY THE POINT IS that symphonia 1 has a fantastic ost and this game did a great job honoring it.

the new main characters. emil was whiny and too much of a coward at the beginning, but seeing him grow throughout the course of the journey and accepting his role in the fate of the world was very luke fon fabre of him and a joy to watch. same with marta, she was overly clingy and just kept pushing emil to be more like she kept imagining him to be, but seeing her grow to love emil just for who he was and like...not gonna lie, the girl was NOT afraid to speak her heart out and that is SO refreshing to see. like she knew she loved emil and would not hesitate to say it to him (which was kind of eugh at the beginning but as both emil and marta grow together, it's just right!!), unlike a lot of other female love protagonists who don't say anything until the end of the game and are all =uwu= about it. but here the long-awaited kiss between the two is done before you even go into the final level of the game, and it's like THANK YOU for not making me wait until the ending rolls around!! i actually really like this main couple pairing and thought the story did a great job at making you root for them. might even be one of my favorites out of the games i've played. just two kids in love!

the voice acting. laura bailey as marta was perfect and just made me glad that we got voiced skits for this game because wow, the og casting might have been subpar but with her and johnny yong bosch's performances...oof, just beyond fantastic. especially jyb, he literally had to do three different voices for emil and the way he handled it would just continuously blow my mind every time there was a switch between the three. i also really liked alice's VA but i mean i liked alice's character overall :) (was heartbroken you have to kill her at the end though...especially considering her background!) anyway i could have played this in japanese but laura bailey + heather hogan are worth it to play the english version instead :)

the ending. and everything leading up to it, actually. like, aqua defending richter with her literal life out of the love she had for him. emil pretending to be ratatosk so no one would find out his plan. being given the choice to defeat both marta/lloyd. marta figuring out emil's plan. and just...i forgot how nicely it explains into phantasia's setting about there not being a need for mana any longer and how it would take...1000 years for the laws of the world to be rewritten. also seeing the og cast say goodbye to emil....ahhhhh my fucking heart! like PRESEA...CARVING A WOODEN BEAR FOR EMIL TO REMEMBER HE'S NOT ALONE...*that's* the presea i love!! and of course, marta and emil getting the happy ending (and NOT ambiguous like ABYSS'S!!!) that they deserve!!! love truly does win!!!! :) none of this bittersweet ending stuff like berseria or zesteria where it would have been like oh no emil will never leave the ginnungagap and will never get to live his life as a human being with the person he loves. and then they both get the perfect partner title?? shionne and alphen could never.

alright, now for the things i didn't like about the game :)

the original symphonia cast. like...i swear it was either a high or a low for me with this. seeing colette literally do anything? "omg i love this game so much it's not as bad as people say it is!". having them run a character joke to the ground (raine's ruin mode, zelos's constant pervertedness, sheena falling into pits, colette's klutziness, regal's shackles, presea and paw pads)? lloyd shunning his friends and unwilling to explain just A BIT of what he was doing (no, the reason he gives sucks and that's not lloyd)? "god this game sucks why did the writers do this why am i even still playing this". also what the hell was up with presea's obsession with paw pads this time around?? i THINK i remember a symphonia 1 skit about this but it's like..that's all she would talk about during a lot of her dotnw skits, cutscenes, and even one of her battle quotes is about it? also isn't presea supposed to be like 14 years old (appearance-wise) now? why is she still dressed like she's 10? SAME THING WITH REGAL and his jail clothes like JUST....why. ALSO couldn't they have at least re-drawn the og cast's skit drawings so they wouldn't have to come up with a dumb reason why regal still wears his jail clothes?? also my god why does lloyd's in-game model look so BAD...they mostly did a decent job with the rest (not a fond of raine's either) but lloyd's just looks terrible and i couldn't take him seriously. like...lol i could rant more about this but just a lot of things about the way the og cast was handled seemed to be out of pure laziness and actually keeps me from enjoying this game to its fullest.

