"Dragon's eggs, from the Shadow Lands beyond Asshai," said Magister Illyrio. "The eons have turned them to stone, yet still they burn bright with beauty."

Daenerys book differences

{only the firsts three seasons}

In S1, we mostly see how badly Daenerys was treated by Viserys and then how, with Drogo's help, she proceeded to go against him and then become the mother of dragons. In the first book, we actually see how she herself started to outshine him; she started to grow as a leader and started to create her own circle of people. To give an example, there's this scene when she orders the khalasar to stay behind ("you're learning to talk like a queen," "not a queen, a khaleesi"), and Viserys gets mad at her (as usual). In the show, it's a man from the Khalasar who humiliates him and takes away his horse (Rakharo, if I remember correctly). In the book, it's Daenerys; she's the one who humiliates him using her dothraki knowledge. This shows not only that she was starting to defy her brother but also her leadership's growth.

Still in S1, in the last episode, there's the speech where she says, "And I swear to you, that all those that will harm you will die screaming." There's a similar speech in the book, but she says that all the men who raped a little girl will die screaming.

In s2, when she sends people away and she sees how her people are not doing well, she looks frightened, and she needs Jorah to tell her that "she needs to be their strength" (completely erasing her leadership moment). In the book, however, she already knows that she needs to be their strength and that she can show no weakness or fear.

Still in s2, when they arrive to Qarth, she just starts screaming in one of the seven that she will burn down cities and whatever ("we will lay waste on armys and burn cities to the ground"). Also when they enter and they don't agree to take her to Westeros, she gets mad again and looks childish. In the books, however, the seven let her stay in Qarth out of curiosity, and she's also the one to explain to Xaro how business works, showing her intelligence.

In S3, she wonders whether to buy the unsullied or not. In the book, she affirms that she wants people to follow her because they believe in her and not because they've been bought. Does that sound familiar to you? of course, because they gave that whole speech to Ser Barriston, again taking away her intelligence.

Also, with the second sons it's not Daario that guides her like it happens in the show. In the book, Daenerys is the one who plans the attack against Yunkai, giving them different information to trick them and getting the second sons drunk. Again, her intelligence and leadership were given to her male advisors.

Being the daughter of Daenerys Targaryen

Whether you are a bio daughter or not is up to you.

-Daenerys had always had the desire to be a mother. From the day you were first placed in her arms Daenerys was instantly in love with you. Although the people of Meereen were her children you were the most cherished. Nuha Rina she called you, her child.

It was a warm night, but surprisingly a light breeze carried itself on the wind. Daenerys stood by the window watching over the city with its flickering flames and unique spices. The baby in her arms stirred and one of Y/n's tiny fists retched up. Daenerys placed a kiss on the babies petal smooth skin. The love she felt for this babe surpassed even that of her dragons. Misa, they had called her. Only now Daenerys felt the sole connection that a mother had with their child. An unbreakable bond between two souls.

-Daenerys is a strict mother. Not in a cruel sense, but she does expect you to follow and obey her. However her love is fierce and she is very protective of you. While she might take you into the town amongst the common people, teach you to lead an army and embody the flame of Valyria, Daenerys is constantly scared something will happen to you. While she may walk amongst her people without a care, you are a different matter. There is always a guard by your side. From the time you are old enough to walk Daenerys has a personal guard to attend you. Any maid or lady in waiting is carefully selected.

Daenerys held your small hand, slowing down so you could keep up. The citizens of Meereen were used to seeing their Queen walk amongst them. But today it was a first for you. Normally mother had you stay in the carriage. Visible, but at a safe distance. Despite the Queen's desire to keep her daughter safe she was also aware that because the Targaryen dynasty was little more than a budding flower in Essos. They needed to cement their hold and that could only be done is you showed yourself to the people. It was your duty as a monarch. And besides, was it not a mothers duty to forge a relationship between themselves and their children? "Your Grace, if I may?" An elderly woman approached, a bundle of colourful flowers in hand. Daenerys was used to people approaching her, but her daughter was another matter. She laid a hand on her daughters shoulder apprehensively. Y/n looked up hopefully, waiting for her mothers permission. She allowed the older woman to approach. Normally warmth spread through her body when granted such a gesture. But all she felt was concern. She let out a sigh of relief when her daughter received the flowers, unharmed.

-Daenerys loves teaching you the stories of old Valyria. You will lay next to her on the silk blankets as she talks well into the night. Expect rides with her dragons. While Daenerys might be apprehensive about others in your vicinity, her dragons are different. There will be lots of red and black dresses in your closet.

Y/n sleepily rested against her mothers side. Today had been rather exciting. What, with getting three new dresses all decked out in Targaryen regalia and a ride on Drogon the little Princess was all tuckered out. "Balerion climbed higher and higher into the sky. Higher and higher Aegon the Conqueror flew. So high up he was that Harrenhal was little more than a spot. Suddenly, he advanced upon the stone keep. And the castle, built upon the blood of slaves was in flames-" Daenerys noticed by your breathing that you were asleep. Carefully she slipped you under the covers. With the candles extinguished she allowed sleep to claim her, Y/n in her arms.

This ones a bit shorter than the rest. But I am very tired and want to get this one out. Expect Sansa next.

Yandere! Daenerys Targaryen Headcanons

I've never watched Game of Thrones [GOT] so I'm sorry if this is OOC, but just know I tried my best. [I know a little bit about her from Tiktok Edits]

From the moment she saw you, she was enchanted and had to have you

She'll approach you bold and confident, hoping to catch not only your eye but maybe your hand as well

She doesn't care where you're from, even if you're a White Walker, she will take you and engrave you into the House of Targaryen

^ Her brother will see it as a betrayal, but she's quick to hush him up, saying he knows nothing of love

Loves when you call her Dany/Dannie, it makes her feel warm and special inside

Will braid your hair, telling you it's part of a tradition, whenever you win a tournament and battle, under the guise that it's easier for her to braid it

Would love if you braid her hair after winning a fight

It makes her feel closer to you and you're sharing a special moment

She hums to you while she braids it

Mostly lullabies

She turns you around when she's done braiding and looks at your face. She'll slowly caress your cheek, before putting some baby hairs behind your ear

And to her, you are

Will take you riding on her dragons

At first you were scared, but she's quick to console you and tell you it'll be fine

God, she loves when you squeeze her tightly in fear of falling

Every rejection you send her way just makes her more determined

She's protective over you. If anyone dares threaten you, she will kill them. How dare they try and threaten the love of her life? They were asking for death

She would do anything for you, all you have to do is ask. You want a specific food? Well, she'll travel across the world to get it for you

Sometimes she doesn't think about her actions in full and can end up accidentally hurting you

In those moments, she becomes frustrated at herself for hurting you. She becomes angry and will profusely apologize

Speaking of anger, whenever she does become angry, especially when it's because she hurt you, someone always gets hurt. She has to hurt someone else to replace the feeling of guilt and shame from hurting you. She doesn't care who, just anyone besides you. Maybe even someone you dislike?
