My Very First Try doing a Meme List off of DeviantArt to post it here on Tumblr.
Tumblr media
I tend to have a lot of Male Characters when it comes to certain media that I have some Personal Bias Standards to, but when it's a Few Male Characters (either the Ones that I do have a Crush on (ex; Bolok or Poseidon) or just the ones that I think are Handsome and don't have a crush on (ex; Pedri and Ballister)).
Here is a List of some Personal Male Characters from Media that I have seen that I think are Either Attractive or just maybe Born-Handsome.
(And yes, this might be filled with Young Men and also DILFs, so please be very warned about this).
Also, Please Be Respectful and Don't Judge Me just because I happened to have a Weird Type.
Pedri Nanezgani (Ava's Demon)
King Poseidon (SpongeBob SquarePants)
King Neptune (SpongeBob SquarePants)
Lucien Bolok (Space Goofs)
Fujimoto (Ponyo)
Prince Lir (The Last Unicorn)

Not Pictured:

5, 13, 25!
5. What is your favorite book outside of your normal?
"Cyrano de Bergerac" by Edmond Rostand ;v;
13. What very popular book do you dislike/refuse to read?
Outright "refusing" is kind of hard to answer cuz I've given the Twilight series a go for fun and powered through truly sickening novels out of morbid curiosity, so uh, never say never, I can be very curious.
I have, however, stopped reading Hugh Howey's "Silo" and N. K. Jemisin's "Fifth Season" halfway through because despite being very interesting and well written, I found them way too bleak for my well-being 😅 maybe I'll change my mind one day.
25. When do you read?
I've been (re)reading a lot of Good Omens fanfics lately, in the evenings before I go to sleep.
It's been a bit harder to find a rhythm with books, so far train rides are the only place I find myself settled down enough to read them for hours on end.

I don’t know if you answered this since I’m new so forgive me, but are you interested in any anime? If so, which ones? If not, how about which movies or tv shows are you interested in, or want to see? (May I suggest you maybe watch Dead Boy Detectives or Lockwood and Co, they are both very good, but those are just suggestions don’t feel pressured to see them!). Have a good day and thank you!
Not to worry (I'm new too).
Anime: One Punch Man, Goblin Slayer, Code Geass, Kotaro Lives Alone, Gintama (and those are the ones I can think of)
TV: Loved the sandman adaptation after being a fan of the comics for so long, Good Omens, League of Gentlemen, The Thick of It, quite enjoyed The Boys although I'm only partway through Season 2, lots of British sketch comedy (the list is long so maybe another time)
Films: Cyrano De Bergerac (the 1990 one with Gerard Depardieu) is my all time favourite and one I think everyone should see at least once, The Producers (the musical one with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick), The Death of Stalin, pretty much anything by Guillermo Del Toro (Hellboy 2 probably my favourite), Me Earl and the Dying Girl
For films I could go on for hours but those are some of my core recommendations. I watch a lot of stuff, sometimes passively, so I'm sure I'll remember more at another time.
I'll also resist the urge to write and post essays for each of these because I do go on a bit sometimes.

hellooo 💌 for the fic ask meme: 💖🧠🏅📥🍰
Hello, friend!!! 💖💖💖
💖 What do you like most about your own writing?
I think I do a pretty good job with dialogue and humor. I like writing things that make me laugh, and when I get a comment from someone saying they laughed at that same particular thing, I feel like I won the damn lottery.
🧠 What’s an idea you have that you can’t quite call a WIP yet?
I keep playing around with this idea of a pre-s4 Cyrano de Bergerac AU, where Gail enlists Guillermo's help to write love letters to Nandor because she knows she's on thin ice with him after the botched proposal. It's chaos bordering on crack, but knowing me I'd make it way too sincere lol. I think it would be a super fun read, if I could ever start typing words for it.
🏅 What is something you recently felt proud of in regard to your writing (finished a fic, actually planned for once, etc).
Sometimes I look at the BEHEMOTH of a fic that is Big Bloody Bake-Off and I can't believe I wrote essentially 10k each week to keep up with a weekly posting schedule. Someday I'll go into it and fix any egregious errors, but the fact that it's done and 99.9% readable is astounding to me. (EXTREME shoutout to @sketchysketchin for being my muse/cheerleader for that one).