the pacing. honestly sometimes the pacing of the game just felt so wack, especially when you're just trying to track down lloyd. at the beginning it really does feel like you're just jumping from town to town just so the game gets its nostalgia points in. the whole bit in izoold and the gels was a snoozefest, same thing with the remoras in that one place near palmacosta. and then you suddenly get spit back out near iselia?? oh look it's the hometown of the chosen and just lakjdflasjfladsf i know the game is short compared to other tales games (i beat it at 30 hours when usually tales games take me 50+ hours) but i just felt like the first 4? 5? chapters or so (and there's only 8...) are just all over the place and rather...uninteresting. it's not until you stop following lloyd that things start to get a bit less dull, which is when i finally started enjoying the game and its characters.

and speaking of lloyd... i know i mentioned it above but my god was this part of the story awful and deserves its own call-out. props to zelos for quickly figuring out that there was a lloyd impostor because SHEESH they really butchered his character up to make it seem like he was truly evil and thus create some more conflict on top of the vanguard stuff. like oh look, lloyd, the fallen hero, who refuses to speak to his friends and is drawing his sword at them!!! that first skit you get of him where the og cast is trying to talk to him and he's just like "i've got nothing to say". worst lloyd. like just. get out of here.

alright i think i'll stop here cus it looks like my main problems with the game are the pacing and the way they handled certain aspects of the og cast inclusion. because i mean, the original story itself (ratatosk, the centurions, why the vanguard rose) is actually not that bad and is actually pretty interesting, but if you've played symphonia 1, it's hard to enjoy this game to its fullest. i didn't mention the monster system because i mean, yeah it's kinda of weird but it's not so terrible that i actively wasn't enjoying the game because of it. so I MEAN, definitely not the best tales game out there, but it's certainly not that bad if you just focus on the new cast and story. :)

but well, enough with the symphonia gameplays (that is, until the symphonia remaster comes out lol) cus up next in the list isssss FINALLY tales of xillia!!! beyond EXCITED to start playing it, so we'll see how that journey goes! :)

i’ve said it about a hundred times already, but three tangerines is so special to me. this world you’ve created and to which you dedicate so much of your time and heart has become nothing short of comfort to me. reading your words, regardless of how angsty they often can be, feels like a hug. from yoongi slowly coming down to vulnerability, to reader slowly opening up to change and affection – these are the characters whose struggles i’ve followed hand in hand, by your side!

i know i’ve been absent and i’ve missed this community a lot (saw there’s a discord happening too, and imma apply to it asap!!), but i’ve never left, cus three tan is always with me. it’s with me when i take some time to breath and remember that i deserve to be loved, when i speak myself despite being afraid of how i’ll be perceived, when i watch fireworks or simply when i remember a dialogue, a scene, and i smile. you’ve achieved something so beautiful and so especial and i hope you know that.

DISCLAIMER: i didn't play the game myself ‘cus i don't have any type of console (n i don't play video games) so i watched MKIcenFire's gameplay of the TLOU Remake on PS5 n it was like 12 hours long i think n i watched it twice. then i watched the HBO show, then i watched the same guy play TLOU2. okay anyway i know the game well enough (I HOPE!! okay so,,,the whole game??? is a masterpiece??? plot-wise n visuals n MUSIC n characters???????????? i know TLOU1 is like Moral Dilemma the game but like i just think it's so simple really. Joel did what he did ‘cus Ellie became someone he really cares about. IMO he never really stopped being a father so Ellie just becomes his youngest daughter n a father's love knows no bounds, doesn't it? he quite literally did everything in his power 2 make sure no one would hurt his own n i think that's so... insane,,, (i wish dads were real)

