It's almost that time of the year again. I can't believe I've done it so many times and for so many years. With 210 characters (plus all I've done off-challenge), it's probably my largest production of anything ever, at least as far as quantifiable things go.

It's pretty simple, for a whole month I 3D-Sculpt a different character every day. Mostly I stick to fan art, but I've done a few OC and I probably will do that again this year. I did this challenge for the first time on September 2015, as a one-off. Then I brought it back on April 2017 and stuck with it as an annual thing it until now. It's very time-consuming and I always end up losing sleep and prioritizing it over anything else. I don't know whether I'll be able to pull it off again, but I'm willing to try one more time 😅

Goodnight prompt 4/∞

Fandom: Detroit: Become Human Ship: RK900/Gavin Reed, RK900&Connor AUs/Tropes: Reverse AU (kinda), secret identity (but it's complicated) Prompt: Gavin is the android that worked with Richard (but everyone calls him Nines) Stern during the revolution. Their partnership was very complicated from day 1, but it gets even worse when, during a mission, Richard finds out that he himself is one of the androids he despises so much.

Extra details: First of all, in this AU I imagine Connor and Richard as "brothers". Like, at first Amanda adopted Connor because she saw in him the potential to be a smart man that could follow her footsteps and help build new technologies to make the world a better place. But as soon as he showed an interest in becoming a policeman instead of working in tech, she started building Richard with Elijah Kamski's help, just to prove that Connor would never be the best detective because Richard would always be better than him. Amanda was so focused on this "revenge" against her own adopted son, that she basically was blindsided by her sickness and she was dead before she even had a chance to activate Richard. Connor, that always dreamed of having a brother and didn't really care to be "the best", asked Kamski to finish his job and even offered some of his memories so that, when activated, Richard would believe that they were adopted together and that Richard looked up to his older brother so much that he decided he wanted to follow in his brother's footsteps. Kamski even goes so far as to actually create a fake identity for Richard. Basically, Richard is a deviant from day 1. Or at least he reached deviancy so early on in his life that neither Connor nor Kamski can pinpoint the exact moment it happened. Still, seeing him being his own being and growing from the base of the programming Kamski built into him, pushes them into actually finding out what it is that allowed him to become deviant, and program every other android to have the same potential for deviancy. Still, exactly because he's a deviant, Richard develops a hatred for androids exactly because he has so little memories of Amanda in the first place and he blames her work on androids for her untimely death. Like always, in my head I didn't really care about the actual incident that causes him to find out he's an android. This is an idea for something that's more focused on Nines accepting who and what he is. Gavin is basically doing the same thing at the same time, since he became a deviant basically just weeks prior to finding out that Richard is an android too. Also, there's a chance to explore Nines' relationship with Connor, since he would feel betrayed by finding out he's been hiding him the truth. There's also friction that comes from before the revolution between the two, because I imagine Connor would try to explain to his brother why he shouldn't hate androids. Basically, it's a messy situation but there a lot of things that could be explored. Like maybe Richard taking a little bit of time to decide if he really wants to still be a detective or something.

Today I made the DD on Deviant Art. In the twelve years I've been on this hell-site and that one, I merely wished for a platform to inspire me, dump thoughts and collect that what my mind comes up with- in the most inconvenient times.

It's fun that some people see it, amazing if they respond.

But having your words been read by 150k people in just a few hours is just crazy.

Never in my wildest dreams did I believe I could make that wall - a wall on the world wide web I love to look at.

I've always wanted to become a writer, but having finished two books - and lots of stories brewing - I keep hesitating to take the next step. Doubts flitting in. The nerve to leap buried beneath questions and anxiety and honestly, the time!

Today I felt a nudge and I feel a tad overwhelmed and extremely giddy.

Daily Drabble 317- Spur

There were countless horrors in those early days.

The Lord Protector’s harsh decrees enacted with savage, ruthless devotion by his men.

Synagogues, mosques and the churches of the other denominations were torched. Bars and casinos raided. Libraries and schools were cleansed of all heretical media.

Dissidents and sinners were imprisoned. 

Resentment grew, a simmering tension beneath the surface.

When the Lord Protector’s forces hung the singer it boiled over.

A pretty, popular girl, she was found guilty of immorality, heresy and indecency.

Her songs became the rebellion’s hymns, her name a rallying cry.

The resistance of New Manhattan had begun.