In general, though, just looking at my fics and seeing the improvement makes me feel a nice bit of pride. I never wrote ANYTHING prior to a year-ish ago when I started writing fic, so to have people that WANT to read my work and that LIKE it, while I'm still very much figuring out what the hell I'm doing, feels amazing.
📥 What is your fave fic to receive comments/messages on?
Truthfully, I'm RUNNING to my inbox every time I get an ao3 email, but I especially love getting comments on the longer fics, when someone is trying to guess what happens next or rant about something that happened in the chapter - something that shows they're really engaged in the story and excited to move on but HAD to say something about it first.
(That being said, though, Dear Friend has a special place in my heart and I always get super warm fuzzies when I get a new comment on that one)
🍰 Name one of your fave comfort fics (doesn’t have to be your all time fave).
Well, as I've already gushed, yours of course. Lately I've really enjoyed tucking into a good AU. Another fun one in the wwdits fandom is Bittersweet and Strange by Jay Auris (which I read on Christmas last year and might do again).
I also just finished What We Make of It for Good Omens, which I have a feeling will definitely be a comfort fic for me. It's MASSIVE and so fun and fluffy but has very real discussions/gripes on the US medical system bs and the US educational system, which - as an educator that thankfully exists in the outskirts of it but has to deal with the consequences - I just resonated with so hard. There were parts when Aziraphale was just incensed about how awful the public school system treats students and how things like standardized testing and education software kills children's desire to learn - and refuses to accommodate the individual's needs - that had me pumping my fists.

Fic writer interview
Thanking @sinni-ok-sessi for the tag!
How many works do you have on AO3? 13
What's your total AO3 word count? 50455 - holy shit, a whole nanowrimo!
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Sleeping Arrangements (Good Omens) Habitual (Good Omens) Project New Hope (MCU) Passing the Time (Star Trek:DS9) With Friends Like These (Star Wars, The Mandalorian)
I think I kind of already knew about the top 3, but I would not have called the last two. Nice to see With Friends LIke These doing well, that was so much fun to write but I never felt like it found its audience, y'know
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Mostly not, alas - it feels very awkward to just repeatedly say Thanks <3, however genuinely and enthusiastically I would mean that! I want emoji reacts to AO3 comments, that's about the level I'm at. That being said, I'll try to make the effort if someone's written me an essay, because it's so cool to get that and I've had some really fun conversations that way
What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending? I don't really do angsty endings. I've been known to write angsty fic, but I'm usually ending on an upswing...Story-Wise is probably the closest, being as how it's heavily implied that everybody involved is dead, and also Bilbo walks away at the end, but even that to me is more bittersweet than angsty.
What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending? Not Story-Wise, and probably not Lethe. But with the rest I don't know that there's much between them. The ship ones tend to end with a get-together, the dealing-with-shit ones tend to end on a found family gathering, and the funny ones end on punchlines; they're all happy but no stand-outs, if that makes sense.
Do you write crossovers? Write? Sure. Plan out intricately and in great detail? Absolutely. Finish? Never in my life. I tend to have the idea for a lot of crossovers too, but very few of those ever get started. Off the top of my head, the current list includes a Star Trek AOS/Disney's Atlantis fusion, thousands of words of BBC Merlin is happening in Starfleet now, a few incoherent sentences of post-Burial Mounds Wei Wuxian having absorbed all of its ghosts a la Matthew Swift of Blue Electric Angels fame, three scenes of Person of Interest and Castle, several pages of Phryne Fisher and Diana Prince are besties - ohhhhh, and my beloved "Oh Good, My Sith Found the Chainsaw" Star Wars/Lilo and Stitch nonsense, which is the only one of these I have any intention of finishing.
Have you ever received hate on a fic? Not as far as I remember. The closes I ever got was someone commenting on Project New Hope in a very "trying to start a fight about MCU Civil War" way, but claiming they agreed with my opinion on it despite MCU Civil War very much not happening in that universe. Very odd.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Not really? The closest I've gotten in anything published is the blowjob letter in And With It My Constant Mind, which is more of an extended sext, and the ending of Untitled #3...the theme seems to be Cyrano De Bergerac and blowjobs, so make of that what you will.
Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not as far as I know
Have you ever had a fic translated? No.
Have you ever co-written a fic before? Involves too much unfortunate-ordeal-of-being-known, I'm afraid. I'm in awe of people who do this though, the process mystifies me.
What’s your all-time favorite ship? I am invoking my god-given bisexual right not to choose. I cannot do it. Simply impossible. Cyrano/Christian/Roxane of Cyrano de Bergerac fame is probably a front-runner though.
What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will? Lin Chen's Hanahaki Research Project - I was having a lot of fun with character voices and style, and it was challenging me as a writer in interesting ways, but I think it needs more research and investment and full Nirvana in Fire rewatches than I'm ever going to commit to.
What are your writing strengths? Comedy, yearning, and sentences that sound good when you read them aloud.
What are your writing weaknesses? Actually finishing things and comedy (I contain multitudes)
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? Absolutely do not have the confidence to do that, thank you and good night.
What was the first fandom you wrote for? By published work, the MCU, unpublished I was not immune to Supernatural
What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to? Was not expecting this to be the trickiest one to answer, what the heck. Ummm. Idk. I get more enthused by specific ideas than by specific fandoms, I think - if I actively want to write for something it's because I've been Seized By An Idea(TM), Taken Hostage By An Idea, Had My Whole Brain Rewritten To Think Constantly About This Idea, rather than like abstractly, huh, it would be fun to write something for X
What’s your favorite fic you’ve written? I-love-all-of-my-children-equally.gif. No, that's a cop-out. Um. Usually I think whatever I've written most recently gets the most affection, so With Friends Like These is bang at the top. And With It My Constant Mind I suspect is going to have the most longevity at the top of my list, I was living with that one for years and I'm really really proud of how it turned out.
Right, no pressure tagging @starkey @missfangirll @july-19th-club @ereborne and any other writerly folks lurking out there who are interested :D

Petunia, Sunflower, and... Snapdragon for Kestrel/Jay/Willow(/Holly) maybe?
-@troutfur
I really enjoy the idea of a signed anon ask (I get that it's because you can't send asks from sideblogs but it's still funny). Anyway!
Petunia: Which arc is your favorite? Which is your least favorite?
The original arc is probably my true favorite. I think it's just a much better and tighter written series than anything that follows. But since that's a bit unfair to everything that comes after, I'll also say that A Vision of Shadows is my favorite arc other than that one.
Least favorite is easily Omen of the Stars. Fun characters but it just can't stop tripping over its own inconsistencies.
Sunflower: What’s a popular headcanon that you don’t agree with?
I don't know what the popular headcanons are really, but I suppose I disagree with the idea that Brambleclaw/star and Squirrelflight/star have a particularly bad relationship. They have a lot of difficulties as leader & deputy to be sure, but they care about each other a lot, I think.
Snapdragon: Make up a romance plot for Kestrel/Jay/Willow.
Kestrelpaw has a huge crush on Jaypaw, but can't get him to acknowledge any of his advances, so he recruits Willowpaw to help, like, Cyrano de Bergerac him to romantic success. It goes really poorly, Willowpaw is discovered, shenanigans ensue that get the three medicine cat apprentices stuck somewhere. By the time they resolve the problem, they've ended up as a throuple but none of them will admit it. It's so so obvious though.

Me again. Odd question. Do you think Dr Who should return to the Land of Fiction on screen? I do. Heck I think I once told you I had an idea for a fic involving Thirteen, Iris Wildthyme, Jack Harkness and Cyrano de Bergerac all working together in the LoF to stop a plot by the Great Intelligence. It’s still just a pitch. And it will likely remain so unless I set up an AO3 account. My other idea involved Daleks gaining medium awareness and the War Doctor fighting them along with Iris again. Idk.
It might be fun, yeah! I remember there's a pretty good New Adventure called Conundrum set in the Land of Fiction, so ig that's a good omen. Having said that, I do wonder if fans wouldn't like it considering how out of keeping for the world of Doctor Who it seems from a modern perspective.