i don't understand people who hate on Joel like actually *hate* him with their whole life. if they hate him ‘cus of what he used 2 do (being a hunter, etc…) then like,, that's stupid ‘cus he had 2 do what he had 2 do 2 survive. n maybe at the time that was the only way he knew how 2. he's a bad guy ‘cus he did bad guy things (like henry said) but that doesn't necessarily mean he's not a good guy or that he can't redeem himself i don’t know it just seems weird 2 not like him ‘cus of what he used 2 do that we didn't even explicitly see, n was only stated. also i get that people hate him ‘cus of what he did ‘cus like, yeah, i get it, he DID take away Ellie's right 2 'save' the world n he took her out of there without her consent BUT she's also a minor (yes i know laws don't matter but you know,, it's the principle of it i don’t know) n he decided 2 make the choice 4 her ‘cus she obviously couldn't do it herself n i think it was the right choice. also the fireflies didn't give her an option either like damn they couldn't at least ask her if she wanted 2 like say goodbye 2 Joel i don’t know like yeah ik in p2 she said she would have wanted 2 die 4 the cure but like she wasn't even told that making it would entail her dying ‘cus she explicitly stated that she wants 2 follow Joel after everything was over, so like,, yeah Joel took her choice away 2 save her life but the fireflies were going 2 force her 2 die 4 a cure that they themselves weren't even 100% sure would work. n 4 what??? she's the only immune person alive as far as they know n they won't even do SOME kind of tests first ON ELLIE 2 find shit out like i don’t know it seems kinda pointless 2 just kill her like that just 4 a chance of a vaccine. i know Dr Anderson did SOME testing b4 n a lot of research like we can see all the scans when he was talking 2 Marlene in p2 but did he do any testing on Ellie herself? i don’t know. ik all this what-ifs don't even matter n i'm just trying 2 justify Joel's actions but it's the thoughts i have hhhh like let's say the vaccine does get made... who is going 2 ensure that everyone gets a fair chance 2 have it? you're telling me FEDRA or the fireflies are gonna distribute it or something like that?? like it's not possible. also how would they get the vaccine 2 everyone in the world?? n like you think the raiders or hunters are gonna care that they're vaccinated n suddenly be good again? they're just gonna be better at murdering n like also what about all the infected. there's way 2 many of them. sure with a vaccine, lives would have been better but they're still living in a post-apocalyptic world, n more people are going 2 die than be saved n i like 2 imagine that Joel knew all this (maybe) n he chose Ellie anyway.

actually i don’t care i like 2 think he immediately stopped thinking when Marlene said they have 2 kill Ellie 2 make a 'cure' n he just didn't care about anything else anymore. yeah that fits better in my head !!

i'm gonna put it out there right now: i do NOT fuck with her at all. also let's normalise understanding a character, all their motifs n everything n still being able 2 dislike them. i hate people who are like 'oh if you dislike/hate Abby then you obviously don't understand her character' LIKE???? yes, i understand her??? her character is literally a parallel 2 Ellie's. Abby's redemption mirrors Ellie's damnation. 'you can't get mad at Abby 4 killing Joel when he killed her father.' like shut up yes i can?? in fact here i am getting mad right now. it's a cycle that never ends. Joel kills Jerry, Abby kills Joel, Ellie kills Abby's friends while searching 4 her 2 get revenge, Abby kills Ellie's friends ‘cus Ellie killed hers, n it just continues. they're both doing 2 each other the exact same thing each of them are doing 2 the other. their motivations behind all their actions are literally the same. i get it. if one side starts, the other doesn't stop. they're literally 2 sides of the same coin, i get it. i totally understand why Abby did what she did. but that DOESN'T mean i have 2 like her??? Abby dick riders getting mad n pissy when ppl don't like her as if she's not the literal antagonist of TLOU2 when you play as Ellie. she's the other playable protagonist when you play as her obviously but when it's Ellie's pov, she's obviously the villain ?? just like how Ellie is the antagonist when you play as Abby??? or at least they're both the anti-hero,, maybe,, in each other's storyline. anyway i don't care 4 Abby. i understand her character but i still dislike her. 'you only hate her ‘cus she killed Joel!' yeah… exactly. i also am aware that as someone who is insane about Joel, i am being hypocritical right now ‘cus the people who hate Joel are probably the same people who like Abby n vice versa. anyway moving on. i also don't particularly understand why people say hating Abby = hating Ellie. like yeah they're extremely similar but like,, we played around 15 hours of TLOU1 like obviously i have a stronger emotional connection with Ellie n Joel??? is that a superficial reason 2 dislike Abby?? yes but i don’t care!!! i do not fuck with her at all!!! yes i understand that Abby has gone through things that deserve sympathy/empathy 2, but like... i'm still inclined 2 be more biased about Ellie n Joel though... also like Abby told her dad that she would want him 2 do the surgery on her but i think it's easy 2 say that when you're not the one actually doing it. like we all would probably say we don't mind dying 4 a good ‘cus until we actually have 2 die n it's like,,, I DON’T KNOW like it just seems so simple 4 her 2 say she would die 4 the vaccine but she's only saying it 2 make her dad feel better n ‘cus she's not the one actually going through with it you know???? rhfjdjfjjdhh i don’t know i hope so far i'm making sense. also Dr Anderson never answered Marlene when she asked if he would do the surgery on Abby, which is an answer in itself, n that's soooo hypocritical of him 4 real sigh

