it's apple picking season at the cottage! we could go pick them together! and bring a blanket, and warm tea, and some snacks for in-between breaks (i will absolutely steal an apple or two for those). we could make so many things of them, too! baking apple pie together (heads up, i suck at baking)? making compote? apple sauce to eat with pancakes? baked apples? and apple juice! we could warm it up with some cinnamon when the evenings get colder and drink it together on the porch, chilling with the cats and the hens before they get back to their coop for the night.

and don't get me started about being silly and starting to throw fallen leaves at each other, or jumping into piles of 'em.

also, not to be that person, but i bet you rock some plaid fall aesthetic 😌🌾

my love, i think everyone would agree with me that any time you’re on someone’s dash/in someone’s tags, they’re all looking at you with heart-eyes (me included! that’s actually my default look when you’re involved but i digress)—so no worries about that! and if anyone is annoyed that you’re here, let me tell you, you are on the wrong flagged profile my gender neutral bucko 😤

apple picking is like the apple stealing goblin’s christmas, so of course we’re going! i hope napping and koala-hugging and kinda bothering you while you’re trying to clean the prettiest tree of all its apples (namely with: apple puns, tickles and hugs) are all acceptable activities too eheh also don’t worry, you’re married to the chocolate chips cookie champion (of my building) so baking will be easy peasy! and if you get frustrated, we can always dance for a bit, jam the blueberries away 🌷i have this recipe that i’ve always wanted to try and i think this would be the perfect occasion to: pastila! it’s, like, apple marshmallows. they look delicious and, although lengthy, fun to make too—perfect with the pancakes and the apple sauce the next morning if you ask me 😌 i have a pretty good apple cake recipe too, if one of the cows is an october child or something 🎂

i’m definitely making fallen leaves confetti and sprinkling them in your hair when you’re busy doing something else🍁

also, i peep a biased hubby with my eyes! but i do own some pretty comfy and cute plaid shirts and a couple of vintage overalls, so the wannabe farmer aesthetic is on—might have to take a couple of breathers, but if you’re there it’ll be aaall a-okay 🥰💙

paola, my love, my light, i'm a little late today (did he say at one in the morning), but i couldn't stop thinking about you the entire day 🥺🌷

my sister and her man dragged me out to ikea and i couldn't stop thinking about heading out to italy or our -so far imaginary- bus drive and the casual touches, and, like, just picturing the whole slipping hands in pockets and resting heads on shoulders while looking at the exhibitions and just being relaxed and comfortable with each other, and i'm just maybe a very tiny bit sappy about it okay, and, well, you brought up being a period-husband, so, it's on you, really, but, catch this-

i'll come down to italy first thing, snatch you out of town, quick wedding - as number one stan we might have to work out the logistics of how @gallawitchxx's going to be able to attend - and then, then the life starts, we'll buy ourselves some nice old farm, with acres of fields and/or pastures and a barn, and we'll have our own herd of sheep flocked in with some cows, and we can't forget about our dear cats, and if you want to maybe we could have our own little garden, too? and a bee hive (maybe i'll even admit this is me trying to be punny)? and when i come home from working the fields and tending to the herd we kiss hello on the porch or you come and pick me up because i've forgotten the time once again and the sun's already setting, but instead of rushing home we'll take a little walk through our pastures, just holding hands and talking about our days or just silently enjoying the scenery and each other's company, or i'll proudly show you our crops 🌾 or, or we'll just have dinner out on the pasture between the sheep, and some of them will join us and try to nibble on the edges of our blankets and we'll tell their silly assess off, but we'll also grin and laugh through it - and on occasion we just drive out to the beach (or maybe it's even in walking distance, who knows, let's amp up the sappiness even more), just watching the waves roll by, or maybe we get silly ourselves, leaving our shoes in the sand and playing catch in the shallow water until we're more or less soaking wet but laughing like little kids, and when we're finally home we enjoy dinner together, whatever it might be any given day, i'm flexible, until we snuggle up on the couch or, if it's a particularly draining day, in bed, just exchanging silent whispers of what makes the other loveable and it's just ... a home full of warmth and love, okay 🥺🌷🌼

to be fair, i gotta warn you, you'll probably have to console me every time we'll have to sell some of the calves or the lambs because the herd's getting too big or when we'll have to put them down due to age or being sick 🥺😭