@saretton was talking about a Cyrano de Bergerac AU earlier and y’all I got carried away again. Basic backstory here is Crowley is Cyrano, Aziraphale is Christian, and Anathema is Roxane. Crowley is in love with Aziraphale (obv) and Aziraphale has convinced himself he’s in love with Anathema because of internalized homophobia. The turning point in the story is when Anathema turns Aziraphale down in favor of Newt and Aziraphale realizes he’s actually rather relieved and maybe he wasn’t all that into her after all., Then Anathema points out all the things Aziraphale has been saying to her and writing to her (words that he is getting from Crowley) sound like they’re actually intended for someone other than her. Aziraphale does some thinking and concludes that Crowley is in love with someone, which is problematic because Aziraphale is actually in love with Crowley. Anyway, I wrote the very end scene where they finally get together because I’m Azcrow trash and have no self-control. Here you go:
“What brings you to my humble abode, angel?” Crowley had sprawled out in his usual position on the settee, and Aziraphale’s breath caught in his throat. The sinewy beauty and easy grace of the man – how had he been so blind as to never notice it before? How was he supposed to go on now that he did? How was he supposed to listen to Crowley call him angel in that tone of casual fondness without losing all control over himself and doing something that would ruin their friendship forever?
“Aziraphale?” Crowley prompted.
Aziraphale shook himself and took a seat in the armchair he always sat in, the one he’d come to think of as his in the back of his mind. “My apologies; I was lost in thought for a moment,” he said. “I stopped by because I spoke with Miss Device yesterday afternoon.”
Crowley tensed. It was a subtle movement, but Aziraphale was watching too closely to miss it. He assumed it was out of concern for Aziraphale; the meeting yesterday had not been one they had anticipated, so Crowley had been unable to help Aziraphale prepare for it. “How did that go?”
“She informed me that while she values our friendship and is flattered by and appreciates the overtures I’ve made of late, she bears no romantic feelings toward me and has instead decided to accept the suit of Newton Pulsifer.”
“I’m sorry,” Crowley said, genuine regret lacing his voice. “I know you love her.”
“That’s the funny thing,” Aziraphale said, and in the light of a new day it did seem funny. One of those casual anecdotes about an embarrassing moment some years past and oh, wasn’t I foolish? “I don’t love her; I don’t think I ever did. That is, I certainly return her sentiments regarding our friendship, but beyond that my infatuation stemmed more from the idea of her as the sort of person I ought to be in love with than any genuine feeling.”
“It certainly seemed genuine enough,” Crowley remarked archly. A fair enough attitude as he as certainly suffered the brunt of Aziraphale’s misguided infatuation.
“It seemed so to me as well, but I have a rather marvelous gift for self-deception I’m discovering. Though I suspect deep down part of me must have known, which is why I failed so abysmally at expressing it.” He was quite certain of that in fact. Because looking at Crowley now Aziraphale felt he could write sonnet upon sonnet, pages and pages and pages of love letters. He would go on his knees before Crowley and spill his heart out in hundreds of thousands of eloquently-spun words if he thought it would do any good.
Aziraphale sighed. “It all worked out for the best, I suppose, and I do wish the two of them happiness. I very much appreciate all the help you’ve given me throughout this endeavor, regardless of how it ended.”
“Of course,” Crowley said easily. “I’d do anything for you angel, just say the word.”
Aziraphale’s smile faltered for a moment, but he reclaimed it by forcing himself to take Crowley’s offer in the congenial spirit it was offered and to ignore how differently Crowley might feel if he knew of Aziraphale’s unnatural desires. “Thank you. And what about you?”
“What about me?”
“Really, don’t play coy. When we were speaking yesterday Miss Device pointed out how most of the things you wrote for me to give her actually sounded as though they were written with someone else in mind entirely. You’re in love.”
Crowley bolted up in alarm. “That’s not—I didn’t— Don’t be angry ange— Aziraphale. Nothing has to change; I just—“
“Don’t be absurd, Crowley. Of course I’m not angry. Well, perhaps a little hurt you didn’t think to mention that you’d fallen in love, but I understand some people finds these kinds of things difficult to talk about. I don’t hold it against you. As for nothing changing…” Aziraphale found he could no longer stand to look at Crowley, so ducked his head and watched his hands gently wringing in his lap. “Things should change. I read everything you wrote and heard all the words you said; it’s clear how deeply you feel for this woman. You should tell her— no, I insist that you tell her how you feel. There’s no way she’ll turn you down with how beautifully you express yourself. I realize my experience with Miss Device might not be exactly confidence-building in that regard, but I’m sure your lady will be able to sense the genuineness of your feelings. And of course if there’s anything I can do to help, I—“
Crowley kissed him.