UHMMM THE 'you're not my daughter, and i sure as hell ain't your dad.' OH MY GOD??? the first time i saw it i paused n almost threw up ‘cus if someone i thought was a father figure, or just like the first adult that didn't disappoint me in my life since i came out of the womb, said that 2 me when i am quite literally begging them not 2 abandon me, i would simply just drop dead n die n you would never hear from me again. THE UP N DOWN GLANCE HE GIVES ELLIE LIKE HE'S SIZING HER UP 2 B4 HE SAYS IT????? Ellie is better than me 4 real ‘cus i would never forgive him 4 that (lying, i would forgive him if he stabbed me 4 fun) like holy shit he hit her where it HURT. yes i know he did it ‘cus he was scared that he already got so attached 2 her but JEEZ MAN that's BRUTAL. the way her eyes LITERALLY drop n you can see every miniscule detail on her face detailing how HURT she felt when he said that... graphics were INSANE

GOING FROM THAT 2 THE 'oh babygirl...' SCENE??????????? WHIPLASH IS REAL BYE. ofc not 2 push aside everything that happens in between ‘cus Ellie fought like hell 2 keep Joel alive. ARGHHHH she never left him even when he asked her 2 n even when he wanted 2 leave her first, she never gave up on him :((( they care about each other SO MUCH i'm going 2 be SICK. right okay, the babygirl scene??? it felt like my heart was being healed from all the angst 4 real. the way his face is SO soft when he's trying 2 get her back 2 him like OH MY GOD also the fact that there's dialogue but no subtitles or voiceover so it's up 2 the audience's intepretation 2 tell us what Joel says 2 her when he's CRADLING her face is so fucked up. ‘cus i know some people think he's saying 'i'll promise i'll never leave you again' n some think he's saying 'i promise i'll never let anyone hurt you again' n TBH EITHER WAY, MY HEART CAN'T TAKE IT 4 REAL LIKE TBH I'M GLAD LOWKEY THERE WASN'T ANY VOICEOVER ‘CUS I WOULD NEVER STOP REPLAYING IT. BUT I WISH THERE WAS A CONFIRMATION OF WHAT HE SAID. AI Sommnium Files: Nirvana Initiative- Finally got around to playing Nirvana Initiative, I am a little conflicted as like there was plenty I was not a fan of this time around, some odd plot beats here and there really muddled it. But when it got good it really got good so like ultimately a strong recommend if you like the first one , but understand it is in my opinion not as good. Still worth the time but missing something sadly from being a stand out sequel. Still is a 4/5 tho.

