As much as I love the Daisy/Sousa ship, and as much as I ship it...

It really bothers me that if they plan on getting them together, they resorted to getting her cut up to do so.

It was not necessary for her to get tortured to jump start a “maybe” relationship.

I know that shared trauma brings people together, but you’d think them getting kidnapped and the fear of being tortured would be enough, if that’s what they were attempting.

I love that hurt/comfort scene, but it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth when I think that if they do end up together, she had to go through that for it to happen.

Like seriously. I know Daisy has expressed that she does want to be in a relationship, and she does want someone in her life romantically, and I wholeheartedly believe that Sousa is a great guy and would be great with her, but this is not how I wanted her to start a relationship dammit!

Daisy deserves better (not better as in a better man than Sousa, but better as in not getting tortured.)

AGAIN- I do ship it and I do find them cute together. Just wish she wasn’t tortured. And I hope they actually address her trauma this time. Unlike how they usually handle her trauma.

Ok but listen I LOVE the Daisy/Sousa kisses because the in the time loop she’s undoubtably falling in love with him, but the look on her face before she goes for this kiss is just “you know what, screw it, he’ll forget in five minutes anyways.” There’s no risk to it for her because in the end it will have never had happened. But then she has time to think and decide she really wants this, him, and so when he kisses her it’s not only familiar, but REAL, and she smiles before she kisses him back a second time because she knows this time it will last. This time their kiss is burned into history.

I want to get better at backgrounds, and and I want to work with color more, and get really good at that

Mmmm, not really sure... I've started doing marker art, and I've improved in shading, if that applies

Ok but how did they make Daisy (still looking extremely injured) putting herself in the healing chamber and Sousa wordlessly sitting down to keep watch SO DOMESTIC?? WTF?? Imma be honest, I rarely ever ship but thissss omg. They own my entire heart, please aos don't shatter it

LOL, SUCH A MOOD.

I don’t know how they make it so domestic. It’s probably because Sousa could be literally anywhere else. He could be off walking around on his new leg, learning about the future, investigating how SHIELD has changed. He could be doing literally anything else.

But instead, he chose to sit by Daisy and watch over her. To keep her safe from harm and make sure nothing happens while she’s vulnerable.

There’s just something inherently protective and domestic about staying by someone’s side when they’re asleep or injured. Even better, it means so much more because he barely knows her. If you really think about it, they’ve only known each other for a few days, and yet, so much has happened in that time.

You’d expect him to check up on her, sure. He could have just quickly popped in or asked Jemma how she was doing; but instead, Sousa chose to be right there when something did change. He would be there if she woke up in pain, or if something went wrong with the machine, or if she had a nightmare.

Sousa chose to be there for Daisy, and that says a lot more than some of her previous encounters. We love Sousa for her because we know he’ll genuinely care for her, and we know he won’t leave her.

Daisy’s been shown to have attachment issues from her childhood. Both because she didn’t know her parents growing up, and also because she was constantly being moved around from foster home to foster home. There’s just something about Sousa that screams loyalty. Because he chose to stay when things got tough, we know he won’t be scared off so easily, and I think Daisy now knows that as well.

Holy shit, I really went on a tangent, lmao. Anyways, yes, I totally ship them and want nothing but happiness for them. And if after all this bonding, loyalty, and domestication they chose to kill Sousa? Well, we know what to do.