Aziraphale barely had time to register what was happening before Crowley pulled away again. At some point he must have risen from the settee and was now knelt on the ground in front of Aziraphale, gazing upon him as earnestly reverent as any man at worship.
Aziraphale felt like he’d been hit by a runaway carriage. All those lines, all the little clues to the identity of the woman Crowley loved that Aziraphale had seen, but had been unable to puzzle out. They were all about him. “You’re in love with me,” he breathed.
“Shit. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to…” Crowley placed his hands on Aziraphale’s knees and pulled them away again, as light as a butterfly. When Aziraphale didn’t protest, Crowley set them back down, his long fingers curled tight as though he feared Aziraphale might bolt any second. “I meant what I said. Nothing has to change. Just let me stay by your side as your friend. Let me stay in your life. All I’m asking for is just the smallest, most insignificant crumb of you, and I swear to you I will never—“
Aziraphale kissed him.
Crowley seemed too shocked at first to respond, but Aziraphale continued the kiss until Crowley, tentatively at first and then with more and more fervor, returned the gesture. Aziraphale straightened back up, gently guiding Crowley along with him until they were both in the chair with Crowley astride Aziraphale’s lap. Crowley’s hands were fisted in Aziraphale’s shirt as he desperately tried to pull them even closer together. Aziraphale’s own hands were resting on Crowley’s shoulders, but after a minute he daringly reached up to run one through Crowley’s fine fire-strand hair. Crowley whined into Aziraphale’s mouth. He broke the kiss and buried his face in Aziraphale’s neck, ripping his glasses off and tossing them across the room to do it.
Aziraphale held Crowley in his arms, one hand still gently carding Crowley’s hair, and marveled at the turn his life had taken. An hour ago this was something he believed he would never have. A day ago this was something he had never even knew he wanted. And now here he was. At that exact moment he decided that the world was wrong about these feelings. How could they be anything but good and right when he felt so blessed?
Crowley mumbled something into Aziraphale’s neck. “What was that?” Aziraphale asked. “I didn’t quite catch it.”
Crowley turned his head slightly. “I said, is this real?”
“Crowley,” Aziraphale said, his voice choked with emotion. He urged Crowley up to look at him and, oh, there was the reason for the glasses. Because Crowley’s eyes were so expressive. There was so much love there, Aziraphale felt he was drowning in it. And alongside the love there was hope, cautious and terrified, but hope.
“Crowley,” Aziraphale repeated. “My darling. My dearest. My closest and truest companion. My love, my light, my joy. My heart’s only.” Aziraphale watched as with each endearment the hope in Crowley’s eyes brightened. Crowley had gifted Aziraphale with so many beautiful words, and though Aziraphale hadn’t always listened as closely as he should have, he’d heard them all. And now it wa time he shared some of his own with Crowley. He leaned forward and spoke directly into Crowley’s ear:
“I confess this to you now, my dear,
The strangest truth I have.
Because you have always seen more clear,
Than I myself ever have.
I feel the warmth of you in my arms.
You scent is far too dear to be faked.
I wish to keep you here safe from all harms,
And to always bestow upon you more love than I take.
  The beauty of your eyes–”
Here Crowley made a noise of protest. Aziraphale hushed him and continued.
“The beauty of your eyes,
Burnt amber in the light,
Is far greater than imagining could provide.
My mind would never get it right.
These sensations are far too vivid,
For this to be a dream.
But the joy here is far more fervid,
Than I have ever experienced in reality.
I no longer know what is true,
And would not care if I did.
For either I find myself here with you,
Or we lie together dreaming instead.”