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog- This was something alright, as a April fools joke game I really could not have lower expectations but it was really solid. The story was fun and lighthearted and did not fall into the 4/1 trap of just being zany for zany sake. Genuine great time 4.5/5

Class Action Park- An "okay" doc, it didn't shed any new light on the subject. The animated segments where unexpected and honestly unneeded. Still a really interesting subject that is fun to hear about. I liked how they went though each rides history 3.5/5

Alien Abduction: Incident in Lake County- A goofy old fake horror doc. As a horror movie its not the best, but it is fun to watch now just to kinda peek into alien mythos. 3/5

One Killer Punch- a really short 45 min ish doc? While the first two cases made me go "huh that's interesting" the last case really made me feel emotions, def worth a watch at the short time length 4/5

Theatrhythm Final Bar Line- Played this one kinda worried at first cus I loved the original on 3ds and thought it couldn't be adapted. Really fun and loads of songs to play with only real complaint is wish more enemy variation. 4.5/5

Mario Warfare (rewatch)- still peak cinema (10/10)

FE Engage: Fell Xenologue- Kinda weird beating and ranking this before the actual game but what can I say I wanted the units. Honestly I feel I am way more positive on this then I was for the Cinder Shadows, I just was way more invested in the story here then in there. the plot actually made me curious where it was going, I liked the twists and turns for the most part, and enjoyed its darker turn. Of course I can not talk about the dlc without talking about the maps, I played on normal which I am thankful for because god I would have raged quit on higher difficulties. 1-3 where pretty normal if not kinda bland maps. 4 was a really neat concept for a map (well neat for engage its been done in other FE games). 5 just SUCKS tho def would not play it on higher difficulty. 5 was fine on normal honestly just kinda eh. I liked the characters and stuff so idk I enjoyed my time with the Fell. Nel is prob one of my fav engage characters... while Nil is one of my least lmao

Fire Emblem Engage- Story wise was not a huge fan, felt like a big downgrade from 3 houses story (not saying 3 houses story was prefect but). The two things that really save this game for me is the later game units and the gameplay. Love almost all the later game units they add a lot of flavor, which I am glad for because early game units for the most part did like nothing for me and I was worried the whole game would have been like that. Map wise one of my favs, loved all the fun gimmicks and spins on maps. ultimately still had super fun (4/5)

Spookware- I went in really wanting to like this one. I love wario ware and funny/spooky games but dang this disappointed. Biggest issue was how damn buggy it was, constantly got bugs that made me loose levels some broke the game entirely. Episode 2 mircogames where all just GOD awful like I almost put it down multiple times. It also felt like they just ran out of clever mircogames and plot with episode 2 its weird cus it was just such a massive down grade. Plot started out interesting and fun but just ran out of steam super fast. Sadly to me (2/5)

Necrobarista- I REALLY liked this one. The constantly changing perspectives could be a real turn off for some but I thought it was fun. Story was really interesting/fun, liked the characters a ton. Only real complaint is I wished it was longer and a little more fleshed out 4.5/5

Jurassic Park Dominion- RE6 did the plot better 2/5

Fostering Apocalypse- Reaaaaaly short vn, that was hella cute with great art. Honestly so short not much to say, was not a huge fan of how mechanics work around endings but still a good time 4/5

The Spirit & the Mouse- This was great, a fairly short but really enjoyable experience. Kinda a walking sim, there is no really challenge or anything but I don't really think there needs to be. The story it tells is unique and makes me smile. 4.5/5

Idol Showdown- idk not really that big into idols but for the low price of free this is a pretty fun 30 mins or so with friends atleast. Again this game is NOT DEEP but like its a free game what do you expect lmao 3/5

Spawn HBO show- Overall really like this show... but it has some problems esp season 3. I think I liked the concept more then the actual story but like still was a fun time. Glad I saw it either way. Twitch and Burke are the best in this. 3/5

Wandersong- Honestly do not think I can put into words how this game made me feel. Back half of story was fantastic, story was well written and fun. Game play was really fresh without feeling tedious. Design and everything made me really happy. Honestly easily a 5/5

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special- Decided to finally watch this since vol 3 came out... its fine. Animated segments where awful like wow, and the plot was really meh. It was nice to see more of the guardians interactions tho. 3/5

GOTG Vol.3- I may be a little crazy for saying this but this was an amazing send off to the best franchise in the MCU. Story was great, and like the first two movies the characters all played great off each other. The high evolutionary was one of the few great mcu villains 5/5

