The players continue to breach containment. The dome will not hold them. It’s only a matter of time before they shatter the fourth wall (and reality while they’re at it).
I think one of my fave things about the Stepmother reveal is who turned to look.
Because of course it was only the kids that looked. It's always only the kids in these sorts of stories who are the ones to look inextricable horror in the face while adults knowingly pretend there's nothing to see
The last thing Gerard did before leaving Baba Yaga’s cabin was to comfort Pinocchio. To tell him to lean on Tom Thumb if things went wrong. To turn over the duty of Pinocchio’s care to someone else, someone who Gerard knew could do the job.
I know this was played for laughs, but like… imagine being in Pinocchio’s place, and this older male figure that has been uncomfortably-makeshift-dadding his way through this adventure with you comes back, and he’s now just a giant frog without a name. Just a big-ass frog. Wears a crown. Probably dragging the Sword of Truth through the snow behind him with his tongue.
No more yelling about dragging him to Toy Island. No more snowball fights. No more whiskey and bubble gum.
Ylfa going into this horrifying purgatory status waiting for the Woodsman to complete her story but he never comes. The Wolf patiently waiting with her because he knows that's how the story is SUPPOSED to go. And when he sees that something is wrong and that these weeks of waiting are killing this little girl that is meant to be saved and live happily ever after, he gives himself up and finds a way for her to live because he cares so much and wants this girl he's been telling this story with to survive
going from pinocchio’s stepmom breaking his nose off and using it to draw blood from his father to pib playing in the forest with a rabbit and fox was such an emotional rollercoaster
It's a dog-eat-dog world out there. What will you do?
[ ID: A drawing of Ylfa from the knees up, hunched over forward and looking down and to the side with a wide-eyed blank expression. Her arms are raised up in front of her. One of them is a fully wolf's paw, and the other is somewhere between wolf and human. She has slitted pupils, a dog's nose, and acne. Her hair is short and choppy and she's wearing a shirt, a dark belt, a striped and solid skirt, a red cloak, and the skin of a wolf, with the wolf's top jaw hooked over her head like a hood. The wolf's one visible eye is open and human, staring at the viewer. End ID ]
holy fuck holy fuck holy fuck dude not only is the wolf being BOILED ALIVE, he’s being boiled alive OVER AND OVER again??? his very SOUL is being killed and reduced as he lives his death over and over in chains, in a giant STEW??? there’s so many levels of transgression and abjection and horror here i’m FREAKING OUT!!!!!! death itself is not meant to die and certainly shouldn’t be murdered!!!
A very rough sketch but I am loving Dimension 20s new campaign Neverafter :) Shame it already ended at episode 3 but yknow that's just how the dice roll sometimes!
As someone going through a tough and messy breakup that is very complicated can I just say Gerard in the newest episode means the world to me??? I mean he's always meant the world to me but when he said "i think gerard hopes that Elodie's story is going in a way she wants it to, or at least it gets there eventually, and it would be great if I had a chance to be there for it and I hope we can break the curse the same way we did the first time, by getting to know each other again" like Murph i owe you my life you dont understand
I am so proud of Murph for eating Rapunzel, like, you have no idea. Frogs are awful awful creatures that will eat anything and everything they can fit in their mouths. They are also cannibals. Frogs do not give a shit. Murph was 100% right to eat that bitch, hair and all.
If Frogs were big enough they’d be the number #2 murder disposal animal, right behind pigs.
Note: I say frogs are awful awful creatures, but like, I mean that with love and sincerity. I love the little murder happy bastards.
why am i so destroyed over the gander choosing to adventure with timothy. like him knowing he has tormented timothy the entire time, knowing he was the villain in timothy’s story, and still trusting that timothy wouldn’t turn him away
actually going to cry at the wolf’s “death is hungry for everything but timothy” 🥺 ylfa has lost so much— her name, her humanity. but the one thing she hasn’t lost is her love for timothy. he cared for her when no one else did. they started this adventure together and they’re going to finish it together too 😭❤️