For a long moment Crowley said nothing, and Aziraphale began to get nervous. “I know it’s not as good as the ones you wrote. Some of the rhymes were dreadful and I’m sure the meter was all wrong and—“
Crowley gently cupped Aziraphale’s face. “I think you’re right. This is too perfect to be anything but a dream.” He kissed Aziraphale, long and slow and deep. “So let’s never wake up.”

Good Omens fic idea, for Cyrano de Bergerac fans
Edmond Rostand (author of said book- before he writes it) tries to get Aziraphale’s attention by sending him bits of writing. Aziraphale’s gender is up to reader’s choice.
Comes Crowley, who starts telling Edmond how you REALLY write love sonnets and starts dictating love letters, and at some point I imagine Crowley, in snake form, hiding in Edmond’s clothes during a party, and hissing in Edmond’s ears the words he himself longs to tell Aziraphale. “Tell him his smile is brighter than the first sunrise. Tell him you would die for that dimple on his cheek. Tell him his eyes are as deep and unfathomable as the ocean. Tell him-”
And Aziraphale is CHARMED. Such beautiful words, such devotion, yes Edmond is a mortal, but maybe..
And Edmond, who is no fool, at some point realises the demon-snake he’s been carrying around is actually in love with Aziraphale. Edmond is not right there yet, so he steps back and tries to convince Crowley to confess. Crowley nopes out of there.
Edmond stops seeing Aziraphale (who is confused but attributes this to humans being fickle) and starts writing a story, a story about a witty man who hides his love by giving his words to another suitor. A story about a man with an evident physical setback- No, can’t be the yellow snake eyes, that would be too evident, let’s make it a prominent nose...
Years later, Aziraphale receives a copy of this story through the mail. There’s a handwritten note on the first page: “My words to you were from another mouth.” Aziraphale never gets it.
Until 2021 or so, when Crowley finds the book in the shelves and says “Oh yeah! Edmond! I remember that guy, I used to teach him how to PROPERLY court you--”

May the fourth be with you.
The Half of It, Netflix’s updated spin on Cyrano de Bergerac premiered and left us with lots of feelings. Sanders Sides had an exciting new episode—nice to meet you, Janus. By now, you've probably given Tom Nook too many bells, and it shows. Was it worth it for that extra room? 20 questions - writer's edition
Thank you for the tag, @insertmeaningfulusername dear! I’m just a bit late but here I am!
How many works do you have on AO3? 100! I reached the milestone with my Summer Alphabet.
What's your total AO3 word count? 349,188, considering that I mostly translate stuff and write drabbles.
How many fandoms have you written for and what are they? Does it really count as I mostly write drabbles? Some with no real knowledge of the fandoms as it was gifts to friends who wanted me to try my hand at them. But it would be fortyish I guess, here is the list: All Souls Trilogy - Deborah Harkness, Arsène Lupin, Au revoir là-haut (2017), Ben-Hur (1959), Blake and Mortimer, Call Me By Your Name, Captain America,  Carol (2015), Bible (Old Testament), Cyrano de Bergerac - Edmond Rostand, Fragments d'éternité - Séverine Mikan, Fullmetal Alchemist, Gaston (Bande Dessinée), Good Omens, Hannibal (TV), Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell - Susanna Clarke, Kingsman (Movies), Lady Chatterley’s Lover (2015), Notre-Dame des Fleurs | Our Lady of the Flowers - Jean Genet, One Piece, Penny Dreadful (TV), Hercule Poirot, Portrait de la jeune fille en feu | Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019) , Pride and Prejudice, Sherlock (TV), Sherlock Holmes, Spirou et Fantasio, Supernatural, The Epic of Gilgamesh, The Lord of the Rings (Movies), Tipping the Velvet (TV), Versailles (TV 2015), Wide Sargasso Sea - Jean Rhys,  X-Men (Alternate Timeline Movies), A la Recherche du Temps Perdu, Gentleman Jack, A Song of Ice and Fire
What are your top 5 fics by kudos? They are a mix of old and new things, not necessarily the best things, that being said.