Please Be Happy- Sadly I did not like this one as much as I did the other two vns I played by the same devs, Idk just seems the weakest of the bunch. That being said still really solid, if this is their low , then the bar is still pretty high. 4/5

Mario Movie- Yeah it was fine, nothing amazing but did not really expect it to be lmao. The references where fun at times. No where as good as Mario Warfare tho. 3.5/5

Evil Dead Rise- A really enjoyable horror movie actually. I honestly do not have much to say it was just a well put together experience. Evil Dead continues to be one of the most solid long standing horror franchises. 4/5

Gunbusters- Like other Hideki Anno works I started off not feeling it, but it got so so fucking good in the second half. I really love the actions scenes and it did make me cry at the really end. Makes me want to get more into mechs cus this is great as fuck. 4.5/5

Diebuster- You can TELL they went on to make Gurren after this, honestly I did like gunbusters more overall but this is a solid af followup. 4/5

Soul Hackers 2- Kinda conflicted here, REALLY liked the characters and concept... but like the pacing is not really up to par. Wished there was more here. Also people where not lying there is some REALLY awful dungeon design here. Still Ringo and gang are great imo. 3.5/5

Transformers- Some fights where okay actually, but god everything else was abysmal writing was laughable bad wow. 2/5

Batman Soul of the Dragon- It is weird cus like, it is clear the makers of this movie really wanted to make a fun campy 70s kung fu movie but it really just fails at it. Movie also just REALLY did not need batman, like if you took him out nothing would change, felt forced 2/5

Spider-Man:Across the Spider-Verse-Going in I actually had mixed expectations. I knew people love it but the trailers really turned me off as it just seemed.. worse then the original. Glad to say that is FAR from the case, a huge improvement on something already amazing. Easy 5/5

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen- I went in remembering this being worse then the first.. but actually it was better. ITS STILL AWFUL but like the bar was low as fuck. I am scared for the next one as this is where I stop watching as a kid 2/5

Gato does a really great job of keeping his character under tight wraps however;; what we DO know about him makes him super super interesting and intriguing! ( To me at least lol )

I'd say the most interesting and notable thing we have about him comes in the form of this pic! ( Credit to Gatobob ofc! )

The words in the background of each character seemingly represents a key factor of their character ( Derek is well...wealthy, Jack's a cop, and Komodo and Dragon are into cult shit ) and then there's Machete who's words are "Mercy"....LIKE... THAT'S SO INTERESTING RIGHT???? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???? GAHHAHAHA IT MAKES ME EXCITED TO CONSIDER WHAT COOL STORY SHIT CAN COME OF IT LOL!!!!!

His mask is also obviously clearly different from the rest of them and Gato has mentioned that she is proud of the masks because they all have meanings! So that's note worthy too I think!!

There's also his necklace which looks like it has significance in some way? (But mabye that's a bit too speculative) I wouldn't be surprised if his necklace did have meaning though!!

In a post where Gato gave a brief description of the hunters this was the description of Machete "Machete: A man of very few words. His preference for action sometimes upsets the others." It's kinda hard to infer anything from this but it's an interesting way to describe his character from Gato's part!

There's also this picture ( which is clearly from a early-ish point in the games development so this could be changed but! )

All in all its really hard to say anything about his character so far! He's super super interesting though and I.... love thinking about him LOL

Once again I am very much shooting at nothing here LOL this is pure speculation! And since we do know so little this could all be COMPLETELY WRONG LOL!!!

If I were to get super super speculative on what I think he could be like in the game I'd probably guess that there is a distinct motive for him killing ( Mabye he has a really emotional based motive or smth. Basically I think he does have some moral code ) but I do think he's not just doing it for the sake of doing it like Derek or Jack. I think that he's particularly un-diplomatic but I think that he can be convinced to not hurt the captives/players?? ( Mabye there'll be a specific scenario in the game that can lead to him being convinced or smth? ) And lastly ( I feel most confident abt this speculation lol ) I think he'll end up turning ( or can be turned against ) his fellow hunters! Like I can totally imagine him killing Jack or Derek or smth!!