1. L’Alphabet de l’été 2018 (a daily drabble wrote during the summer, using as prompt an unusal word)
2. Tell me what it is beauty. (An Holmescest, wrote eons ago)
3. When we were young (an AU in which Charles and Erik are uni roommates)
4. A morning guy (an AU in which Harry and Draco are muggles and get to know each other because of transportation strike)
5.Now from the beginning (A retirement!lock, a wee bit sad)
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Of course I do, it would be rude of me to moan on the lack of comments if I did not. Anyway, people take time to read and comment, I can take time to reply. (except if people are downright rude, of course)
What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending? Not necessarily angsty but quite sad is the retirement!lock aforementioned.
What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending? I mostly write drabbles but I think I do try to make my characters fairly happy.
Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you've written? I do! I wrote a fic for a Secret Santa back in 2019 in which many characters get to meet each other including, Remus Lupin, Charles Xavier, Erik Lehnsherr, Sirius Black, Isidore Beautrelet and Arsène Lupin.
Have you ever received hate on a fic? Some not very kind words in my early days, but it’s been ages. (Yes, I know I have not given them back the “minutes of their existence they lost reading my fic”.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I do! Much less than I used to, but mlm and wlw, very occasionally some het thingie but that would be clumsy as hell...
Have you ever had a fic stolen? No and I hope it would never be the case.
Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes, thank you very much for that @tinaxpow! ♥
Have you ever co-written a fic before? Yep! A whole lotta lot but very few got published in the end. Now and then I co-write a drabble collection with admamu, Charlism, its ceremonies, its followers, in French and I translate it in English.
What's your all-time favourite ship? Probably Cherik, I think.
What's a WIP you want to finish but don't think you ever will? Most of the projects that are not drabbles but I would think The Man at the Museum and Graymalkin College ou les Errements de Charles F. Xavier.
What are your writing strengths? Strengths? Erm... I’m quite good at writing ‘true’ 100-word drabbles.
What are your writing weaknesses? Just like you, Step, I can’t focus on long stuff. I would start something just for the pleasure of writing something or some scene but would not get the plot forward. My sentences are way too intricated but I would consider it more a choice than a weakness.
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? I love it! I love languages, I love the genuineness of it. Just like knowing the brand of tea characters drink or the tiny details that give a feeling of the country they live in or their culture is very precious and dear to me.
What was the first fandom you wrote for? Harry Potter, just after I finished the seventh book, back in 2007.
What's your favourite fic you've written? Charlism, its ceremonies, its followers all the way.
Tagging (as always no obligation) whoever wants to do it but also if you feel like, @sherlock-is-no-sociopath , @jamlavender  :)

Author Interview Tag
Tagged by @hella1975 , aka the jerk who doesn't realize I haven't written anything besides essays since middle school and thus am freaking out about getting back into fanfic.
Name: Espí, Shamooda
Fandom(s): Cyrano de Bergerac, A:TLA, The Adventure Zone, Hadestown, Newsies, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Good Omens, Check, Please!, The Cat Returns, Matilda, etc.
Where you post: Here on tumbo
Most popular oneshot: I think it was a songfic for "The Cat Returns" that I posted on FFN.Net? (We don't talk about my middle school fics)
Most popular multichapter fic: Another songfic, we don't talk about my middle school works for a reason, okay?
Favorite story you've written so far: NONE OF THEM, THEY WERE ALL FUCKING CRINGE
Fic you were nervous to post: ALL OF THEM, I WAS A MIDDLE SCHOOLER
How you choose your titles: They were all songfics, take a fucking guess
Do you outline?: I didn't used to, but if there's one thing fandom in general taught me, it's that it sucks when a fic gets abandoned because the writer loses motivation or doesn't know where to take the plot. Plus, I always respected the TCR writers, because they always finished writing their fics before posting.
Complete: All my fics were oneshots, so yes?
In progress: Ghost AU. No I won't elaborate ♡
Coming Soon/Not yet started: Ghost AU. Really nervous since my middle school multichap was a oneshot collection, and this might turn into a multichapter thing? So we'll see how it goes.
Do you accept prompts?: Not really, my writing is crappy and I don't want to disappoint people.
Upcoming work that you're most excited about: The next chapters of The Art of Burning and Fractures, most definitely!
Tagging the following people: @zuko-just-wants-his-honor , @jekkiefan , @joyfulsongbird , @bongripsncoffee , @red-0ak-tree (y'all don't have to do it if you don't want to! ♡)