Sunny’s Feelings About Basil

Warning: Longass post ahead as usual. Also Major Spoilers.

I’ve gotten DMs here and there from people who read my OMORI story explanation. I’ve been asked if I’m implying Sunny is a Bad Person cus I say he subconsciously feels both love and hatred for Basil. Also have people asking me if I think their Sunny/Basil ship is bad or problematic so lemme clear those up!

So first off: about shipping.

I don’t really care about what anyone ships and for what reason.

I also don’t mind if someone ships a relationship that is considered “unhealthy”. Like seriously, don’t be scared to ship what you want how you want. You don’t need my permission or anyone else’s. Think up whatever scenarios you like about the story and its characters, have fun.

On to Sunny and Basil:

I’ve said before that it’s very obvious to me that Sunny loves Basil and much of the game revolves around Sunny’s quest to save him. I’ve also said before that I also think there’s hatred mixed in there with Sunny’s feelings for Basil.

I think resentment towards Basil does play a significant part in Sunny’s subconscious feelings for him. Like I said before, you can talk to invisible “strangers” in the blackspace hub if you press A (on controller) while walking between the doors. Those npcs have varying things to say, including sarcastic quips about how lucky Basil is to have Omori try to save him and they also say that they’ve seen what Omori does to Basil when he isn’t “pure” or “uncorrupted” enough for him.

The fact that those strangers are part of Sunny’s psyche to begin with kinda tells me that he subconsciously feels guilt over his mind’s treatment of Basil (both the idealized Basil and the one he calls “Stranger” at the same time) cus otherwise, the stranger npcs wouldn’t make a point of talking about the horrible things Omori does to Basil or being sardonic about it.

Shadow Basil also tells Omori that he was split in half the day Sunny “became nothing”, alluding to the two Basils Sunny created in his mind. He then asks Sunny which he thinks is more painful, becoming nothing or Basil being split in two. This tells me that this isn’t just about Sunny seeing Basil “out of reach” but that it’s him/Omori realizing the way his mind separates the “pure” part of Basil from the part of him that hurts Sunny with the truth he carries.

Then afterwards, there’s the event on the good ending route in the Blackspace church where Omori stabs Basil while the latter begs Omori to stop. Not only does Omori stab Basil but he purposefully walks on his corpse. This isn’t just him not caring about the “fake” Dreamworld Basil anymore. Deliberately spiteful imagery is being used there.

There’s also the pretty ruthless choices Sunny can make during his night sleeping over at Basil’s house.

Here’s the scene we see as soon as Sunny falls asleep in Basil’s living room:

We’re shown right there that Sunny isn’t as unaware of Basil’s intentions as he looks. This means he very likely knows Basil will hurt himself unless he intervenes. Its shown by how Sunny himself (not Omori) is lying down in Whitespace, watching Basil being enveloped by “Something” until he’s swallowed up while begging for forgiveness. Note Sunny’s “epiphany” expression too.

It’s no accident that it’s this moment that makes Sunny decide to face the truth once and for all

After this, you take Sunny through the Truth album. Basil has one request he repeats during this process and it’s for Sunny to please forgive him. Sunny’s mind is shown to fixate on Basil’s words with how many times he recalls Basil asking for forgiveness.

When Sunny wakes up from the Truth Album, that’s when we get the numerous options Sunny can take.

One of Sunny’s choices can be interpreted as a message that no, he doesn’t forgive Basil when he decides to go back to sleep in the living room. Sunny wakes up and gets to choose wether to look at Basil’s corpse or not. He can then choose to go back to his house, sleep until the next day and move out with his mom.

The evidence is very much there that Sunny preemptively knows that Basil is in danger. When you go to Basil’s door, you also get the option “Do you want to save Basil?”. The wording is important here, with how “save” implies that Sunny is aware Basil’s life is on the line, that he’s aware of the consequences of not entering Basil’s room. It’s also as if the prompt is asking Sunny if he actually wants to save Basil or if he’d rather let fate take its course with him.

You can then choose “No” and then you can also choose to just go back to the living room and sleep. These are all choices Sunny can as a character can make, which imo shows his intentions without outright spelling them out. Its Sunny making a deliberate choice there of leaving Basil to die.

We could say Sunny’s fear of having to live with the truth is involved in this as well but I don’t think that’s the main reason. The fact that this whole sequence of events happens right after Sunny’s mind has been ruminating on Basil’s apologies, I get the feeling that this is all Sunny’s answer to Basil’s question of “Will you forgive me?”. Whatever action Sunny decides to take right after waking up in the living room is his final answer to Basil.

To clarify, none of this means that I’m saying Sunny is “evil” or whatever. I’ve written another analysis post before on why I really disagree with people who say Sunny is primarily cruel and/or a psychopath. Darker feelings like resentment and even anger make sense for Sunny to feel alongside fear, yearning, sadness and remorse.

Sunny’s coping mechanism of “It did not happen/ I do not see it” means it makes sense if he subconsciously also feels some particular bitterness towards Basil. Not only does Basil always inevitably force Sunny to see the truth with his mere presence alone but the way Sunny tries to avoid facing his own actions as much as possible means that blaming Basil even just a bit helps with taking himself out of Mari’s death. Another way to interpret it is that this could be a way he can use to avoid admitting what he himself did to Mari.

So yeah TL:DR: Ship whatever you like and Sunny is a complex character capable of both good and bad things simultaneously. None of this makes him irredeemable or evil or whatever.

With everyone talking about s&s going right for the kill shot, I just wanna point some stuff out rq and talk about her cus she's actually a pretty good development imo or could be used well at this part of the story.

A- she's fucking American. I highly doubt the laws for hero work are as restricted in America as they are in Japan. They prolly drop villans all the time in MHAs America. Not saying it's right, just that she probably is used to different rules and regulations.

B- she has no idea what the hell is going on. She was about to go meet up with the other pros to figure all of that out. All she knows is whatever all might said to get her there and we all know how wonderful he is at explaining things (not at all) all she knows is, that's the bad guy that's bringing down society. And she's gunna fuck him up.

C- alot of people are saying she's gunna end up just like nagant, which she might but i have a bit of faith in hori on this one. I feel like she's gunna win this fight. She's gunna nearly kill tomura, and at the last second, izuku is gunna show up out of no where and save him, which is gunna start to Crack the walls he's put up mentally. Or it could surprise the crap out of AFO and give shiggy a chance to regain control of himself and escape. Her character is probably going to be the climactic character that really puts it down how messed up heros can be when they're too quick to violence and have too little empathy for the villans they're fighting with, and lzuku and everyone else are going to very plainly see the issues with society represented by s&s. I honestly think it'll pay off. But if hori let's me down imma be pretty upset cus this is the last of my faith i got to give him with random late game female characters being thrown in 😬

D- (bonus)

This is just a little feeling I have that more cements my thinking in why it's gunna be s&s shoes people who's wrong with hero society.

She idolizes all might, fanatically. Just like stain, who also showed us issues in hero society, but she's the opposite of him. Stains lessons I believe have been taught and felt and he's been shown to be flawed when he hurt iidas brother, that he was wrong.

S&s is probably gunna be handled the same way, but on the opposite end of the scale. She represents the bad in the good. And is gunna make us think "hey, does the good this society do really outweighs the hurt it does to those less fortunate?" Because to her it does. She believes it with her entire soul, she believes in the society that brought about all might at his peak. And then, we're gunna see that she too, is flawed and her love of all might and what he represents makes her blind to the hurt she's causing, just like it was with stain. I feel like there's alot of REALLY good ways hori could take this but having s&s and stain be two sides of a coin about what is wrong with hero society would be pretty fucking good honestly.

And also, nagant totally could've done this so yes, she was still a fucking waste, but we did get more shady hero commission stuff out of her and she may yet reveal more fucked up shit they were doing, so I'm gunna withhold final judgement on all of that.
